Surface excavation not exc (not exceeding) 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified.

All as per Item No 01 above, but in soft/loose soil.

Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep and getting out in hard / dense soil.

Earthwork for excn over areas, in any kind of soil by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) (exc 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) incl getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m, all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick, watering, ramming / rolling and finishing to required size, shape etc. not exc 1.5m high from base.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide & not exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. not exc 10 sqm on plan & getting out in hard / dense soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in hard / dense soil in layers not exc 25cm.

Removing of surplus excavated material / soil n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Grubbing up tree trunk, girth exc 30cm and not exc 100cm, including cutting of trunk portion protruding over ground, digging out roots, filling holes and levelling off ground, stacking of serviceable material and removing of unserviceable material to a distance n exc 50m and clearing site.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting using 8 to 12 Ton Power rollers complete all as specified.

M&L for 150mm thick soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber.

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness in two layers of 75mm) WMM (wet mix macadam), laid all as specified in SSR Part - I, clause 20.B.5, mix for which shall be transported from premix plant by tipper trucks to the site and spread and compacted using mechanical power roller to gradient and camber required all as specified and/or as directed.

Preparing unsurfaced WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer with paving bitumen of VG-10 grade at 10 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and/or as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick Moorum / Red bajri, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required as in berms complete all as specified.

M&L for providing 2.5mm thick road marking strips 100mm wide (reflective) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe, heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface including cost of materials, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign materials etc., complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and strictly in accordance to applicable specifications.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with fly ash modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6)complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC 1:1.5:3, type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns etc. basements slabs under reamed piles and mass concrete.

M&L RCC 1:1.5:3, type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts.

M&L RCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft & raft beams, sides & soffits of foundation and plinth beams and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete.

Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for rough finished surfaces of concrete square, rectangular or polygonal surfaces of concrete.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings & similar work; exc 200mm thick (horizontal or sloping) for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete.

M&L mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends & binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips.

M&L mild steel TMT bars 5mm dia and over upto & inlcuding 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers & binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips.

M&L rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM (1:4)

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces and applying two coats of cement based paint of approved colour over one coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as per specified and directed.

S&F for framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc. complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing conforming to Fe-410W (Gde E-250) quality-B etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zince chrome primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
