I. PUMPING MAIN Cutting open B.T. Road or macadam road for laying water main / sewer lines and stacking the usable materials on road side for reuse in road works.

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead - nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Dismantling cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead - Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (including equivalent design mix)

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc.including excavation for sockets,and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m -all kinds of soil - pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80mm dia. but not exceeding 300mm dia.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.- All work upto plinth level -1:5:10 (1 cement:5coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.- All work upto plinth level -1:2:4 (1 cement:2coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Brick work with FPS bricks of class designation 35 in foundation and plinth in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

20mm cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1cement : 4 fine sand)

Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform - Using steel sheet with M.S.frames

Providing, hoisting and fixing upto floor five level precast reinforced cement concrete work in string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks, plain window sills and the like including the cost of required centring, shuttering, finishing smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) on exposed surfaces complete but excluding cost of reinforcement with 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C.work including straightening , cutting , bending , placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level - Thermo -Mechanically treated bars (TISCON / VIZAG / IISCO / SAIL / JSW) Fe - 415 or more

Providing and laying Ductile Iron socket and spigot pipes of class K7 (Electro steel/ Lanco/ Jindal/ Electrotherm) conforming to IS specification 8329/2000 and ISI marked suitable for tyton /push on joints in good condition including transportation of D.I.pipe from production centre/company to the site at Puducherry, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment etc.,complete all as per IS 12288 and CPWD specification. (earth work and jointing of pipes with rubber gasket will be paid separately) -300mm dia.

Providing flanged joints to double flanged C.I./D.I. pipes and specials including necessary bolts, nuts, rubber insertion and testing of joints etc.,complete - 300mm diameter pipe.

Providing and fixing in position S&S standard D.I. specials (Electro steel / Lanco / Jindal / Kiswok) such as tees, bends, collors, tapers, caps etc. conforming to IS specification 9523/2000 and ISI marked - 100 to 300mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position flanged standard D.I. specials (Electro steel/Lanco/Jindal/Kiswok) such as tees, bends, collors, tapers, caps etc.conforming to IS specification 9523/2000 and ISI marked - 100 to 300mm dia.

Threading of CI / DI pipes suitable for fixing flanges including transportation, labour charges etc., complete - 300 mm dia.

Providing and fixing D.I. MJ collar coupling, with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc., complete - 300 mm dia.

Providing and jointing cast iron / D.I. (S&S) pipe joints with rubber gasket (Tyton joints) conforming to IS No. 5382 and 12820 of EPDM quality including the cost of fixing, testing the joints etc., complete -300mm dia.

Providing lead caulked joint to spun iron or C.I./D.I. pipes and specials including testing of the joints but excluding the cost of pig lead - 300 mm diameter pipe.

Supplying pig lead at site of work.

Providing and fixing C.I. Ball type non return valve (PN 1) conforming to IS 318 & IS 1363, with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc., complete (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately) - 300 mm dia.

Providing and fixing C.I. sluice valve (PN 1.6) (with handwheel) conforming to IS 14846 and ISI marked, with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc., complete (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately) - 300 mm dia.

Labour for cutting C.I. pipe with steel saw:- 300mm diameter C.I. pipe.

II. Rectification of Roads Earth work in excavation in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m. including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50m - all kinds of soil.

Providing and laying sand gravel mix 1:1 of 150mm consolidated thickness using 0.68cum of sand & 0.62cum of gravel for 1cum finished to a soaked CBR value of minimum 20 including cost and conveyance of sand and gravel to the work site and stacking to the standard departmental gauge for premeasurement, mixing the required quantities of sand and gravel, spreading watering and consolidation the mix by power roller rolling to achive the required proctor density including the labour charges for mixing, spreading, hire and fuel charges for power roller and all other tools and plants employed etc., complete. As per clause no 401 of MOST specification.

Cleaning the site by removing the slushy soil on both the sides of road and making the road fit for laying WBM and making smooth surface for vehicular traffic including disposing the same within 2 Km lead.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth three wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite Crushable type such as moorum / gravel for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by manual means - Water bound macadam Gr-I with Gravel screening. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type B 11.2mm stone for screening / gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by manual means - Water bound macadam Gr-II with stone screening 11.2mm metal. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type B screening and binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by manual means - Water bound macadam Gr-III with type B 11.2mm screening. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Cleaning the existing W.B.M. road surface including removing of binding material and other foreign matter with wire brushes and small picks, sweeping with brooms or soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment. As per clause no 502.4.2 and 503.3.1 of MOST specification.

Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface, heating bitumen in boiler and spraying the bitumen with sprayset fitted on bitumen boiler - on granular base such as WBM and WMM surfaces not bitumen primed. Rate of application 10kg/10sqm.

Providing and laying open graded premix carpet 20mm thick on prepared surface in a single course as wearing course composed of specified size of stone aggregates premix with a bituminous binder in mini hot mix plant 6 to 10 tonne laying manually and rolling with power roller 8 to 10 tonne but excluding cost of primer/tack coat. As per clause no 509 of MOST specification.

Providing and applying premixed seal coat type `B' comprising of thin application of fine aggregate premix with bitumen binder in mini hot mix plant, carriage manually of mixed material and laying and rolling with power roller 8 to 10 tonne. As per clause no 513 of MOST specification.
