Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 120 sqmm, 3 core laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes:- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

M&L for sand cushioning using unwashed dry river sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Approved unwashed dry river sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class HV, Type I, flat, size 300 mm x 180mm x 40mm confirming to IS -5820 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cable end termination jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for HT XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm x 3 core complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cable end termination jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for HT XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm x 3 core complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for Boring of holes of 100mm bore under road, pavement, hard standing by suitable tools and necessary machine suitable for passing the GI protection pipe / cables, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 100mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.
