Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil with hydraulic excavator including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting and un-loading the surplus soil within all leads and lead upto 1 km complete as per directions of Engineer-In-charge.
Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8-12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc with earth or quarry spoils etc. and rerolling the subgrade.
Preparation of granular sub-base by providing close graded material (Grade-III/IV), conforming to specifications mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to work site, for all leads and lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with mechanical means including neatly leveling & dressing on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base /base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG-10 (80/100) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning & preparing the existing road surface as per specifications: a) 0.75 kg/sqm. on W M M. NOTE :- i) Bitumen: For the purpose of tendering, the Contractor may base his rate on the assumption that the bitumen content of the mixture shall be 0.75 Kg/ sqm of bitumen. If the actual quantity of bitumen required to be used as a result of the Mix Design is found different from the quantity of bitumen that is assumed above, necessary adjustment in the cost of extra/short bitumen used shall be made as per technical specifications attached and Schedule-F under clause 10 CA (also reffer foot note), or purchase price of bitumen at the nearest IOC/HP/BP/Govt. Refinery, which ever is lower. The procurement price of bitumen (Basic rate plus excise duty/ sales tax/ GST & transportation charges) shall be ascertained by the Engineer-in-charge on submission of documentary proof by the contractor. The rate of bitumen decided by the Engineer-in-charge shall be final & binding. Except adjustment in cost due to variation in bitumen consumption as stated above, no other factor whatsoever shall be considered for adjustment in quoted rates.

Refinery, which ever is lower. The procurement price of bitumen (Basic rate plus excise duty/ sales tax/ GST & transportation charges) shall be ascertained by the Engineer-in-charge on submission of documentary proof by the contractor. Refinery, which ever is lower. Providing, laying & fixing of self adhesive glass Fibre reinforcement grid of High Modulus Fibre Glass of Mesh size not exceeding 12.5mm x12.5mm manufactured by Maccaferri, Saint Gobain, Techfab ( India ) or equivalent.The self adhesive glass Fibre reinforcement after laying over the Runway Pavement shall be pressed fully with a rubber tired roller and glued to pavement surface . The grid being self adhesive does not require tack coat. The longlitudinal overlap should not be less than 250mm and transverse overlap i.e. at the end of the roll should not be less than 150mm . The items should be completed in all respect , to the satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam(DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade (VG-30) Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade (VG-30) shall be taken as 95 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material]. NOTE: i) Bitumen: For the purpose of tendering, the Contractor may base his rate on the assumption that the bitumen content of the mixture shall be 95 Kg of bitumen per Cum of total mix compacted to 100% density in Marshall mould. If the actual quantity of bitumen required to be used as a result of the Mix Design is found different from the quantity of bitumen that is assumed above, necessary adjustment in the cost of extra/short bitumen used shall be made as per technical specifications attached and Schedule-F under clause 10 CA (also reffer foot note), or purchase price of bitumen at the nearest IOC/HP/BP/Govt. Refinery, which ever is lower. The procurement price of bitumen (Basic rate plus excise duty/ sales tax/ GST & transportation charges) shall be ascertained by the Engineer-in-charge on submission of documentary proof by the contractor. The rate of cement applicable shall be the base price of cement as issued by DG (W) or concerned zonal chief Engineer, CPWD or as decided by ED (Engg) if above rates not declared by CPWD as on the last stipulated date of receipt of tender i/c extension if any or the purchase price which ever is lower.

Cleaning of existing joints (expansion, dummy and construction joints) by removing sealing compound by kerosen oil drying with blow lamp and filling with bitumen mix filler of proportion 80kg of hot straight run bitumen 80/100 grade, 1 kg of cement and 0.25 cum of coarse sand all complete etc. as per direction of Engineer In-Charge.
