Demolishing brick bat coba/ Surki with water proofing plaster covering in terracing including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead. brought down from a height of 15metre as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Lead charges by mechanical transport for lead exceeding 2 km but not exceeding 3 km over the initial lead in the direction of location for disposal of soil, soft rock, hord rock, building rubbish, malba, similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials , by mechanical transport, including loading, unloading, stacking \ levelling etc., Deduction for voids shall be as per clause of Earthwork chapter in the specification.

In cement mortar

Providing Brick masonry in sub sutructure / super structure at all floors and locations using well burnt bricks 230mm walls shall be to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Notes for Plastering works: a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shallbe marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.

Providing 20 mm thick Cement plaster in two coats over external surfaces of masonry & concrete surfaces at all heights and levels to correct line, level, plane, plumb etc., finished smooth with neat cement finish, with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

1:4 (1 cement: 4 sand)

Providing 12 mm thick Cement plaster over internal surfaces of masonry & concrete surfaces at all heights and levels to correct line, level, plane, plumb etc., finished smooth with neat cement finish, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

1:3 (1 cement: 3 sand)

Providing & Applying seamless Acrylic based chemical waterproofing system including surface preparation, primer coat, reinforcing membrane and multiple layers of chemical coat, removing the existing damaged w/p treatment, if any, disposing of debris within colony, complete all as per the manufacturers specifications and as directed by EIC, using any of the following waterproofing systems. Approved Brand : 1) Smartcare Damp Proof of M/s Asian paints, 2) Dr. Fixit Newcoat of M/s Pidilite, 3) Brushbond Roof Guard of M/s Fosroc, 4) ShaliCryl® LM HI of M/s STP Limited, all confirming to the following technical requirements, Chemical Properties: As per manufacturer specification.

Over terrace slab, top of water tank and parapet etc. at all levels

Repairing and strengthening of RCC Slab etc. Chasing and hacking the damaged surface providing and welding additional TMT rebar / Weld mesh (if required, payment for the same will be made separately) after throughly sand blasting / sand papering/Rust passivator for remover of duist particals (as required) the existing rebar to make it rust free surface, application of two coats of anti corrosive paint i.e Nitozinc of fosroc or other equivalent to the exposed rebar. The nacessary concreting to be done with polymer modified mortar old-new concrete joining material of NITOBOND or equivalent to be applied as per the manufacturer's specification before concreting. The proper clear cover 15mm to be maintained for slab or matching it with surrounding ceiling plaster surface. this rate is inclusive of necessary shuttring, scaffolding/padding (if external surface) curing for atleast 14 days, all complete as per the direction of Architect. UPTO 15-25 mm depth. (For Slab)

12 mm average thickness.

25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.

Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.

Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of approved brand

Weld mesh of size 50mm x 50mm x 3mm to be fixed and tack welded to the exposed bars & fixed with shear connector before fix the weld mesh throughly sand blasting / sand papering/Rust passivator for remover of duist particals (as required) the existing rebar to make it rust free surface, as per direction of EIC.

Provide 12mm dia 75mm deep holes shall be drilled at 500mm c/c (Staggered) to the shear connectors and cleaned throughly with air/water jet and 8mm dia shall be fixed in the drilled holes using anchor grout of Lokfix L/P/S M/s Fosroc chemicals or approved equivalent make as per manufacture's specification and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc mixing with water proofing compound as per IS : 2645:2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm. Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 100 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement: 5coarse sand) admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300mm height including rounding of junctions of wall sand slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300mm square 3mm deep. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer in Charge.
