Note : Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements to protect existing floor, joinery, plumbing items, sanitary fittings, etc by gunny bags filled with sand or any other suitable arrangements while demolition and re-construction of Roof Slab, Beams, Chajja and other connected RCC members, walls, etc required to be re-constructed under this Schedule and respective quoted rates shall deemed to include this aspect.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for in this Schedule complete all as specified & as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) not otherwise specifically provided for in this Schedule, complete all as specified & as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster, terrazo etc on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, platform, aprons etc., laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified & as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters (including fittings & fixtures) area not exc 1.5 Sqm each (without taking off the shutters from the frame) of door/window including cutting holes for taking out hold fasts and making good the same including disturbed portion of jambs, cills, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters (including fittings & fixtures) area exc 1.5 Sqm but not exc 4 Sqm each (without taking off the shutters from the frame) of door/window including cutting holes for taking out hold fasts and making good the same including disturbed portion of jambs, cills, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in filling up chowkat/frame hollows and similar works complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stops and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

Structural design for Roof Slab, Beams, Chajja and other connected RCC members required to be re-constructed under this Schedule with & including vetting of structural design from approved Govt Engineering College/NITTTR/CBRI, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Tenderer shall carryout the site visit to ascertain the size of slab, other RCC members, arrangement of rooms, etc required for design purpose. (ii) Four sets of Structural drawings shall be provided to GE by the contractor duly vetted as above.

Cutting openings, through brick walls built in cement mortar for door, window and other openings or enlarging existing openings, converting window into door openings, etc or cutting out defective brick work for underpinning, including providing, fixing and removing shoring and rubbish off the premises as directed.

M&L for cutting holes into or through RCC work as in slabs, chajjas etc including reinforcement is cut through if required and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or PCC 1:2:4 type B0 as required for superficial area exc 100 sqcm but not exc 250 sqcm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade (Design mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, shelves and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade (Design mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

All as per serial item No 21.00 here-in-before but except bricks. Note : Old serviceable burnt clay / fly ash bricks retrieved from serial item No. 3.00 here-in-before shall be used under this item.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work, not exc 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunching, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing factory made 35mm thick glazed and skeleton shutters made of second class hard wood, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze etc (without sash bars) edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc., sizes of members of shutters as specified in clause 8.24(a) of Section 8 in SSR Part-I, kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated, fixed to chowkat, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F factory made solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour single piece extruded PVC profile reinforced with MS square tube, fixing in opening as per specifications complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails. M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab 16 to 18mm thick on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc. laid over & including 10mm thick rendering (as screed bed) in cement & sand mortar 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab with true & uniform joints including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 18 to 20mm thick Granite (of any type) machine cut slab of approved shade (table rubbed and polished) with true & uniform joints as in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms & like and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over & including 15mm thick screed bed (bedding layer) in CM 1:4 with cement slurry @ 3 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified & as directed.

Rounding (making full moulding) to edges of stone slabs one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cutting and grinding of the existing Terrazzo/Marble/Kota stone flooring, skirting, dado, etc by mechanical process using Carborundum stone of appropriate grit, cleaning, making good joints with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab and finally mirror polishing by applying wax polish complete all as specified in SSR and as directed.

M&L for joint free non skid ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick, area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm as in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for vitrified ceramic tiles 10mm thick (square/rectangular), polished, coloured (light shade as approved), area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic tiles (coloured) 7mm thick, area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm (i.e 450mm x 300mm or as directed), on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 10mm thick rendering (as screed bed) in cement & sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for vitrified ceramic tiles 10mm thick (square/rectangular), polished, coloured (light shade as approved), area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 10mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified. Note :- Plinth protection shall be of width as directed and shall be laid with an outward slope of 1:30 in alternative bays not exceeding 4 meter in length. Joints of 6 mm wide and 10 mm deep shall be provided along the wall and bays and same shall be filled with bitumen mastic (1:3).

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in two layer on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls consisting of 1st layer of 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 and 2nd layer (setting coat or top layer) of 5 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, 2nd layer mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished fair & even, complete, all as specified and directed. Note : - Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces in ceiling, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for 2mm thick Plaster of Paris (POP) (Gypsum anhydrous) on wall and finish smooth including preparation of surfaces including completely removing the existing treatment where required and making the surface smooth & making good the existing undulations all as directed. Note : Contractor shall have to make surface in true level and smooth by providing extra thickness of POP where required at site without any extra cost to the Govt.

M&L for 25mm to 30mm thick plaster of paris (POP) (Gypsum anhydrous) raised moulding to flat surface of ceiling including preparation of surfaces all as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling carefully and taking up or down existing unserviceable/serviceable steel water tubing and connections of 15mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes :- (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.
