MTPS I O circle Chemical Division Engaging external agency on works contract basis for various analysis work of coal oil ash water and hydrogen flue gas samples at chemical laboratory analysis works

ii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Bunker Coal Collected from all four units and coal samples collected from Wagons. (ii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Fly ash & Bottom ash from running units. (iii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of MOT oil samples for moisture & sediments from all the units. (iv) Testing works related to sieve analysis of pulverized coal samples. (V) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Mill gear box oil & BFP oil from all 4 units. (vi) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Furnace oil, HSD, LDO, Transformer oil and Oil samples from other stations of TNPGCL.

i) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Raw Water and Cooling Water. ii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Residual chlorine in Cooling water from fore bay I & II and Cooling tower I to IV. iii) Testing of Ash dyke water and Testing of effluents from Ash dyke, DM plant, Stores area, canteen, surplus locations. iv) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Hydrogen gas moisture in all Units. v) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Stack emission in all the units and ambient air quality.vi) Preparation of various reagents for day to day analysis daily. Vii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the check measurement of Bulk chemicals procured for Water treatment plant and Boiler Water treatment on receipt of the material at site. viii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Deposit & water samples received from out Stations (Hydro stations) of TANGEDCO. ix) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Iron & Copper in Feed water, CBD and Stator water samples in all Units. x) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of silica, phosphate and organic matter in Raw Water and Fore bay I & II.

i) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Free minerals acidity and total hardness once in hour from running Strong Acid Cation bed ii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the analysis of Co2 once in a shift in SBA inlet water. iii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Silica once in two hours in SBA and MB outlet water. iv) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Silica, conductivity and pH once in an hour in DM water when the DM pump is in service to the running units. v) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of pH and conductivity once in an hour in WBA, SBA and MB outlet. vii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the complete analysis of Filter water once in a shift of both Water treatment plants I & II.

i) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of pH, conductivity, Hydrazine, Ammonia, Chlorides, Silica in MCP, Feed tank, Feed Economizer once in two hours. ii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Dissolved oxygen once in a shift in Feed economizer. iii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of pH, conductivity, PV, MV, Chlorides and Phosphate once in two hours in CBD Drum water. iv) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of flue gas and Purity of Hydrogen gas once in a shift .v) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of pH, conductivity, Ammonia and Silica once in two hours in saturated and super-heated steam. Vi) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Hydrazine in CST and testing of steam purity during light up. vii) To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of Conductivity and pH in Stator water once in a shift.

i) To assist Junior chemist during the check measurement of Sulphuric acid procured and to assist Junior chemist in maintaining the pH of the cooling water system during Sulphuric acid dosing in general and shift duties. To assist the Junior Chemist during the testing of pH once in an hour in cooling water from Fore bay I & II while sulphuric acid dosing.
