Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

The tenderer should be a KPWD registered contractors

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of on KPPP Portal or before the last date and time of bid submission.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in MultipleTransaction are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The Tenderer shall obtain the workdone certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer(District Level Officer)and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid.

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason

The Department is not responsible for any delay in accessing e-procurement portal

All materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer himself and should be got tested by the quality control authorities at his own cost before use on work.

All items quoted shall include cost of Royalty charges on constructive materials and other taxes as per the rates prevailing Govt Orders at the time of execution and including all the cost and conveyance of all materials, curing, loading and unloading with all lead and lifts, labour, hire charges of machinary and equipments, etc., complete and all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work.

Department will not supply any materials.

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The Tenderer must be present during opening of tender and submit uploaded documents duly attested by Gazzeted Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and also produce original documents for confirmation at the time of opening.

As per Karnataka State Govt Order No:LD/300/LET/2006/Bangalore Dt: 1-1-2007 and Govt Ltr No:PW/134/BMS/2007, Dt: 27-7-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

The contractors are instructed to submit only relevant information with records as required and specified in qualification criteria. Any junk, superfluous and unnecessary documents if uploaded will treated as misleading and such tenders are liable to be rejected

GST shall be paid to the tendered amount separately.

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delays as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes (excluding GST) as per prevailing Government Orders.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act and applicable any other law as concerned to work. In case of any mishap, accidents are cause of death it is the duty of the contractor to settle the dispute at is own cost. In no way department is held responsible.

The Tender period for completion of work is 3(Three) Calendar months.(Including monsoon period)

Work Specification should be done as instructed by the Site Engineer

Column should be provided as per existing GF Building,. The damaged or cut reinforcement should be repaired (like weld or Anker bolt should be done before costing of column concrete)

The column reinforcement should be provided i.e, 6 no. of 12 mm dia Bar with 8mm dia stripes spaced at 7 inches center to centre

For lintel all-round 5no. of 10 mm dia, 2 at top & 3 at bottom with 8mm dia stripes 8 inches centre to centre

For Beam 6 No. of 12mm dia bar at 3 no. at top & 3 no. bottom with 8mm dia stripes 7inches centre to centre with overall depth of beam is 18 inches. Slab thickness is 6 inches with 10mm for distribution & Main Bar

Payment will be done as per agreed % of work completed

Wall at roof level 20%

After slab casted 20%

Electrical Plastering work 20%

Painting, Rolling Shutter fixing, Railing Work 20%

Fixtures and Final work 10%

Technical Criteria

General

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)

List of existing commitments and ongoing works

List of works for which tenders already submitted

Banker Details for reference

Construction equipment owned by the tenderer and equipment proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Reports on the financial standing of the tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the last five years

Qualification and experience of the key technical and management personnel in permanent employment with the tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Proposals for subcontracting components of works amounting to more than 20% of the contract price (for each, the qualifications and experience of the identified sub-contractor in the relevant fields should be attached)

Past Experience

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. xxxxx Lakhs)
