Taking down carefully copper / aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendents, regulators, sockets, light fittings etc . removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls,floors, etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down un-serviceable DB of any size and capacity including MCB etc, and removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls,floors, etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unserviceable sub main wiring with copper/aluminium conductor,PVC insulated,unsheathed cable of any size drawn through and including rigid PVC conduit or steel conduit or PVC casing & caping including cutting chases for conduit or steel conduit and making good disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl item No.03 above but with out taking down steel conduit or PVC conduit or PCC casing & caping.

Note : -(i) Replacement of parts/rewinding shall be measured and paid separately (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transporting fan from any location in Army Area to MES store & taking down unserviceable/ defective parts. Taking down existing earthing and M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE :(i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-( ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth wire. Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iii) Item includes cost of lead wire up to 7.5 m Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Taking out garbage damped over existing earthing pits including clearing the site and making serviceable earth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :-- Material required for making serviceable the earth pit will be measured and paid for against respective items.
