Checking and attending day to day complaints by mean of finding of fault, repairing/ rectifying the electric defects/ faults related to internal wiring, switchs, sockets, light fittings, fan and all accessories and fixtures maintained by MES. Tightening the loose connections, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) This item covers only cost of labour for attending complaints and taking down of old material. (b) Item required to be replaced under this item shall be measured and paid separately as supply only items. (c) Complaints noted NO LIGHT shall be attend immediately from 0800 Hours upto 2200 Hours without fail, failing which a recovery @ Rs. 240.00 per complaint per day shall be deducted from the contractor's RAR/FB. (d) Minor item such as PVC wire of any size as per requirement upto 1.0 mtr length, thimble, electric tape etc. shall be deemed to be include in the quoted rates of this item. (e) The complaints shall be attendent and rectified within 08 Hours commencing form date and time of notifing the complaint slip, failing which a penalty @ Rs. 220.00 per complaint per day shall be leived/ imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues. (f) Contractor shall be arrange suitable T&P including necessary ladder and scoffolding and safety equipments etc. for safety measures, complete all as specified and directed. (g) Contractor or his rep will report daily at 0900 Hours at complaint shall for collection of complaint from the concerned JE-in-Charge without fail, failing which a recovery @ Rs. 1000.00 per day shall be effected from contractor's RAR/FB. (h) In case after checking and attending the defects, if it is not possible to be rectify the defects within 08 Hours due to any technical reasons, the fact shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-In-Charge by the contractor/ his rep immediately. if Engineer-in-Charge satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will made on this account. Descretion of Engineer-in-Charge shall be final and binding. (j) Labour charges for this item shall be excluded from items which includes M&L, S&F, S&F in repair, S&F in replacement, fixing only, fixing in repair etc. in respective items of this Schedule/BOQ. (k) Approx 4 to 8 complaints are received per day. (l) The electrician should be in possession of mobile and two wheeler for uses of communication and mobility. (m) The contractor will supply and maintain complaint docket book/ complaint slip for each complaint after rectification of fault/ complaint on complaint slip duly signed by user and JE and the same will be handed over to MES Rep.

Taking down carefully existing surface / concealed unserviceable aluminium / copper Point wiring (light, fan, socket, power or sunken box) complete including fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, bracket holder, boards, light fittings etc. and making good to disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, ceilings etc. where required and finished the existing surfaces after complete of new point wiring as specified here-in-after, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down unserviceable submain wiring of any type and any size including wooden batten, PVC conduit or casing caping, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable main switch / DBs of any size and capacity including MCB of any type & capacity for re-use carefully disconnecting and making good to disturbed surfaces to match with existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.
