| 1.01Note-(i) Items from 1(I) to 1(V) shall be considered as one item of Solar PV plant and cost of these items are deemed to be included in the above Item No.- 1. | 1.02I (A) Solar PV Module (i) Solar modules not less than 500 watts each as per detail technical specifications mentioned as under: (ii) Modules should have efficiency of not less than 20% and the fill factor should be above 75% with cell and module both manufactured in INDIA. | 1.03(xxi) Material Warranty: (i) The contractor should warrant the Solar Module(s) to be free from the defects and / or failures specified below for a period not less than 10 (ten) years from the date of completion of work. He will obtain similar warranty from the original manufacturer and will submit the same to the GE (MIS) Mhow. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty which shall include (a) Defects and / or failures due to manufacturing (b) Defects and / or failures due to quality of materials (c) Non conformity to specifications due to faulty manufacturing and / or inspection processes. (xxii) Performance Warranty: PV modules must be warranted by the contractor for output peak wattage, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years. He will obtain similar warranty from the original manufacturer and will submit the same to the department. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty. If Module(s) fail(s) to exhibit such power output in prescribed time span, the contractor / manufacturer will be bound to either deliver additional PV Module(s) to replace the missing power output with no change in area of site used or replace the PV Module (s) without claim of no extra cost at the sole discretion of GE (MIS) Mhow. An amount as detailed in Particular Specifications here-in-after shall be held against as security deposit. | |||||||||
| 1.04II) Module Mounting Structure (i) Supply and Installation and comissioning of Ballast type solar module mounting structure (ii) Material : Mild steel structure, Hot Dip Galvanised of 80 micron thick/Aluminium 6063-T6 as per ASTM, corrosion resistant. Galvanization shall conform to IS-2629, 4759 & 4736 as applicable.The fasteners shall be stainless steel to fix with the modules and with pre fabricated PCC Bricks. The contractor shall submit the design, length, section, detailed layout etc. of the structure. (iii) Minimum Module ground clearance should be 100 mm. (iv) The structure should be capable of withstanding a wind load of 180 km/hr after installation of pre fabricated PCC blocks of required size. (v) PCC blocks should comply with IS 2185-1 (2005) (vi) The tilt angle is kept at 8-10 degree or as per site requirement , module orientation is landscape type. IS 875: Part 3 - 2015 for the design loads for Buildings and structures- Wind Loads (vii) The array structure shall be grounded properly using maintenance free earthing kit (viii) All fasteners are to be used of SS304. (ix)The mounting structures of solar PV modules, electrical works and overall workmanship of the grid solar power plant up to inverter must be warranted for a period minimum 05 (Five) years. If all the items fails to conform to this warranty, the contractor/ manufacturer will repair or replace the items at their own expenses. | |||||||||
| 1.05(III) Power Conditioning Unit (On grid Inverters) :- (i) Supply and Installation and comissioning of Solar Grid Connected inverter of capacity not less than 50 KW, 3 phase, 440 Volt, AC operated, 50 Hz, outoor type with following features complete all as technical specis as specified and directed in the Anexure-2 Make : Delta/ABB/SMA/Polycab/Huawei/Solis/ Sungrow (ii) The Power Grid should have the following salient features :- (iii) The PCU / inverters should be tested from the MNRE approved test centres / NABL / BIS / IEC accredited testing-calibration laboratories. (iv) The charge controller (if any) / MPPT units environmental testing should qualify IEC 60068-2 (1, 2, 14, 30) / Equivalent BIS standard. The junction boxes / enclosures should be IP 65 (for out door) / IP 54 (indoor) and as per IEC 529 specifications. (v) Built-in meter and data logger to monitor plant performance through external computer shall be provided.(vi) The power conditioning units / inverters should comply with applicable IEC / equivalent BIS standard for efficiency measurements and environmental tests as per standard codes IEC 61683 / IS 61683 and IEC 60068-2 (1,2,14,30) / Equivalent BIS Standard (vii) Economical requirements:- (a) Maximum efficiency >98%. (b) Opti trace MPP tracking for best MPP tracking efficiency. (c) Active temperature management with Opti cool. (d) Bluetooth communication. | |||||||||

| 1.07(IV) SOLAR DC CABLES (i) Supply laying and testing Solar DC copper cables multi stranded conductor, XLPE or XLPO insulted, IR/UV protected conforming to TUV 2 PfG 1169/08.2007 as per the technical specification mention in Annexure - 3 of size not less than 4 sqmm and maximum voltage drop shall be limited to 2%. The solar cable shall be laid for interconnecttion of PV modules, PV modules to DC DB and DC DB to inverter. | 1.08(V) DC DISTRIBUTION BOARD (i) Supply and installation of DCDB for 50 KW plant as per the specification mention in Annexure -4. (ii) The DC distribution box shall be of the thermos-Plastic with UL 94 for fire safety and SS fasteners IP65 DIN-rail maintaining type .(iii) DC surge protection devise (SPD), class 2 as per IEC 60364-5-53 (iv) The fuses IEC/ equivalent BIS standard should comply with applicable IEC/ equivalent BIS standard for general safety requirements for connectors, switches, circuit breakers, low-voltage switch gear as per standard codes IS/IEC 60947 (Part 1, 2 & 3), EN 50521 . (v) Number of DC SPD with specification : 1000 VDC , Up :1.9kv , Imax :40 KA , Ucpv : 585 V DC , Iscpv : 2000 A in DCDB should be EQUIVALENT TO No. of MPPTs in Inverter, number of I/P and O/P in DCDB should be equal to number of string inputs in the inverter (vi) Each string should have DC fuse with specification , I - 15 Amp , 1000 Vdc with DC fuse Holder as per specification 1000 vdc , 30 a ,100ka SCCR as per IEC 60269-2-1,60947-3 , IP 20 on its positive side Note : The number of inputs and outputs in DC DB should be equal to No. of string inputs in Inverter. | |||||||||
| 1.09(VI) AC DISTRIBUTION BOARD :- Supply and installation and testing of ACDBs for 50 KW roof top solar power plant including following components:- (i) AC circuit breaker, 4-pole AC surge protection devise (SPD), class2 as per IEC 60364-5-53 ,AC SPD with specification for 3 phase and 1 neutral ,Uc :335V Ac , Up : 1.5 KV , In : 20 KA , Imax : 40 KA (ii) Each ACDB should be having MFM with Accuracy class 0.5 , panel meter compatible with RS 485 communication compatible with remote monitoring system . (iii) The panel shall be duly wired with suitable size of 1.1kV, PVC insulated cable and terminals shall be brought out for cable connections. 10% spare terminals subjected to minimum one of each rating shall be provided on each distribution switchgear. (iv) 240 V, 15 A, 3 pin industrial socket-outlet with ON/OFF switch shall be provided in each panel (v) The fuses (AC/DC) should comply with applicable IEC/ equivalent BIS standard for general safety requirements for connectors, switches, circuit breakers, low-voltage switch gear as per standard codes IS/IEC 60947(Part 1, 2 & 3), EN 50521 ,IEC 61439-1 IEC 61439 -2 (vi) IEC 62052-11 for Electricity metering equipment (A.C.) - General requirements, tests and test conditions - Part 11: Metering equipment. (a) ACDB 1 IN with 1 Out with SPD, MFM , Indiactors,Circuit Breaker ,15 Amp socket ,IP65 ( suitable for 50 KW AC output) (b) MCCB 4 Pole 125 Amp, 415 V, Breaking capacity -36 kA with extended rotary handle - 1 No. (vii) ESE type Lightning aresstor to protect the all the roof installed with solar modules with counter, mounting structure and Accessories. 5 mtr Height (As per NFC 17 102) suitable for 50 m protection radius all as specified and directed - 1 No. Make: True Power/ Erico/ JMV/ Remedies. (a) The photovoltaic modules, BOS and other components of power plant requires adequate earthing for protecting against any serious faults as guided by IEC 60364. Design, supply, installing, testing and commissioning of grid connected Solar PV plant of 40 KW AC side with 48 KWp DC side capacity to be installed on roof top including ballasted type module mounting structure, solar grade DC copper cable upto inverter, array junction boxes, MC connectors, AC combination boxes, AC distribution board , junction / combiner boxes (including the module junction box, string junction box and main junction box equipped with appropriate functioning safety including fuses,SPD , grounding etc.) with necessary piping system, valves, foundation/staging work, as conditions for Solar Panel comprising of following sub components/sub systems and installation accessories complete including having following features complete all as specified and as directed in the technical specification of tender document and meeting the specifications as given subsequently in Annexures & as directed in scope of work and technical specification.

(xxi) Material Warranty:(i) The contractor should warrant the Solar Module(s) to be free from the defects and / or failures specified below for a period not less than 10 (ten) years from the date of completion of work. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty which shall include (a) Defects and / or failures due to manufacturing (b) Defects and / or failures due to quality of materials (c) Non conformity to specifications due to faulty manufacturing and / or inspection processes. (xxii) Performance Warranty: PV modules must be warranted by the contractor for output peak wattage, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years. He will obtain similar warranty from the original manufacturer and will submit the same to the department. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty. If Module(s) fail(s) to exhibit such power output in prescribed time span, the contractor / manufacturer will be bound to either deliver additional PV Module(s) to replace the missing power output with no change in area of site used or replace the PV Module(s) without claim of no extra cost at the sole discretion of GE (MIS) Mhow. An amount as detailed in Particular Specifications here-in-after shall be held against as security deposit.
II) Module Mounting Structure (i) Supply and Installation and comissioning of Ballast type solar module mounting structure Make : Jackson/Ganges International (ii) Material : Mild steel structure, Hot Dip Galvanised of 80 micron thick/ Aluminium 6063-T6 as per ASTM, corrosion resistant. Galvanization shall conform to IS-2629, 4759 & 4736 as applicable.The fasteners shall be stainless steel to fix with the modules and with pre fabricated PCC Bricks. The contractor shall submit the design, length, section, detailed layout etc. of the structure.(iii) Minimum Module ground clearance should be 300 mm.(iv) The structure should be capable of withstanding a wind load of 180 km/hr after installation of pre fabricated PCC blocks of required size.(v) PCC blocks should comply with IS 2185-1 (2005).(vi) The tilt angle is kept at 12 degree , module orientation is landscape type. IS 875: Part 3 - 2015 for the design loads for Buildings and structures- Wind Loads.(vii) The array structure shall be grounded properly using maintenance free earthing kit.(viii) All fasteners are to be used of SS304. (ix) The mounting structures of solar PV modules, electrical works and overall workmanship of the grid solar power plant up to inverter must be warranted for a period minimum 05 (Five) years as detailed in Particular Specifications. If all the items fails to conform to this warranty, the contractor/ manufacturer will repair or replace the items at their own expenses.

(III) Power Conditioning Unit (On grid Inverters) :- (i) Supply and Installation and comissioning of Solar Grid Connected inverter of capacity not less than 30 KW, 3 phase, 440 Volt, AC operated, 50 Hz, outoor type with following features complete all as technical specis as specified and directed in the Anexure-2 Make : Delta/ABB/SMA/Polycab/Huawei/Havells/ Solis/ Sungrow (ii) The Power Grid should have the following salient features:-(iii) The PCU / inverters should be tested from the MNRE approved test centres / NABL / BIS / IEC accredited testing-calibration laboratories. (iv) The charge controller (if any) / MPPT units environmental testing should qualify IEC 60068-2 (1, 2, 14, 30) / Equivalent BIS standard. The junction boxes / enclosures should be IP 65 (for out door) / IP 54 (indoor) and as per IEC 529 specifications. (v) Built-in meter and data logger to monitor plant performance through external computer shall be provided.(vi) The power conditioning units / inverters should comply with applicable IEC / equivalent BIS standard for efficiency measurements and environmental tests as per standard codes IEC 61683 / IS 61683 and IEC 60068-2 (1,2,14,30) / Equivalent BIS Standard
(vii) Economical requirements:- (i) Maximum efficiency >98%.(ii) Opti trace MPP tracking for best MPP tracking efficiency. (iii) Active temperature management with Opti cool. (iv) Bluetooth communication. (viii) Simple requirements:-(i) Three Phase Grid feed-in.(ii) Cable connection without tools.(iii) DC plug-in system.(A)30 KW INVERTER (1 No.):-(1) Input (DC) (i) Maximum input DC power - 45 KWp (ii) Maximum Input voltage - 1100V (iii) Operating voltage range - 180 V - 1000 V (v) Max. input current - 40A/40A/40A(vi) No. of DC Inputs - 6 (vii)Start up Input Voltage - 200 Volts (2) Output (AC) (i) Max. (V) DC DISTRIBUTION BOARD (i) Supply and installation of DCDB for 30 KW plant as per the specification mention in Annexure -4. (ii) The DC distribution box shall be of the thermos-Plastic with UL 94 for fire safety and SS fasteners IP65 DIN-rail maintaining type .(iii) DC surge protection devise (SPD), class 2 as per IEC 60364-5-53 (iv) The fuses IEC/ equivalent BIS standard should comply with applicable IEC/ equivalent BIS standard for general safety requirements for connectors, switches, circuit breakers, low-voltage switch gear as per standard codes IS/IEC 60947 (Part 1, 2 & 3), EN 50521 . (v) Number of DC SPD with specification : 1000 VDC , Up :1.9kv , Imax :40 KA , Ucpv : 585 V DC , Iscpv : 2000 A in DCDB should be EQUIVALENT TO No. of MPPTs in Inverter, number of I/P and O/P in DCDB should be equal to number of string inputs in the inverter (vi) Each string should have DC fuse with specification , I - 15 Amp , 1000 Vdc with DC fuse Holder as per specification 1000 vdc , 30 a ,100ka SCCR as per IEC 60269-2-1,60947-3 , IP 20 on its positive side . Note : The number of inputs and outputs in DC DB should be equal to No. of string inputs in Inverter.
(VI) AC DISTRIBUTION BOARD :- Supply and installation and testing of ACDBs for 30 KW roof top solar power plant including following components:- (i) AC circuit breaker, 4-pole AC surge protection devise (SPD), class2 as per IEC 60364-5-53 ,AC SPD with specification for 3 phase and 1 neutral ,Uc :335V Ac , Up : 1.5 KV , In : 20 KA , Imax : 40 KA (ii) Each ACDB should be having MFM with Accuracy class 0.5 , panel meter compatible with RS 485 communication compatible with remote monitoring system . (iii) The panel shall be duly wired with suitable size of 1.1kV, PVC insulated cable and terminals shall be brought out for cable connections. 10% spare terminals subjected to minimum one of each rating shall be provided on each distribution switchgear. (iv) 240 V, 15 A, 3 pin industrial socket-outlet with ON/OFF switch shall be provided in each panel (v)The fuses (AC/DC) should comply with applicable IEC/ equivalent BIS standard for general safety requirements for connectors, switches, circuit breakers, low-voltage switch gear as per standard codes IS/IEC 60947(Part 1, 2 & 3), EN 50521 ,IEC 61439-1 IEC 61439 -2 (vi) IEC 62052-11 for Electricity metering equipment (A.C.) - General requirements, tests and test conditions - Part 11: Metering equipment. (a) ACDB 1 IN with 1 OUT with SPD, MFM , Indiactors,Circuit Breaker ,15 Amp socket ,IP65 ( suitable for 30 KW AC output ) (b) MCCB 4 Pole 63 Amp, 415 V, Breaking capacity -36 kA with extended rotary handle - 1 No.
(VII) ESE type Lightning aresstor to protect the all the roof installed with solar modules with counter, mounting structure and Accessories. 5 mtr Height (As per NFC 17 102) suitable for 50 m protection radius all as specified and directed - 1 No. Make: True Power/ Erico/ JMV/ Remedies. Note : (i) Lightning protection should be provided as per IEC 6205 /IS 2309 standard. (ii) To reduce the over voltage to a safe level before it reaches the PV or other sub-system components as per NFC 17 - 102
(VIII) Supply and installation of maintenace free chemical earthing using electrode of size 50mm bore x 3 m long copper bonded and connected with 25X4mm GI strip complete with excavation, earth work, cast iron cover with back fill compound (Chemical/ Back fill compound gel for earthing enhancement -50Kg) complete as specified and directed. - 3 Sets Make : Erico/ Remedies Earthing System/True Power or equivalent Note: (i) IR Value should be less than 1.(ii) Copper stip of size 32mmX6mm including installation 7.5 m (Copper purity not less than 99%) (a)The photovoltaic modules, BOS and other components of power plant requires adequate earthing for protecting against any serious faults as guided by IEC 60364. (b) Each set of chemical earthing to be provided for PV modules & MMS, PCU/Inverter & DCDB, ACDB and Lightning arrestor separately with GI strip of size of 25 x 4 mm. (c) The earthing system shall be designed, in accordance with IS: 3043-1987 and IEEE 80, Indian Electricity Rules, Codes of practice and regulations
(IX) M&L for earth continuity conductor or main GI earthing strip 25x4 mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required galvanised complete all as specified and directed.
(X) Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed single or multi-core flexible copper conductor cable of size 4 core 16 sqmm (From inverter to ACDB) with UV-stabilized outer sheath , 650/100 volts conforming to IS 7098 part - 1/1988 of following sizes : Notes : (i) All cable/wires are to be routed in a GI cable tray and suitably tagged and marked with proper manner by good quality ferule or by other means so that the cable easily identified. Solar cables shall be aesthetically tied to Module Mounting Structure using UV resistant cable-ties suitable for outdoor application. (ii) The total voltage drops on the cable segments from the solar grid inverter to the building distribution board shall not exceed 3.0%
(XI) Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 3.5 core 50 sq. mm (from 50 KW ACDB to LT panel) fixing with suitable clamps on floors/ walls/ roof top all as specified and directed. (XII) Supply and Installation of CPVC pipe as per IS 15778 ,ASTM D1784 , ASTM D2846 specification and standards with water outlet at every 5 meter of Solar module cleaning system , CPVC pipe with 50 mm dia water piping laid through out the solar module array installation with 40 mm outlet fitted with long handle ball valve, one UNION at every 20 running meter to be fitted for easy service and installation complete all as specified and directed.
Note for Item No. 1,2 & 3:- (a) Repair / Replacement of solar modules, mechanical structure of solar module, electrical work and overall workmanship of grid solar power plant upto inverter is already covered under material and performance warranty. (b) Contractor shall submit the shadow analysis of roof considered, design/drawings of roof top solar including all components to the accepting officer duly vetted by NSE/IIT/NIT. (c) Contractor shall submit the technical details, IEC certificates of PV modules, Inverter, DCDB/ACDB. (d) Design structural drawings of module mounting structure alongwith design calculations shall be submitted by the contractor duly vetted from NIT/IIT/Govt Research Institute . The Cost of same shall be deemed to be included in this item.
