SH: 1. WBM- III & Bituminious Macadam & Bituminous Concrete.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres..

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with grader in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

Providing and applying Primer Coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means.

Providing and laying Bituminous Macadam with 100-120 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction

Providing and applying Tack Coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects

SH: 2. TRAFFIC SIGNS, MARKINGS & OTHER ROAD APPURTENANCES

Providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semiautomatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineerin-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Road Markers/Road Stud with Lense Reflector (Providing and fixing of road stud 100x 100 mm, die cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm upto a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS 873 part 4:1973)

SH: 3. Pipe Culverts

Excavation for road way in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections.

PCC 1:3:6 in Foundation (Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.)

Laying Reinforced Cement Concrete Pipe NP4/prestrssed concrete pipe on first class bedding in single row . (Laying Reinforced cement concrete pipe NP4/prestrssed concrete pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets.) -1000 mm dia

SH: 4. MAINTENANCE OF ROADS

Hill Side Drain Clearance (Removal of earth from the choked hill side drain and disposing it on the valley side manually)

Land Slide Clearance in soil (Clearance of land slides in soil and ordinary rock by a bull-dozer Dozer D 80 HP and disposal of the same on the valley side)

SH: 5. Construction of Crate Wall

Excavation for road way in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing.

Providing and construction of a gabian structure for retaining earth with segments of wire crates of size 7 m x 3 m x 0.6 m each divided into 1.5 m compartments by cross netting, made from 4 mm galvanised steel wire @ 32 kg per 10 sqm having minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa conforming to IS:280 and galvanizing coating conforming to IS:4826, woven into mesh with double twist, mesh size not exceeding 100 x 100 mm, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, all loose ends to be tied with 4 mm galvanised steel wire

SH: 6. Clearance of Choked Culverts

Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks ( Specification250*125*50 mm or 250*125*60 mm with strength 500 kg/sqm)) in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colou r& pattern over 30mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 16.93.1 60mm thick cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern. SH: 8. R/wall & Parapets

P/L in positon cement concrete of specified grade 1:2:4 using 20mm nominal size crushed including cost of formwork for parapets

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including curing but excluding the cost of centring and shuttering. All work upto plinth level with: Clause 4.4.3 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Dry random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth: Clause 7.3.2 Without bond stone

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
