MISC E/M & B/R ITEMS (SCHEDULE 'A' PART VII) EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY ( LOCATION FOR EXECUTION OF BOQ ITEMS ARE 110 BLOCK, CHARARI COLONY & LIVING AREA etc) Drilling pilot bore hole of 250mm dia by reverse rotary rig machine unit in any kind of soil/rock including disposal of surplus soil/ rock to a distance n exc 50 mtr complete all as specified including deploying required rig machinery, T&P, equipments etc. complete including transporting of all materials like rig machine, tools & plants, collection of logical samples (drilling/ cutting) and to maintain drill time log book all as specified to a depth n. exc. 200 M complete as directed. Note :- Incase failure of pilot bore (due to non availablity of potable water/sufficient yield/high iron content etc) boring location to be changed as per direction of accepting officer cost for the trial bore to be paid in respective item.

All as per item No. 7 here-in-before but depth exceeding 200 m but n. exc. 400m. Location for execution of item:-

Reaming of 250 mm pilot bore hole of 250mm dia to 675 mm dia bore step by step in the manner as under to a depth upto 70 m from ground level. (i)250 mm to 350 mm (ii)350 mm to 450 mm (iii)450 mm to 550 mm (iv)550 mm to 675mm

All as per Sl item No. 9 above but to a depth exceeding 70 m and n. exc. 155 m from ground level.

Notes for item No 7 to 13 (a) The following tests are to be carried out and reports as mentioned to be submitted by the contractor which is deemed included in the rates quoted:- (i) Recording the well discharge during drilling by a 90° V-notch. (ii) Recording the water bearing horizon. (iii) Taking the sample of strata at every 3.0m internal and every change in strata and preparation of litho logs based on these samples. (iv) Preparation of drill time log and submitting to deptt. (v) Collection of water samples in bottles for all aquifers encountered. (vi) Carrying out aquifer performance test at constant discharge with drawn down and recovery reading. (vii) Interpretation of data and preparing/ submitting hydro scientific report required for designing of submersible pump. (viii) Yield test as specified.(Paid seperately against item No 24 of BOQ) (b) The range of depth given for boring with a particular dia of drill is not firm and shall be decided on ground by GE as per site requirements. The change in upper or lower limit of depth of boring from ground level with a particular dia of drill will not amount to any deviation and rates quoted against these items is only applicable even if drilling depth varies from Sch 'A' and nothing extra is admissible on this account. (c) Item No. 9 & 13 shall be operated only when sufficient water is available in pilot bore vide item No. 7 & 8. (d) No payment is admissible if any bore is abandoned due to default of contractor. (e) Location of bore well shall be as per CGWB report which is already obtained by dept, copy of report shall be made available to the contractor. (f) After completion of development of bore well, a test report on sample of water to ascertain quality from a recognized institution/ laboratory shall be submitted to GE without extra cost. (g) Verticality test should be carried out by the contractor from authorised agencies and report should be in tolerable limit.

Supply and assembling including jointing, lowering and fixing in position plain mild steel sheet casing pipe 350mm nominal dia, 8mm thick conforming to IS, jointed and welded with coupler rings (welding shall be done through out the circumference of the pipe and coupler rings both sides) including material and labour for two coats of bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Length of each pipe to be provided in casing shall not be less than 2.4 mtrs except where pipe length required is less than 2.4mtr. Pipe shall be approved by GE before lowering.

All as per item No.14 here-in-before but 200mm bore with 5.6 mm to 6 mm thick sheet.

Supply and fix mild steel strainer slotted pipe 200mm nominal bore 5.4mm thick conforming to IS complete all as specified and as directed. Note :-(i) The size of slot shall be designed by the contractor based on aquifierers regularly arranged at the equal distance all around the slotted pipe so as to make the perforation area 15 to 20% of slotted pipe, (including, jointing, welding etc.,complete all as specified in item No.14 hereinbefore) all as specified and as directed. (ii) Length of each pipe to be provided in casing shall not be less than 2.4 mtrs except where pipe length required is less than 2.4 mtrs.

Supply and fixing of socket reducer of size 14”x8” (350x200 mm dia) not less than 14 mm thick fixed at appropriate level including mild steel flat iron 40x6 mm (2Nos) on each joint extended 75 mm on each side complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing bail plug of 10” (200 mm) made out of MS(ERW) pipe 8 mm thickness including 10 mm thick 'U' hook bars and welding and finishing properly complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of well cap suitable for 14” (350 mm bore) including welding and handle fabricated of MS sheet 8 mm thick including threading on top end of last piece of casing pipe left above GL complete all as specified and directed

Supplying and packing washed pea gravel of size 3 mm to 5 mm free from dust, dirt or vegetable matters as per IS-4097, around the linear assembly to the entire depth of bore well complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pea gravel shall be stacked at site and measurement of stack shall be entered in MB with reduction of voids & bulkage portion of pea gravel. Payment shall be made after deduction of voids & bulkage of pea gravel)

Developing the tube well with 600 PSI, 500 CFM capacity air compressor as required until clear water is obtained including transportation, errection and dismantling of air compressor complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl item No. 21 as above but by means of OP unit over pumping unit at the rate 25% above 32 LPS discharge ie 40 LPS consisting of VT pump as required until sand free water is obtained complete all as specified and directed. (Note For item No 21 & 22- Development hours of each bore shall not be more than 30 hours each and log sheet of compressor machine shall be maintained and signed by JE, contractor & Engineer-in-charge.)

M&L wooden strata sample box made out of 18 mm thick pre-laminated particle board and 12 mm thick BWP plywood with 25x25mm aluminum angle 2mm thick overall size of strata sample box is 900 x 400 x150 mm deep with minimum 30 Nos. partition /compartments or more of minimum size 75 x 100 x 100mm deep with front float glass sliding type cover and with aluminum frame around 2 Nos, key hole plate of size 40 x 25 x 6mm thick complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Name of tube well location and strata with depth shall be shown on chart and affixed in strata sample box. (b) Supply strata container (plastic) containing 30 Nos each of 100 grams capacity including filling with sample of strata of soil collected while drilling at 2 m interval or where there is change of lithology shall be provided with strata chart.

Yield testing of the tube well for continuous to 16 hrs all as specified in particular specification and as directed to determine the safe pumping yield of tube well etc. complete all as specified. "Note:- Material and T&P required for testing should be included in the quoted unit rate."

M&L Collection of water sample, carrying to approved analytical chemical laboratory for bacteriological, chemical and sanitary tests after the development of well complete all as desired by department to ensure the water in fit for human consumpution and impurity less than the recommonded PPM as per ministry of health deparment. . Note :- If it is found not upto the standard limit, the film should treat the same with bleaching powder and arrange for pumping out the water till the water becomes bacteria free and fit for human consumption .

Supply, lowering and fixing MS column pipe screwed 150mm bore of class 'C' heavy duty 3.0 m in length having wall thickness not less than 7.1 mm electric resistance welded with MS flange heavy duty on both side confirming to IS and with provn of 8 nos holes welded all around with pipe for rigidness and 4 Nos ribs 10 mm thick including 2 mm thick rubber sheet of suitable length and washer shall be confirming to IS and connecting complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Payment of 3m length MS column pipe shall be treated as Each unit)

M&L Electric logging in bore for continuous process delineation of granular zones as also the quality of ground water including report interpretation complete all as specified. (Note: Electric wire for logging including electric logging machine cost shall be deemed included in "Each Job' nothing extra will be paid on this account and payment will be made only after satisfactory report received and treated as 'Each Job', Failure of electric logging the cost of testing shall not be paid to contractor).

Supply and fix PVC insulated & sheathed 1100 volts grade 3 core submersible flat cable of size 16 Sqmm flat type, multi stranded copper conductor including connection to motor and starter complete including necessary joint with M seal and brass ferrule as necessary all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour M seal joint suitable for submersible cable water proof and with brass ferrules etc., complete for 3 core 16 sqmm copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade all as specified.

Supply and fixing of connecting piece one end flanged and other end screwed duly welded 1.5mtr long MS column pipe 150mm dia bore for connecting column pipe and NRV of submersible pump 125/150mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, commission and test submersible pump set as per IS 8039/2002 and shall be ISI marked, electric driven, 415 V, TP suitable for inside bore well comprising of bronze impellors in CI casing with stain less steel shaft, sleeve etc for 200mm dia bore well discharge capacity 20000 Gallons per hour, discharge head 76 mtr complete all as specified and directed. (Make :-KSB/Kirloskar/Crompton)

Supply, install and testing of high pressure single head gear motored dozing pump of suitable for 20000 to 25000 GPH discharge capacity, line pressure of 3 Kg/cm2 and chlorination requirement from 0.5PPM to 5 PPM with accessories including lead, connecting nuts, injection check valve, clay weight, ferrules, dozing system consisting of 50 to 100 litres PE/FRE tank with lid, level gauge, single phase electric motor and agitator with shaft and blade mounted on tank. Lid must have port hole for pouring grannular chlorination chemical and water when necessary. Lid must have provision for mounting dozing pump on the lid/wall complete all as specified and directed. ( Note:- Liquid end of the dozing pump including accessories shall be of non metallic).

Taking down and refixing and commissioning of liquid based liquid chlorine dosing plant complete with dozing pump, Dosing tank and pipe connection etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only calcium Hypo Chlorite Chlorine content 65% to 70% (Calcium based high strength granular) decomposes clear in water solution, free of foreign matter, the chlorination chemical should contain appropriate quantities of dispersants, corrosion inhibitors to prevent encrustation scaling in distribution chlorination complete all as specified and directed. (Make-Sree Rayalaseema Hi- Strength Hypo Ltd Model Purichlore or equivalent make as per approval of GE). (Note:- Testing report of chemical includes toxicity testing of authorized lab must be submitted by contractor along with chemical)"

M&L centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron pressure pipes 150 mm bore for water with socket & spigot ends confirming to IS 8329/2000 in any length for classification of K-9 suitable for rubber gasket push on with cement mortar lining inside the pipe with outside zinc coating as per IS 8329/2000 complete all as specified and as directed . (Note :- Rubber gasket joint should be included in quoted rate).

M&L cast iron fittings such as bends tapers to pieces( Single or double) branch pieces any type, straight, connecting pieces, socket, collars, caps, plugs, flanges/spigot with nut, bolts and washers up to 150mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of sluice valves 150 mm dia class PN-1.6, IS-14846 with flanged ends, stainless steel spindle and iron wheel including nut bolts and rubber packing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing sluice valves 200 mm dia class PN-1.6, IS-14846 with flanged ends, stainless steel spindle and iron wheel including nut bolts and rubber packing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L construction of valve pit chamber 1250 x 1250 x 1000 mm internal dimensions, 6 mm thick MS sheet cover with 2 Nos MS hinges welded to angle iron frame of 40x40x6 mm thick with lifting hook and locking arrangement complete with necessary excavation & earth work, brick work with sub class 'B' bricks old size in CM (1:6), 230 mm thick, PCC bed (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick, 15mm thick redndering in CM (1:4) finished even & fair and applying a coat of black bituminous paint to the steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY Supply, laying, jointing, testing & coimmisisoning in trenches, ducts or fixing in wall or passing through pipe XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised stirp or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 70 sqmm, 3.5 core suitable for earthed system complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.5 m deep below GL) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of GI or steel connected to earth test point, earth pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 03 Nos TMT bars 8mm dia both ways all as shown in electrical plate No-3 of SSR Pt-I work includes for necessary excavation earth work PCC pit and RCC cover, funnel salt ,charcoal dust, GI water pipe 20 mm dia & protection pipe 40 mm, dia light grade for strip complete all as specified and directed.

INTERNAL ELECTRIFCATION M & L concealed point wiring on wall and surface wiring on ceiling/roof/trusses with necessary fixing arrangements with PVC-FRLS insulated and unsheathed copper multistranded conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 volts grade drawn in and including rigid metallic MS conduit 16 SWG ISI marked not less than 20mm dia with all conduit accessories/ fittings such as junction boxes, bends, tee, elbow etc including anodized MS sunken boxes made out of MS sheet of thickness not less than 1.6 mm with earth dolly covered with bakelite laminated sheet 3mm thick, ISI marked for mounting of switches / sockets, fan regulators with brass screw and cup washers including PVC-FRLS insulated and unsheathed copper multistrand conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 volts grade for continuous earthingcomplete all as specified and directed for the following :- (a) One light /fan point, controlled by one, one way switch

(b) All as per item No 45 here-in-before but for one 5/6 Amp socket point controlled by one switch on independent board.

(c) All as per item No 45 here-in-before but for one 5/6 Amp socket point controlled by other switch on same board.

(c) All as per item No 45 here-in-before but for for power point wiring 2.5 Sqmm PVC-FRLS insulated, unsheathed, copper conductor, multistranded 1100 volt grade cable and 1.5 Sqmm PVC-FRLS insulated, unsheathed, copper conductor, multistranded 1100 volt grade cable as continous earth lead.

S&F ceiling fan 1200 mm sweep 5 star rating complete with down rod and accessories (without regulator) and electrical connections with 3 core coppper cable 1.5mm sqmm from ceiling rose to fan complete all as sspecified and directed. (Make- HAVELLS Model PACER or equivalent in other makes given in Appendix 'B' duly approved by GE).

S & F factory made epoxy powder coated Distribution Board SPN 4ways ( SPN MCB DB ) with metal door ( IP-43 protection ) fabricated from minimum 1.6mm thick CRCA sheet and fixed flush to wall and suitable for universal mounting and including 200 Amps copper bus bar, neutral bar, standard DIN rail, Earth bar and cable ties for cable management, top and bottom removeable gland plates with Knockouts and in concealed position complete all as specified and conforming to IS : 8623 complete all as specified & directed.

S & F MCB SPN, 63 Amps, 240 Volt, 50 Hz, AC made from moulded self-extingushing thermostat plastic and suitable for 'B' curve, 10 KA breaking capacity complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 48 here-in-before but SP 06 to 20 Amps

M&L sub main wiring with two runs of single core PVC - FRLS 2.5 Sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated and unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade, drawn in and including rigid non metalic PVC conduit, ISI marked medium grade not less than 20mm dia including all necessary fittings and accessories such as tee, bends, reducers, elbow, bell mouth, tube ends and all fitting accessories such as couplers lock, nuts, saddlers, pipe hooks etc fixed porperly on as in concealed position on wall and surface position on ceiling (roof/trusses including cutting chases) and including one run of PVC insulated and unsheathed single core PVC -FRLS cable with copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm as earth wire (green in colour ) run through MS rigid conduit and connected to common earth dolly , including making good disturbed surfaces to match with existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
