ANNUAL MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS 220 KV AND 132 KV TRANSMISSION LINES UNDER ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION DIVISION-II, MORADABAD

The following work are to be carried out at ETD-II, Moradabad.

Regular Tower to Tower ground patrolling and Tower top patrolling wherever required of following 220/132 KV Transmission Lines, detecting of faults like missing/theft tower members, puncture disc insulators/polymer string, dislocation of vibration damper/damage conductor/earthwire, checking of foundation & position of tree in coridor of 27 meters of line, patrolling shall be done on Quarterly basis i.e 4 times in 01 year. i) 220 KV Moradabad-Rampur Line upto LILO Tower at Rampur 40x4=160 km ii) 132 KV Moradabad-Meerganj Line (via 132 KV S/S Gulabbari & 132 KV S/S Rampur) upto Tower No. 166 (LILO point) from Moradabad side. 42x4=168 km iii) 132 KV Agwanpur-Amroha D/C Line 41x4= 164 km

Submission of Patrolling report on prescribed computerized performa in 5 Set. (One set consisting of all 05 Nos.) after each patrolling (4 times in one year)

looping, chopping and cutting of trees & branches girth in the 27 meters for 132 KV lines and 35 meters for 220 KV Lines corridor and stacking of above trees at proper place far from the lines.

Fixing of missing/badly rusted tower parts on the above lines of different type of tower including, cutting, fabrication of angle irons as per actual requirement at site then fitting of fabricated tower inplace of missing tower parts on different tower with bolts and nuts. This work also include the carriage of angle iron from concerning JE's store of ETD-II Moradabad to actual site of work and return for surplus iron from site to JE's Store of this division. Angle iron, nuts & bolts, will be provided by the department free of cost.

(a)- Strenghthing of damage jumpers at tension tower.

(b)- Replacement of damage jumpers at tension tower.

Replacement of damaged/puntured polymer/disc insulator string at different tower location including cartage of material from JE's store to site of the above lines. All the manpower T&P shall be arranged by the contractor for completion of work

i) For suspension string

ii) For tension string

Strenghthing of earthwire/OPGW including replacement/tightenting of suspension clamp as per site requirement.

Cleaning of nest from the tension tower insulators & cross arm of suspension tower formed by birds.

Emergency patrolling of above lines during tripping/line fault to detect the exact fault location & type of fault. Note:- Contactor will provide Patrolling Gang, T&P, vehicle etc. The same should be available 24x7 within 08 KM from head quarter of ETD-II Moradabad during the contract period.

Repairing of damaged ACSR Zebra Conductor by jointing with repair sleeves, MS joints including lowering down of conductor and restringing of same with all associated work to complete the job satisfactory.

Repairing of damaged ACSR Panther/Wolf Conductor by jointing with one number repair sleeve including lowering down of conductor and restringing of same with all associated work to complete the job satisfactory.

Attending breakdown of line due to broken ACSR Zebra Conductor by jointing it with mid span joints/dead end compression joints including lowering down of conductor and compressing of mid span/dead end compression joints and restringing of the same upto 2.5 Km.

Attending breakdown of line due to broken ACSR Panther/Wolf Conductor by jointing it with mid span/dead end compression joints including lowering down of conductor and compressing of mid span/dead end compression joints and restringing of the same upto 2.5 Km.

Attending breakdown of Earth Wire/Tightening of loose Earth Wire upto 01 Km.

Thermovision scanning by high resolution infrared camera (min. resolution 240x320) using telephoto lens of 7-14 degree (min. distance 150 Mtr.) of all section tower jumpers of line including all midspan joints/repair sleeves and shunts during load condition under ETD-II Moradabad & providing report in hard copy & soft copy format of above lines. (Once in a Year as per instruction of Supervising Engineer)

Removing of Kite Strings/Chinese Manjha from 132 KV Moradabad-Gulabbari Line, 132 KV Moradabad-Rampur Line Circuit-II and 220 KV Moradabad-Rampur Line. (Per Ckt KM)

Strengthning of zebra/panther/wolf conductors through shunt by using appropriate nos. & suitable size PG Clamps.

Note :- Nuts, Bolts, tower members, conductor / earthwire & all hardware / Accessories will be provided by department free of cost & the same will carriage, loading and unloading by the contractor at his own cost.
