SCHEDULE 'A' PART - I Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths,etc. cutting around edges to at least exceeding 30 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings and rolling) complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, not exceeding 1.50 m deep and getting out in hard and dense soil, hard core, soling of roads, WMM/WBM of roads and macadam surface of any description (water bound, grouted, tarmac), complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, exceeding 1.50 m deep but not exceeding 3.0m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in hard/dense soil at side road berms all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 200 mm thick (spread thickness), Soling (or sub base) with broker boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Wet Mixed Macadam (WMM) 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) minimum in two layers of 75mm each with coarse granite stone aggregate of specified grade, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using necessary mechanical paver/ grader and tandem vibratory roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne capacity all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate inserted shall be for 150mm thick consolidated thickness in 2 layers respectively for 150mm thick (each of 75mm thick compacted thickness) (ii) Each layer shall be rolled and compacted separately. (iii) WMM shall be as per MORTH specification complete all as specified and as directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 8 Kg/10Sqm using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping ith brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc over black top surfaces all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a tack coat with hot pressure spray using RS (Rapid Setting) Bitumen Cationic Emulsion conforming to IS-8887/ASTMD-2397@ 5 Kg/10Sqm over Bituminous Macadam/WMM / Black topped surface of existing road all as specified and as directed.

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30 mm (consolidated thickness) in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% minimum binder content mixed by weight of total mix as wearing course, using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. (Note: No Extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for more quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch 'A'.)

Supply and fix raised reflective pavement marker (Cat eyes) made of plastic body moulded from HIPS (Hi- impact polystrene) or ABS plastic conforming to ASTM D type 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A and reflective panels consisting of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable for providing total interal reflection light entering the lens face, with height not exceeding 20mm and length and width 100mm (not exceeding surface shall be 130mm) and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall be 13 Sqmcm on each face and shall preferably be 35 + 5 degree slope to base to face, fixed as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and fix raised reflective pavement markers Solar blinkers studs (Cat eyes) of 6 LEDs made of plastic body moulded from HIPS (Hi-impact polystrene) or ABS plastic conforming to ASTM D type 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A and reflective panels consisting of number of lenses containing single or dual internal reflection of light entering the lens face, with height not exceeding 20mm and length and width 100mm (not exceeding surface shall be 13 Sqcm on each face and shall preferably be 35 + 5 degree slope to base to face, fixed as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for preparation of new existing concrete/bituminous surfaces of roads, runways, pavements and like not exceeding 10cm width and machine painting with 1.5mm thick thermo plastic road marking paint as lines dashes, letters arrowas etc of tint white/golden yellows etc all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Premix Bituminous Macadam (BM) using Paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 4% binder by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using vibratory / pneumatic and tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: 1. Consolidated thickness is 50 mm. 2. Rolling of surfaces including in this Rate)

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation or etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc and not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in with excavated soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC type C2(1:3:6) (Using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry of type B1 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with solid blocks exceeding 10cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement plaster 1:4, including finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of cement base paint on new plastered surfaces on wall over a coat of cement primer including preparation of surfaces, completed all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for boulder pitching laid dry, hand packed tightly and grouted in CM(1:4) all complete and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and lay 900m bore reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3 laid and jointed completed with collars all complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, speading and levelling moorum/red bajri in road side berms, pavings, laid in layers 100 mm thick including watering and rolled and compated to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.
