Amount

Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable, errection of poles and stays etc in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

M & L for Bricks covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 40 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Supply of pipe shall be measured and paid separately (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Supply and fix in replacment for GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia for cable protection on road crossings /plinth protection etc fixed to the pole, wall etc along with suitable fittings for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 4 core 10 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, including taking down of unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells/ Polycab/ RPG Asian Note - Earthwork and bricks to be paid separately in respective items.

Material and Labour for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of poles and mass concrete etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping for poles including necessary form work to exposed surfaces finished smooth and even complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix bracket for street light fitting made out of 40 mm dia light grade GI tubing bent to required shape 1.5m long including necessary GI clamps, nuts bolts and washers and fixing to the pole complete including taking down old or old U/S bracket from the pole complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement weather proof PVC junction box approved by CPRI for street light control box made out of not less than 2mm thick of size 250mm x 200 mm x 105mm (approx) complete with hinged door locking arrangement and consisting of 2 Nos of suitable size cable glands consisting of 01 No. panel mounted connector 4 pole MCB 6A 10KA 01No. including connecting up with the electrical connections and fixing and clamping complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Erecting of Mild steel tubular swaged poles of 9.0 meter long 410, SP-31 complete with cast iron base plate, bracket, finial taper plug, bolt, nuts & screws and painted on both side (internally & externally), external surface painted with two coat of aluminum paint over coat of red oxide primer and painting with black up to 1.5 meter from top of PCC coping white colour paint as in strips of equal width including marking pole numbers with one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tight to base with thermoplastic screw having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of smart street light control system using GSM/Lux based technology having 20 KW 3 phase 64 Amp load capacity per phase and can be operated by IVRS/SMS/lux based infrared sensor etc complete with following:- (i) Nature switch operation should be based on natural light lux level. Require illuminnance level for switching on is ≤ 60 lux and for switching off ≥ 10 lux. The smart unit should have 4 timers that can be set via SMS. (ii) Surge protection device (SPD) should provide protection agaist indirect lightning & switching surges. It should conform to IEC61643-11 and should have 40 KA capacity. (iii) The sensor & SPD along with suitable power contactors and incoming-outgoing MCCB/MCBs should be enclosed in a enclosure made of rust proof, electric shock proof , metal weather proof conforming to IP65 with angle iron frame of suitable size 04 Nos legs 600 mm long , PCC 1:2:4 type B 1using 20 mm graded aggregate for grouting of base including taking down old unserviceable panel. The scope of work also comprising the following :- The GPRS shall have seven segment display to show voltage, current, network and street light status , it should also have indicator for showing supply status , timer , overload or high low voltage. It should also able to measure voltage, current and automatic set street light overload current. Unit have facility to call back to registered number for power on/off and if any fault occurs at site.in SMS it should also monitor power/on/off time light on off time, ampere, voltage, unit mode, network percentage date and mobile number who called device number. The device should also have battery backup with minimum 24 hours backup capacity. The panel should have three operation mode :- 1. GSM mode -in this mode light should be switched as per GSM controller's preset time by user by sms , 4 clock base timer facility should be availble 2. Nature switch based-in this mode light will be switched as per nature light lux level 3. Bypass mode -in this mode light will switched on directly for testing purpose and emeregncy switching .In GSM controller there should be facility to register 4 user by sms/call and alerts will be sent on all registered number and also call back on power on/off and faults on first registered number.The GSM controller should also compatible for cloud based data transmission for interfacing with web for future use, Password protection for Accessing the control of device via SMS/IVRS, complete all as specified and directed including the following subcomponent, supply and fixing features :-

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 Amp by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit, complete including taking down, old U/S pit cover complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Type , Result, Date of measurement and pit number with Black back ground with white letters complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick (99.99% molecularly copper) as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of factory assembled, floor mounted, free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thermoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure shall be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. M & L for 0.50mm thick Pre painted Galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet AZ 150 of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall ,including ridges fixed with self tapping screws all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth,not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate 100mm thick as in sub base of floor, finished even and rough to receive top layer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 40 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate )as in flooring laid in panels, surfaces finished even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- An amount of Rs 44545.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
