REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF PUMPS AND CLEANING OF TANKS (OH/UG SUMPS), REPAIR OF CENTRIFUGAL / SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS AND CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER THE AOR OF GE GOLCONDA

Cleaning of RCC Over Head Reservoir of capacity 50000 Glns complete all as specified and as directed and as described below :- i) Before starting the cleaning of Over Head Reservoir, distribution line from OH tank is to be disconnected and plugged with suitable fitting. After cleaning, plugged line should be washed out and connected to the distribution pipe line as per existing position. Cost of required earth work and excavation at places is deemed to be included in item rate quoted by the contractor. ii) The inner surface of the walls and ceiling of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after emptying the water in the tank. iii) After thorough cleaning of the tank, the cleaning water and sludge is to be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at a place as directed. iv) After removing the sludge from tank, the tank shall be first cleaned thoroughly by using high pressure water pump and again the floor and inner surfaces of the tank shall be cleaned by using a industrial vacuum cleaner and the tank shall be made fully dirt free. v) After making the tank dirt free, the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling of the tank shall be treated with anti bacterial agents. vi) After the treatment as mentioned at (iv) above, the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling shall be treated with UV Radiator. (v) Date of cleaning shall be marked with synthetic enamel paint NOTE : (i) The unit rate quoted deemed to be including draining of water with mechanical equipment and working in water and mud etc. (ii) The unit rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of all safety precautions which shall be taken while working on RCC over head tank/underground sump and contractor or his Engineer shall be available during execution of the job. (iii) Lighting arrangements if required shall be provided by the contractor temporarily at his own arrangements and the rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of this and electricity / diesel shall not be provided by the department. (iv) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside each OH tank/UG sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users. Over head tank of 50000 Gallon capacity at a) hill top 9 MT area/Taramati Md Accn Pump house/Outside MKD near Swimming pool at Arty Centre b) 64 ORs Map qtr, Towli Chowki Qtrs/KVS - II, and Map Md Accn (near Signal Centre Pump House) at Asif Nagar and c) Old Md Lines (Near 19 Rajput Md Accn) at MH/MD Lines

All as per Item No:1 here-in-before but Over head tank of 25000 Gallon capacity at following location:- a) Near cook house 9 MT area/16 Dogra Regt 7th mile area at Arty Centre b) butchery, 40 JCOs patter bldg at Asif Nagar c) MH Golconda (near SHO office)
