REPAIR / MAINTENANCE /REPLACEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE AND CONNNECTED ITEMS FOR OTM ACCN AREA UNDER GE(A) SURATGARH AT SURATGARH MIL STATION

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth, or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, manholes, or laying water supply pipe lines etc. in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down 15mm bore galvanised steel water tubing including connections, fixed in walls, ceiling or laid under floor or laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

All as per Srl item No 4 above but 25 mm dia bore.

Laying only 15mm bore old galvanised steel water tubing including cleaning with & including new fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors in new or old position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- GI tubing retrieved vide item No 4 shall be used under this item.

All as per Srl item No 5 above but 20 mm dia bore. Note :- GI tubing retrieved vide item No 4.01 shall be used under this item.

All as per Srl item No 5 above but 25 mm dia bore. Note :- GI tubing retrieved vide item No 4.02 shall be used under this item.

S&F 15mm bore galvanized steel water tubing medium grade with & including all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors / trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing 100 mm bore, centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends, class K-9, ISI marked, confirming to IS: 8329/2000 blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for rubber gasket jointing / tyton joints inclduing rubber gasket for joint and laid on floor/ in trenches. Note :- . (i) DI fittings shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Pipes shall be laid in trenches already excavated for taking out old GI/CI pipe line. Extra excavation / earthwork shall not be paid.

All as per Srl item No 8 above but 200 mm dia bore pipe.

All as per Srl item No 8 above but 250 mm dia bore pipe.

S&F DI fittings confirming to IS-9523-2000 such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross collar, caps and plugs, blank flange etc. suitable for spigot and socketed pipes.

Welding work and any addition/ alteration, cutting and joining blank flanged to the DI / CI/ GI pipe upto 350mm including suitable nut bolts, washer, rubber gasket complete. Note: Blank flange will be measured and paid seperately.

S&F in replacement Gun metal, gate valve, ISI marked, IS-778, size 15 mm bore pipe with iron wheel head, inside screwed both ends for iron pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 11 above but 20 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 11 above but 25 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 11 above but 32 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 11 above but 40 mm dia bore.

Supply and fix in replacement of 80 mm bore, cast Iron sluice valve, rising spindle type with flanged ends, ISI marked, IS:1486, class PN - 1.6 with stem of stainless steel and gun metal working part with iron hand wheel with nuts, bolts, washers and flange rubber gasket.

All as per Srl item No 12 above but 100 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 12 above but 150 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 12 above but 200 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 12 above but 250 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to sluice valve of size 80 mm bore by removing from the piping network, draining the system as required and refacing, regrinding and replacement of gun metal nut, threading, welding work, finishing work as required to make smooth function of valve and refixing of the same with nut bolts washer with new rubber gasket, gland complete. Note: Rate includes the cost of transportation to civil workshop and back.

All as per Srl item No 13 above but 150 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 13 above but 200 mm dia bore.

Supply and fix in replacement cast iron double orifice Air release valve, ISI marked, IS:14845, PN 1.6 pressure rating with stainless steel floats, size 100 mm bore, having flanged end including nut bolts washers and flange rubber gasket complete.

All as per above item No 14 but for 80 mm dia bore pipe

S&F Cast iron, Non return valve with gun metal seat, PN 1.6, IS:5312 flanged end suitable for 80 mm bore pipe with brass nuts, bolts, washers and jointing with necessary flange ruber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 15 above but 100 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 15 above but 150 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to NRV by removing of size 80/100 mm bore from the piping and replacement with new synthetic leather seat best quality of suitable size and refixing of the same with nut bolts washer and flange rubber gasket complete.

S&F Cast Iron foot valve for 80 mm bore pipe, flanged end / screwed as per IS-4038 with rubber seat with brass nut bolts and washer with flange rubber gasket complete.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 100 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 150 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to foot valve by removing of size 80/100/150 mm bore from the piping in UG sump and replacement with new synthetic leather seat best quality of suitable size and refixing of the same with nut bolts washer and rubber packing complete.

All as per item No 18 above but size 200 / 250 mm bore

Dismantling joint of upto 500 /600 mm bore CI pipe by burning old lead, removing old spun yarn and cleaning the spigot and socketed portion of pipe including supply and filling new lead and spun yarn and testing the joint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Rate includes the necessary earthe work and retruning filling as required. (ii) Old unserviceable lead shall be keept in safe custody as credit.

M&L for replacement of 'D' Joint/ mechanical joint, Ductile Iron, suitable for DI /CI pipe sizes 80/100 mm dia bore including necessary fittings, nut bolts, rubber joint etc inlcuidng necessary excavation work and retruning filling work as required at site and testing.

All as per Srl item No 20 above but 150/200 mm dia bore.

Labour only for disconnecting pumpset from foundation and Electric motors complete and keeping aside for refixing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description and in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Cement concrete in foundations, walls or retaining walls, any thickness, size or shape including buttresses columns, pillars,boundary pillars and posts (including caps and bases). PCC foundation in CM 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded aggregate as per size of common base foundation/standard engg practice as directed by Engg-in-Charge

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, cooler stand 12mm sq guard bar, framework of water tanks and similar works of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-165) etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cutting of PCC, hard standing, WBM, road, for passing of GI/CI/DI pipes upto 350 mm bore and making good surface finish with PCC suitable grade for road complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Old unserviceable/serviceable material retrieved from above mentioned all items shall be deposited in store yard of subdivision by the contractor at his own arrangement. Noting extra shall be paid on this account
