CA NO CWE/CHM(U)-28/2021-22 REPAIR AND MAINT OF 11 KV HT PANEL BOARDS/SWITCH GEARS AND ALLIED WORK AT VARIOUS SUB STATIONS UNDER GE(U) CHANDIMANDIR

Amount

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth; for laying of cable,poles stay etc. and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1 flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L dry sand filling under and around UG cable to provide cushioning to cable and in cable ducts etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned thickness shall be measured.

M & L for GI pipe 100 mm bore (light grade) for cable protection poles/walls/under road/culvert etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repairing/ maintenance/ servicing of HT 11 KV VCB along with CTs/ PTs of capacity upto 1250 A of existing make and type by drawing out breaker from panel and carry out the following works complete all as specified:- (a) Disconnecting power supply and tripping off the breaker and racking out the breaker trolley complete from the panel for servicing/inspection/overhauling. (b) General cleaning of the breaker trolley and cabin using soft cloth, CRC solution, hot air blower etc to remove all dust, carbon deposits, sparking patches etc complete. (c) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and adjusting for proper operation. (d) Checking of fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc. (e) Cleaning/decarbonizing of all fixed and moving contacts, levers, springs, etc with soft emery paper , CRC solution and soft dry cloth to remove all carbon deposits and tightening all screws, nuts, bolts, spring etc and incl applying superior quality petrolium jelly on all contacts.

(f) Checking of safety/tripping relays, wiring circuits, repairing burnt out/overheated cable ends by making new end joints ,control fuses including interlocking if any (g) Checking, setting and adjustment of rack in/rack out , spring charging system and operation of the breaker trolley. (h) Lubrication and greasing of breaker operating mechanism , all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear etc. (j) Checking of all end terminals, tightening of all earth connections, tightening all hardware, rack-in the breaker, put in position, engage the VCB with the supply system and testing for smooth functioning. Notes. (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape etc. and testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Servicing/maintenance of VCBs shall be carried out by experienced technicians of auhtorised service centre/agency/any firm having requisite experience of doing such jobs as approved by GE.

Supply and fixing in repairs drive link assembly with Adjustor as per existing make, size & type and suitable for 11 KV VCB or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs auxiliary Switch (7 NO+7NC) as per existing make, size type and suitable for 11 KV VCB or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs tripping/closing coil assembly 24 volts DC suitable for 11 KV HT VCB, as per existing make size/type or any make approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Rack in Rack out handle as per existing make size, type and suitable for 11 KV VCB or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only spring charging Handle as per existing make size, type and suitable for 11 KV VCB or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs space heater 240 volts single phase as per existing make size/type and suitable for 11 KV VCB or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs thermostat for space heater , single phase range 0 to 90 degree celcius all as per existing make size/type and suitable for 11 KV VCB or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing/maintenance of ring main unit (RMU) 3/5 way 11 KV of existing make , by disconnecting the power supply, visual inspection , general cleaning of the unit using blower/soft cloth, cleaning of all the contacts/bus bars etc with CRC solution and fine emery paper and removing all carbon deposits due to flashings, applying superior quality petrolium jelly on all contacts, checking and tightening all hardwares, , checking all components/insulators/studs, adjusting male/female bushings in proper spacing, checking suitability and correct operation of protections, control instruments and electrical connections of the circuit breaker operating mechanism , verification of wiring circuits, lubricating all moving parts, checking/reparing and properly adjustment of opearting system, checking operation of functional locks, interlocks, signalling devices and auxiliary devices, measurement of the resistance of the main circuit , checking for any gas leakage , making all HT supply connections and testing for proper working complete all as directed.

S and F in replacement voltage transformer ratio 11 KV/110 volts confirming to IS-3156 1992, 50 Hz, class B insulation with primary voltage 11 KV/RT3 and secondary voltage 110 V/RT3, 50 VA, class 1.0 3P, type phase to earth complete incl making all connections complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs relay provided on HT 11 KV SF-6 RMU panels for incoming and outgoing feeders for healthy tripping for over current and earth fault self powered numerical protection relay and testing for proper working comlete all as specified and directed. Make :- ASHIDA type ADR141S/ Siemens/ABB/Schneider or equivalent approved make specified in Appx 'B'.

Disconnecting and taking out protection relays/trip relays of existing make and any type from HT panel boards , cleaning all the contacts properly, calibrating the relays by conducting secondary injection tests, checking of current transformers, checking the complete wiring circuits and rectification of defects in control wiring for proper tripping of circuit breakers through CTs and relays, reinstallation of relay into the system, making all connections, testing & commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs single pole high speed master tripping relay suitable for working on 24 volt DC, high burden type, flush mounting, with output contacts 3 N/O 1 N/C and hand reset opeartion indicator suitable for 11 KV HT panel for protection system. Make:- ALSTOM type VAJH13YF0001BBA/ABB/Siemens/Schneider or equivalent approved make specified in Appx 'B'.

Disconnecting power supply and taking out old defective batteries from the DC supply power panel, general cleaning of DC supply panel , supply and fixing new maintenance free lead acid sealed batteries 2 volt 100 AH capacity - 15 nos and making all series connections, checking and repairing the power circuit for proper charging and AC/DC supply changeover , checking all the circuits and replacing any defective parts such as relays etc, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling SF-6 gas to maintain required pressure in RMU complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs feeder protection relay with features of overload relay tripping, 3 phase over current and earth fault tripping suitable for working on 24 volt DC or 220 volts sigle phase AC as per existing, flush mounting, suitable for 11 KV HT panel for feeder protection system. Make:- ABB type REJ601/Siemens/Schneider or equivalent approved make specified in Appx 'B'.

S & F in repairs RMU SF-6 breaker mechanism system suitable for ABB safe plus breakers complete all as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs copper connection for C.T. With nut, bolt and double washers for 11 KV VCB all as per existing make, type and size or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs spring loaded tulip contact, suitable for 800 amps 11 KV HT VCB all as per existing make type and size or any make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

S & F HT heat shrinkable type indoor end termination cable jointing kit suitable for 11000 volt (Earthed) grade XLPE cable of size 70 to 95 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of CPRI approved make, outdoor type floor mounting double door feeder pillar box of size not less than 1200 x 1200 x 500 mm , fabricated from 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, 04 nos legs 750 mm long made from 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron , dully painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer, dust/water and water proof , grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 foundation as direcetd, suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire , 50 Hz complete with and including the following:- [a] Aluminium strip bus bar TPN sleeve insulated mounted on epoxy insulators of capacity 1000 amps - 01 set. S & F in trenches, ducts or fixing along the poles or passing through pipes or laid under floors etc and testing XLPE insulated , screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, heavy duty HT power cables ISI marked with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade cross sectional area 240 sqmm 3 core, 11 KV earthed, complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6 mm thick burried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead strip 32x6mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 connected to earthing test point panel all as specified or indicated and testing on completion as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, PCC chamber (1 : 3 : 6) type C1, CI pit cover and frame , charcol, salt including earth lead protected by 40 mm dia medium grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering complete. Note :- Earth lead strip 32 x 6 mm and GI 40 mm dia protecion pipe upto 7.5 mtr length will be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

S & F in replacement electric motor 230 volts AC suitable for operating mechanism of HT 11 KV VCB complete all as per existing or any make as approved by GE and testing for proper functioning complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs door handle kit suitable for HT VCB 11 KV 630/800/1250 amps capacity of any make as approved by GE for proper locking of the main door complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing sign board of any size/type and supply and install Retro reflective sign boards for electrical installation of size 4 feet x 5 feet (print area) as per the following specifications complete all as directed:- [a] Post (pillar pipe) 50 mm dia 2mm thickness SS 304 grade 9.5 feet long - 02 Nos fitted with MS base plate 150mm x 150 mm & 5 mm thickness at the bottom and 50mm dia SS balls on the top. [b] Pipe for print area frame using 32 mm dia 1.2 mm thickness SS 304 grade pipe and 06 Nos connecting pipes of 50 mm length. [c] SS rivetted strips 2 mm thickness and size 30 mm length & 25 mm width - 16 Nos [d] 3 mm thick ACP sheet (aluminium composite sheet) of size 4 feet x 5 feet along with 1 mm thickness retro reflective material of approved colour and writing work in capital letters and numbers on both sides of ACP sheet all as specified and directed. [e] PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 block of size 300mm x 300mm x 450 mm - 02 Nos for grouting of sign board incl earth work complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement gang operated air break switches with vertical isolation complete with drop out fuse unit assembly , triple pole, 12 insulator type, manually operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level for capacity 400 Amps, 11 KV complete with GI operating pipe of heavy duty grade of suitable length complete all as specified and directed.

Finding of fault to 11 KV UG cable with suitable fault locator equipment & pin point the fault in the faulty cable including necessary excavation and earth work for exposing the faulty portion of the UG cable complete all as specified and directed. Note. Job carried out shall be properly recorded in MB with drawings/ sketches/ loc and shall be signed/intialled by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting wild grass,bushes shrubs etc and cleaning of area/yard of sub station buildings complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L chequred rubber mat for electrical purpose ISI marked and approved by GE of size 1 mtr X 2 mtr and 19 mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out existing defective HT cable of any size complete incl joints/pipes/covers etc from trenches/ducts/poles etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs HT current transformer suitable 11 KV HT RMU having ratio 200-100/1 A, burden 4 VA, 50 Hz , Class 5P, accuracy level factor 10 complete making all connections and testing for proper working complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old defective feeder pillar box any size/any type complete.
