Earthing complete with copper plate 60cm×60cm ×3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connecting to copper strip 20mm x 3mm (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of copper and earth wire protected by provision of galvanised iron pipe light grade, 15mm bore including provn of concrete pit in PCC M-15, type B-I using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick precast cover of size 550 mm X 550 mm X 75 mm of RCC M-15, type B-I, reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/ Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia mild steel bar handle made to shape, galvanised iron medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and including earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion.

M&L for chemical earthing with copper strip as per details specified below :- (a) The earthpit shall be of size 1.2m x 1.2m and of depth (minimum) 3.6m. (b) Copper plate 90cm x 60cm x 5mm. (c) Copper strip 32mm x 6mm (cross section) (d) Chemicals of quantity (i) Charcoal-250kg (ii) Salt crystal 200 kg (iii) Magnesium sulphate -100 kg. (e) 25mm dia GI watering pipe medium grade above copper plate filled with funnel wire alongwith cap. (f) Copper strip shall be provided with GI protection pipe of 40mm dia light grade upto test block. Note :- (i) Test result of earth resistance of chemical earth pits shall be less than 1ohm. (ii) Alternate layers of charcoal and salt, five layer each upto top of copper plate after which a 2 inch layer of magnesium sulphate to be laid at top and balance volume to be filled with soft soil (iii) The chemical, salt and magnesium sulphate shall never be mixed but are to be laid in layers only. (iv) Tender's quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth works, removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m construction of PCC pit in (1:3:6) type C2 cement concrete, using 20mm graded stone aggregates, RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 pit cover with MS handle testing complete all as specified and directed

Copper strip 20 x 3.15mm on abonite blocks and saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof/wall/tower conductors and down conductors o wall/roof/tower above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Copper strip 32x6mm on abonite blocks and saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof/wall/tower conductors and down conductors o wall/roof/tower above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long, complete all as specified.

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexognal head screw complete all as specified and directed
