Granular Sub Base (GSB)

Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical specification clause 401

Providing and laying brick on end edging after removal of existing brick edging complete as per Technical specification clause 412.

Water Bound Macadam Sub-base/base(WBM Grading -II)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type-A/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Water Bound Macadam Sub-base/base(WBM Grading -III)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type-B to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Primer Coat over Granular Base(with emulsionSS-1 Bulk)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) Bulk on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502

Tack Coat (with VG-10 bitumen @ 0.275 kg/ sqm)

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using tar boiler / pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg. per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical specification clause 503

Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam ( with VG-10 bitumen)

Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with continues type HMP producing an average output ot 60 to 90 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-10 @ 4.25 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per NRIDA Guidelines (First Revision-2019) and IRC:67-2012 and drawing. The ACP Plates of 3 mm thick, top and middle plate duly ribbted with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower ACP plate 4 mm will be ribbted with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be ribbted to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. with Retro-reflectorised Tape (Class A/Class B) in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Providing and fixing of road stud 100 x 100 mm die cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling holes 30 mm upto a depth of 600 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS:873 (Part 4) 1973.

Providing and fixing of Delinators (Roadway Indicators) not less than 800mm high above ground level. The delinator shall have a core & shell construction which shallbe madeof tough, high impact resistant, injection - moulded, thermoplastic outer body. Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B at approved locations to control speed and marked with 100mm wide white strips of thermoplastic road marking paint. The close graded premix surfacing material type B shall conform to technical clause 512 and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications
