SOIL INVESTIGATION OF VARIOUS STRUCTURE AT AF STN HASIMARA

The following works are required to be carried out for soil report for "Addn/Altn/ Improvement to Security Infrastructure alongwith Watch Tower & Associated works” (a) Mobilisation and Demolisation of rotary wash boring rig with all accessories and other necessary tools for boring. (Transportation of T&P with Man & material to site) (b) Soil investigation : Shifting of boring equipment with all accessories from one location to another boring location including all labours and materials (c) Boring 150mm dia in all types of soil up to 6m (or) up to hard starta (Where SPT-N Value>50 or refusal) (d) Carrying out Standard penetration test upto depth 6m of Refusal (N>50) whichever comes earlier. Collection of Samples at different depth for field and lab test including (SPT) as per IS 2131-1963, at site at required depths up to refusal. (e) Drilling NX size Boring up to 1m in to rock and collection of samples in hard rock. (f) Laboratory Analysis : Carrying our laboratory test on collected soil samples and testing on rock samples etc (g) Preparation of Technical report consists of geotechnical investigation data sheets, interpretation of result of lab tests & SBC including recommendation for foundation and submission of reports (6 Sets). The report to include clearly the following parameters : Recommendation of types of foundation for proposed structure with vetted from IIT/NIT or any Govt University : (i) The Safe bearing capacity of the soil. (ii) Whether effect of high water table been considered or not in working out SBC. (iii) Suggested size and depth of foundation for Single storey proposed building. (iv) Type of soil or any other important parameters as per quotation and as required by site condition.
