GE S U 11 2022 23 DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS AND REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN PARTS OF CEILING FANS EXHAUST FANS CABIN FANS AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER AGE EM OF GE SOUTH UDHAMPUR

Repairing of unserviceable light point, Fan point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets or regulator, light fixtures any type , any type MCBs, DB's & all electrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance and making it serviceable in all respect with all replacement of any major part but including small length of wires upto 2.5 sqmm single core (not more than 50 cm), adhesive tape and other connected accessories like screws & washers etc. Work shall also include to check & removal of breakages in service connection /sub main of houses as and when directed. The scope of work shall also include cutting of existing Bakelite sheet to accommodate new wiring accessories like switches, sockets, fan regulators etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- (a) Contractors representative/engineer will report to JE E/M / Engr-in-charge daily at forenoon and afternoon to collect routine/urgent works related to internal electric supply till completion of contract. The contractor will ensure availability of manpower equipped with all sort of petty items such as insulation tape, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc required to accomplish the job including every type of requisite T&P items to his trades man. All routine/urgent jobs received on job slip will be repaired & got signature of user's and will be deposited to JE E/M with in 24hrs. In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 8 hrs after handing over of routine and 2 hrs for urgent works, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(b) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the EIC more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-In-Charge/ JE E/M shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor. The contractor shall attend the job immediately and report to Engr-In-Charge within 12hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine/urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 20 per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW –2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall enforceable as and delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regard shall be final and binding.

(c ) One Complaints slip to be treated as One Complaint irrespective of No. of Repairs mentioned in the same.

(d) Contractor to keep his Electrician ready for Urgent Complaints, During odd hours ( 0600 Hrs to 0900 Hrs and 1700 Hrs to 2200 Hrs ) Other than the Regular complaints during working Hrs ( 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs )

(e) Procurement of Security gate passes of the Electrician , will be sole responsibility of the Contractor

(f) If the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the govt.

Taking down carefully, copper/ aluminum point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete including fitting such as switch, sockets, ceiling rose, pendants socket, fan regulators any type, rectangular board ,light fittings,terminal boxes etc removing materials for taking credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls floors and ceiling complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium sub main wiring of size 2.5/4/6 sqmm from surface/concealed at any height and removing the materials from site and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls,floors roofs etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down Old/ Unserviceable MCCB/MCB DBs TPN / Main Switches by disconnection of electric connection including old unsv MCCBs,MCBs, isolators etc and making good to distrubed surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Point wiring for one light/ fan/bell point controlled by one switch using 1.5 Sq mm FRLS copper conductor cables (multistanded) PVC insulated and unseathed in and including PVC concealed conduit as per site requirement (thickness not less than 1.5mm and 20mm dia), medium grade with Modular sunken boxes & PVC back plate for mounting modular type switches, sockets & regulators etc with front plate modular type including supplying and laying PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 volts coppper conductor cable 1.5 Sq mm as earth wire stranded and conected to earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cutting and making same the wall patchs after laying the wire and conduit using putty, white wash and distamper. The surface should be made smooth using putty and should match exactly with the existing wall finish.

Taking up/down carefully ceiling fans 1200/1400 mm sweep and exhaust fan/pedestal/air circulator Fan/ wall mounted fan any size, any sweep, from various bldgs (Or collecting from MES E/M Store Yard) as directed, opening up for servicing/repairaing , removing dust and dirt ,cleaning fan motor with cotton/waste malmal, washing blades with detergent powder, servicing/Oiling , Lathe work if any required and greasing of fan of any size/type by using approprite grade of oil/grease and Replacing defective parts such as armature, conopy, Fan blade, Ball bearing, Fan down rod, shutter/louvers , MS shaft, bush, bearing split pin, rubber bush , holding clamp, capacitor ,MS clamps, rubber packing, split pins rubber reel etc, for the smooth and satisfactory functioning, and reassembling complete, re-fixing ceiling fan /exhaust fan with proper PVC flexible pipe 20 mm dia, in same position ( or deposited to MES Store Yard ) , connecting to copper flexible cable 40/.0076 size to electrical system and including proper testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: (a). Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items as Supply Only.

(b) On testing after completion of repair , if the proper speed/smootheness is not obtained at Engr-in- charge satisfactory level , the reapiring will be re- done by the contractor at his own costs and the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

(c) The contractor shall maintain/open a Workshop and keep his electrician ready during working Hrs ( 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs ) for repair/rewinding pupose, inside MES store Yard so that all the repairing/ rewinding of Fans will be done in proper manner, MES authorities will not be issued any Fans ,any type, for repaire/rewinding puropse to the contractor for his outside workshop.

Rewinding & Painting (painting with two coats of synthetic asian paints) of AC ceiling fan motor 240 volt, 50 Hz, 1200 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing size including sleeve work, varnishing with ‘B’ class insulation varnish, connection with flexible copper wire 0.472mm dia upto connector block, complete all as specified and as directed. (Motor shall be wound with machine with same No of turns as per existing.)

Rewinding & Painting (painting with two coats of synthetic asian paints) of exhaust fan motor 240 volt, 50 Hz, 300/380 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing size including sleeve work, varnishing with ‘B’ class insulation varnish, connection with flexible copper wire 40/.0076mm dia upto connector block complete all as specified and as directed. (Motor shall be wound with machine with same No of turns as per existing.)
