NOTE FOR ALL THE ITEMS OF BOQ Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows:- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (b) Work will be executed on site in different User Units/Md accns of GE (East) agra including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (d) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.

DINING CHAIR (FD-16(M)/203/279) :- Removing of old u/s parts and S&F in repair following part with 1st class hard wood (teak) as per existing shape and size duly planned and finished as shown on drawing complete all as specified and directed:-

Cabinet box complete with vertical and horizental partitions made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply)) over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm ( Make: Greenply/Archidply/Century ply) of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade as per drg.

Cabinet door made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply)) over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm ( Make: Greenply/Archidply/Century ply) of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive for both sides all as directed by GE/EIC and drg. SS Piano higes shall be used for fixing. Lock (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) and CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) be provided in Cabinet all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides shall be of 1st class teak wood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) and CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Duco paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces except front of drawers.

Base Frame structure to be made complete with 25mm dia PVC shoeall as specified and as per drg.

Taking down old U/S top of table bed side and S & F new top made of 16 mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade Make : Archid/Centuery/Novopan ISI marked one side teak face and other side balancing white as per exisiting shape and size including standard PVC edging (min thickness 1.6mm) shall be provided all round in tops as per existing shape with headless nails complete.

Taking down old U/S and S & F new upper drawer as per existing shape and size front of drawer shall be 12mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade make : Archid/century/greenplt and sides and back of drawer shall be 12mm thick commercial plywood BWR quality Make : Kitply/Greenply and bottom of drawer shall be provided with 6 mm thick commercial plywood BWR quality as per existing shape and size complete.

Men & Labour for polishing of two coats of melamine polish of best quality to the table after preparation of old surfaces as specified and as directed.

CHAIR COMPUTER MAP (FD/E6/MAP/01) :

Removing of old tapestry cloth and S&F of new tapestry cloth with best quality costing not less than Rs 200/- blue in colour per RM as per approved sample including replacement of foam cushion Make : Sleepwell/Kurlon, tightening/replacement of the UNSUV hand rest of the chair with new material, including provn of 25mm thick foam on seat and back complete all as directed. Foam shall be 32mm density including tightening of loose members of chair all as directed

Removing of unserviceable wheels and S&F new wheels as per existing complete all a s directed

Removing of unserviceable hydraulic system and S&F hydraulic system as approved by GE complete all a sspecified and directed

Removing of all dust,rust etc and M&L for painting with one coat of enamel paint(spray painitng) complete make :Asain/Berger all as specified and directed

CHAIR WRITING (MAP) (FD/E6/MAP/12) :

Taking out old/unserviceable seat and supply and fix new seat of suitable size made of 12mm thick hot pressed ply wood with fabric of good quality and moulded polyurethane foam with PVC tipping all around complete al as shown on drawing

All as per item No 15 (a) above but unserviceable back complete.

Taking out old broken/u/s arm rest of chair writing steel and supply and fix new arm rest made of plyurethane and rein forced with MS insert and shall be hard scratch and weather resistant.

Preparaton of old painted suraface by scraping & rubbing and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (black) to MS tubler frame of chair writing (MAP) complete all as specified & directed.

Bin Linen Multipurpose (FD/E6/MAP/09)

Cabinet box complete with vertical and horizental partitions made of 18 mm thick prelaminated partical board (Make: Greenply/ Archidply/ Century ply) as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm prelaminated partical board as per drg.

Heavy duty Revolving Nylon double wheels as per drg.

Cabinet door with CP fancy knob (Sample kept in BSO yard) made 1st class teak wood. SS Piano higes shall be used for fixing all as directed by GE/EIC.
