Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying pipes or foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n.exc 10sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point.

M&L for rectification of existing defective run lead joints including burning and removing the old defective lead joints and providing new lead joints with all required materials and testing the joints for leakages for the following sizes of CI/DI pipes complete all as directed(Note:Earth work shall be measured separately)

M&L for attending break down of pipe line bursting/cracks including excavation in hard / dense soil with the use of Earthmoving machinery / labour and taking out old CI /GI/MS defective / misaligned water pipe line of size 200/150/100/80 mm dia bore carefully after discon-nection of joints to a length up to 8 mtr and create bund with excavated earth and dewatering / bailing out water complete with diesel engine driven pump set and positioning the pipe line after repairs, returning filling and removal of surplus soil / excavated material with the help of excavator / proclainer all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTE : (a) M/L for Lead Joints/ spares / CI /GI specials will be measured and paid separately.

(b) M/L for CI / GI/MS pipe, Specials, lead joints etc will be measured and paid separately under relevant Schedule Items

(c) The rate is deemed to include Cost for tool and plant and transportation required for attending the repair work.

(d) Disconnecting / dismantling/ cutting the existingpipe line is included in the quoted rate .

(e) The rate is inclusive of earth work complete including returning & refilling in any type of strata complete.

(f) The breakdown shall be attended within 4 Hrs of intimation round the clock and time of restoration shall be maximum of 8 Hours. The additional manpower required to complete the job in quoted rate is deemed to be included in the quoted.

M & L for DI fitting as per IS:9523/2000 with inside cement mortar lining (CML) and outside black bitumen coating like tees bend sockets ,collars of any type with rubber gaskets and jointing material complete all as specified for sizes upto 200 mm dia DI pipe line all as directed.

Supply, fixing and laying ductile iron pipe, socket & spigot with bulb type rubber tyton gasket and jointing material as per standard complete of class K-7 of following sizes complete in trenches/ on pedestals etc complete mortar lining (CML) and outside black bitumen coatingetc complete all as directed. Dismantling of old U/S valve pit of size 120x120x90 Cm ( internal dimensions of the chamber) including and removing the debris at a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and M/L for brick massonary with cement mortar with 1: 6 , 23 cm and flush pointing externaly work proceeds in the same mortar complete ( using 30% old bricks & 70% New bricks) complete with the following specifications and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :-(i) 10mm thick plaster internally in CM 1:6.(ii) Flooring 40mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 over 75mm thick hard core of guage not exc 63mm thick. (iii) Angle iron frame 40X40X6mm thick for cover and mild steel 3mm thick cover with locking arrangement,handle and necessary hinges etc, (iv) PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 100mm thick in foundation .(v) Two coat of synthetic enamelled paint to cover internally and externally over a paint of Red Oxide primer.

Taking up and down unservicable CI/DI pipe any type and make with all fittings of size 80 mm to 200mm dia.

Disconnecting the delivery line and providing dummy plate with nut, bolts to avoid water leakages and M&L for taking out vertical turbine pump /submersible pumpset of any make of capacity 20 HP to 50 HP from the tubewell/borewell carefully complete with column pipe for inspecting the condition of column pipe, pumpset & flat submersible cable etc complete all per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. Note:(i) The cost inclusive of necessary T&P of removing vertical turbine/submersible pumpset carefully without any damages to pump, motor, shaft, column pipe and casing. Any damages shall be beared by the Contractor at his own cost. (ii) The rate inclusive of dismanlting of motor of Vertical turbine pump set.(iii) The M/L for repairs to pumpsets/ column pipe/cable if required & measured and paid separately under relevant Schedule.

Lowering vertical turbine pump /submersible pumpset of any make of capacity 20 HP to 50 HP inside the tubewell/borewell carefully complete with column pipe and other connected parts and including replacement of nut ,bolts, washers, gasket of suitable size all per site requirement and rec-connection with delivery line with nut ,bolts, washers, gasket of suitable size all as specified and directed. Note:(i) The cost inclusive of necessary T&P of lowering vertical turbine/submersible pumpset carefully without any damages to pump, motor, shaft, column pipe and casing. Any damages shall be beared by the Contractor at his own cost. (ii) The rate inclusive of re-connection of motor of Vertical turbine pump set.

Strip opening of 3 phase AC submersible motor, taking out burnt winding coil complete and re-winding with PVC insulated super quality water proof winding wire including PVC seal (water proof compound) and thrust bearing as per requirement of existing size and make, re-assembling the motor and testing complete of capacity 20 to 50 HP motor.

Taking out worn out bearing/ bush sleeves from the submersible motor of capacity 30 to 50 HP and providing new stainless steel, turning and polishing of bushes complete including checking of allingment complete in all respect all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of thrust bearing plate along with disc of motor of capacity 20 HP to 50 HP

S & F in replacement of oil seal of motor of capacity 20 HP to 50 HP.

Dismantling the submersible pumping set bowl assembly/motor of any make for carrying out repair and replacement of worn out parts by strip opening with all parts such as bowl casing, impellers, pump shaft, bushes neck ring etc.and machine work such as welding, turing, re-facing where required and replacing of parts of pump of 4 to 9 stages, size 150mm, of capacity 20 HP to 50 HP capacity. Note: - Spares parts and their fixing shall be paid separately under the respective item of schedule 'A'

Supply and fixing submersible cable 16 Sqmm copper 3 core all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing submersible cable 25 Sqmm copper 3 core all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for chlorination treatment with high stable Calcium based granular disinfectant for water treatment, more stable than Chlorine Gas, and stronger than bleachingpowder, and sodium Hypochlorite) packing in 45 kg drum complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out electric squirrel cage induction motor 3 phase 440/440volts 50 C/S 1440/2900 RPM of capacity 3 HP from the existing foundation, transport to workshop for rewinding by using super enamelled copper winding wire of existing wire gauge including other allied items such as varnish tape, sleeve, greasing etc. refixing after testing and commisioning complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item above but of 3 phase 440/440volts 50 C/S 1440 RPM of 5 HP capacity.

Dismantling carefully Non-clog submersible pumpimg set from sewage well of capacity 05-15 HP for repair replacement of spare parts as under including disconnecting CI pipe lines,CI/MS fittings segregation of pump & motor & re-lowering in orginal position after reassembling all parts including connecting CI pipe lines, fittings & re-installation making electric connection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(Spare parts will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch A.

Material and labour for transportation of machinery and heavy duty air compressor to the site of work along with all the required tools and accessories and Development of Tube well by means of pumping by air compressor of minimum pressure 7 Kg/cm, untill sand free and clean water is obtained at optimum yield complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge below :- Note:All mechanical equipment shall be arranged by the contractor and the same shall remain property of the contractor after completion of the job/contract .

Carrying out yeild test and drawn down of tube well and submitting the report all as directed and specified.

Material and labour for cleaning of over head water tank of capacity above 75000 Glns and upto 75000 Glns at 15m to 21 m approx height staging by draining out/bailing out/pumping out the accumulated water at the bottom and removing the complete silt from the sump and depositing and levelling as directed and cleaning the tank with the bleaching powder slurry and wire brush after scrapping the walls and bottom of the tank completely including flushing out inlet/outlet/washout pipes/ valves complete without disturbing the water supply to the area including painting the details of sump capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning on the sump wall and applying one coat of white wash to entire sump internally complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No 142 to 145: The rate quoted inclusive of all safety equipments, T&P for carrying out the repair/working on OH tanks and insurance to persons deployed for cleaning the over head tank. Any unforseen incidents/accidents due to lack of safety norms shall be beared by the Contractor on " No cost basis" without any extra claim from department.

Dismantling old defective flow meter and Supply , install, testing and commissioning of electromagnetic flow meter of size 80 mm dia bore with approx minimum flow range 5.4 Cum per Hr , maximum flow range 217.10 cum per Hr, hastealloy C-4 electrodes material, CS flange with ANSI 150, PTFE lining , digital display suitable for operation on 100 to 230 V AC 50 HZ supply with output 4 to20 mA DC for measuring water fluid .

Dismantling old defective flow meter and Supply , install, testing and commissioning of electromagnetic flow meter of size 100 mm dia bore with minimum flow range 8.4 Cum per Hr , maximum flow range 339.20 cum per Hr, hastealloy C-4 electrodes material, CS flange with ANSI 150, PTFE lining , digital display suitable for operation on 100 to 230 V AC 50 HZ supply with output 4 to20 mA DC for measuring water fluid .

Cleaning/desludging of raw sewage in under ground sump well up to the depth of 4 Mtr inclduing screening chamber and various sewage pumping installation by closing main incoming manhole and pumping out raw sewage to neat drain by using portabale non clog pump set, cleaning of raw sewage sump by manually or mechanically using (spl T&P such as movable sewage cleaning tanker) scrapping inside wall and bottom by steel wire bush to remove raw material and transport it to outside cantonment area for disposal at low lying area up to the distance of 10 Kms at his own arrangment where the sanitary hazard do not take place and as per guidelines of civil authority all as directed for disposal. Thereafter cleaning/washing of interior surface of UG sump using high grade bleaching powder and lime mixed water incl painting with two coat of cement based paint.

Supply & replacement of gear oil C-600.

Material and labour for cleaning of screen and grit chamber of RCC construction of STP of capacity 200 KLD/300 KLD, by bailing out the accumulated raw water at the bottom and removing the complete silt/sludge/dirt from the tank and disposing it away from site as directed, scrapping the tank inner walls and bottom with wire brush and cleaning the tank inner walls and bottom with the bleaching powder slurry completely incl applying one coat of white wash to entire tank externally complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) The rate deemed to be inclusive of T&P and transportation required for disposal of sludge/dirt away from the site.
