Repairing work of existing 1 Major and 7 Minor Bridges on Vadkhal Alibag NH166A km 0.00 to km 22.200 in the State of Maharashtra

Removal of Vegitation/Plants:- Removal of entire root inside the bridge portion. Remains of the root shall be treated with special chemical Steripure MBT 20. Top 50 mm shall filled with high strength grout including cost of all material, machinery, labour, scaffolding, etc.as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cuplocktype)on the exterior side of building /structure, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mmdia M.S.tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S.Tubes, M.S. tubechallis, M.S.clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc.and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and /or pointin and /or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc,wherever required, iffeasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc.,complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:-(1)The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.(2)The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

Providing and fixing Jute Kantan (Tarat) screen to the scaffold-ing for external guniting as directed including removing the same after the work is over etc. complete.

Providing and constructing Cofferdam as per drawings and directions of Engineer-InCharge, consisting of barrier made out of sandbag piles & interstice filled with locally available puddle clay / mud or other impervious materials. The cofferdam shall have a minimum top width of puddle clay barrier of 1.5 m & side slopes of 1:1. Work shall include providing sand, puddle clay, empty jute or polyester woven bags, filling the bags with sand / clay conveying to the position required placing them systematically with clay filling in the gaps as may be required, maintenance of the cofferdam during the progress of the work and dismantling the same and conveying all the materials used in cofferdam to the place of disposal, all works to be carried out as per the instructions & direction of Engineer-in-Charge, with all labour and materials complete. (Rates excluding GST)

Surface cleaning : cu slag blasting for cleaning of RCC and stone masonry surface before repair works to ensure good bond for repair product and coating systems application including cost of material, machinery etc complete

Repairing of honey combed or spilling area by chipping out the damaged spalled or honey combed portion of concrete up to rusted rebars, cleaning of all rust, scale and loose materials, scaffolding, compressed air machinery etc. complete. (item includes use of air compressor, chipping machine and scaffolding for height 8 to 10 meter)

Providing &applying One coat of Alkaline Rust converting primer conforming to ASTM-B117, to exposed existing rebars after removing & cleaning loose rust by wire brush and leave it for 6- 8 hours.

Providing and applying anticorrosive treatment with epoxy zincrich primer to the exposed reinforcement after cleaning either with wire brush or sand blasting including all tools, tackels, machinery etc. complete.

Providing and application of hitech concrete penetrating, water based, organic, Bi-polar, calcium nitrite free, migratory corrosion inhibitor on concrete surface having Ph 9.5 which migrates to a virtual extent of 100 mm inside concrete through pores, to inhibit the corrosion process on embedded steel at both anodic and cathodic ends by de-passivating the Electro-chemical reaction in that region thereby protecting rebar on all sides.

Providing, drilling and fixing Nipples for pressure injection grouting of polymer cement grout etc. complete
