REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE DUCTING, GRILL, DIFFUSER, NITRIL INSULATION, UNDERDECK INSULATION AND COMPREHENSIVE MAINT OF HOT WATER GENERATOR THROUGH OEM AND CONNECTED MISC E/M WORKS AT BASE HOSPITAL UNDER GE (E/M) BHDC-10

Comprehensive maintenance including replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts/ fittings of Hot water Generators (Make: Rapid Cool) - (02 Nos) complete all specified and as directed. Contractor shall be responsible for repair and replacement of all the defective parts of complete hot water generator including pipelines and connected infrastructure and connected accessories during entire contract period. Replacements of all defective/ unserviceable parts and periodical painting, fabrication work, if any required to maintain smooth functioning of equipments, control and power wiring etc required for smooth functioning of 02 Nos equipments during entire comprehensive maintenance period shall be included in rate quoted by the contractor.

Notes:- (i) Rate quoted by the contractor shall be for two Nos Hot water plants on monthly basis. (ii) Quoted rates shall be inclusive of labour element and replacement of defective/unserviceable parts/ fittings during complete comprehensive maintaince period. Old parts shall not be re-used and shall be deposited in MES store yard by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall provide all kind of tools without any extra cost as per OEM recommendation. (iv) Tradesman shall take all preventive measures as per Code of practice of IE rules and the department shall not be responsible for ant type of untowards incident. (v) Tradesmen shall rush to spot of fault within 2 Hours of lodging complaint by the User Rep, JE in Charge or Engr-in-Charge telephonically or by any other means at their own arrangement to restore the faults of equipments and to attend the complaint. If the complaint is not attended within 2 Hours, a penalty of Rs 500.00 Per complaint per Hour shall be imposed on contractor. (vi) Contractor shall provide insulation tape, cotton waste and all tools i.e hand gloves, spanner set, tool kit, tool bag etc. without any extra cost to Govt. (vii) Equipments/ Machinery shall always be kept neat & clean and maintain in presentable condition. (viii) Proper Protective clothing of maintenance staff employing in breakdown duty shall be arrange by contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

Supply, assembly and erection in replacement GI sheet rectangular/ square duct made out of 'L' shaped hollow profile, duly factory boxed, including all accessories such as corner, Cleat , Carriage bolt, Gasket and appropriate sealant on longitudinal joints etc complete including necessary MS Channels, Gurder supports as approved by Engr-in-Charge including making of hole in any type of wall and making good with plastering work, masonry work and necessary MS channel supports complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & erection in replacement 25mm thick nitrile duct thermal insulation with Aluminium foil, non - fibrous, fire retardant, closed cell, tri-dimensional, chemically cross linked polyethylene foam, confirm to class 'O' for fire propation and class 1 for surface spread of flame & factory laminated aluminium foil complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement acousting lining of supply air ducting complete with GI frame, tissue paper, 26 Gauge perforated Aluminium Sheet, 25mm thick, of density 32 Kg/cum fiber glass insulation complete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement under deck insulation for metal roof with bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg/Cum, 50mm thick, suitably factory laminated with aluminium foil backed up by scrim and Kraft (FSK), facing with 50mm thick, projection for overlap and butting in following operations complete all as directed and specified:- (a) S&F in replacement 6mm dia MS rods between MS rods between purlins suitably for supporting the required thickness of insulations material beneath the metal roof. (b) S&F in replacement 22 SWG GI/ Aluminium wire supports for insulation. (c) S&F in replacement chicken wire mesh 12.5 mm X 22SWG of hexagonal construction below the insulation for supporting the same. (d) S&F in replacement under deck insulation with bonded fiber glass wool of density 24 Kg/Cum, 50 mm thick, suitably factor laminated with aluminium foil backed up by scrim and kraft paper for overlap and butting.

S&F in replacement Acousting treatment/ lining of area of AHU room with 22 Gauge, GI sheet GI channels of 50X50 mm size fitted at 600X600mm grids, fitted with 50mm thick, 32 Kg/Cum fibber glass insulation, covered with fibber glass tissue and 24 Gauge Aluminium perforated sheet as required, the joint shall be with minimum overlapping of 75mm with 30mm X 3mm aluminium strip covering, all corners shall be provided with 20X20X2mm aluminium angle with stainless steel counter sunk screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and balancing in repair square shape supply air diffuser with removable core and antismudge ring and volume control dampers, powder coated, extruded aluminium construction complete all specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing GI Pipe 50 mm dia heavy class fixing on wall for ducting supports including making of hole in any type of wall and making good with plastering work, masonry work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing with anchor fastener angle iron, MS flats, nut bolt washers etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Necessary welding work involved is also deemed to be include cutting fabrication welding of angle iron/ MS Flat, making hole in any type of wall and making good with plastering work, masonry work, cost of anchor fastener etc.
