Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 m wide and 1.5 mtr depth for foundation etc, not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling watering well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm grade crushed stone aggregate for making good the road/path etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cleaning of Jack well/Shallow well to remove all mosses, algae, dirt, deposits and other sediments, scrubbing of internal surface with steel wire brush and removal of dirty water with sludge machines cleaners and disposal of the same to a safe distance including sterilizing the complete internal surface of the tank by using ISI mark Gd I bleaching powder / Liquid Chlorine, wash with fresh water, drying up incl marking / writing the words on external wall at visible place ''MES, Capacity & Date of Cleaning'' using synthetic enamel paint in white colour over black background and letters of 50 mm height and 40 mm width complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Taking out existing filter media like sand, gravel & ferminex from filtration plant complete including soda & Alum Pots & removing from site and cleaning the internal surfaces of filtration plant 9000GPH with soda & Alum Pots with using PVC/Steel wire brushes to remove all scales, iron particles and finally clay & other foreign particles with clean water complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out existing unserviceable PVC Nozzles and Supply and fix new PVC double deck type PP strainer nozzle of size 10mm to 15mm (3/8” to ½” inch) dia, push type complete all as specified and directed (Make: RMCO/ASHFORD or equivalent ).

M&L for preparation of internal steel surfaces and pressure type iron removal filtration plant 9000 GPH capacity by scraping with wire brush and removing all dust, scales and other foreign particles and thoroughly washing with clean water and drying and applying two coats of anti-corrosive black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose on entire internal surfaces (except glavanised surfaces) of filtration plants complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted external surfaces alongwith connected external steel components of pressure type iron removal filtration plant 9000 GPH capacity by scrapping and applying two coats of blue synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for packing of new filter media of Gravel size 25 mm to 45 mm in layers of approved quality obtained from ‘Barakar River’ complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for filling of new filter media Gravel of size 12 mm to 25 mm in layers of approved quality obtained from ‘Barakar River’ complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable rubber gasket from position with taking out of nuts, bolts etc and S&F New rubber gasket of size 75cm outer dia, 3mm thick rubber sheet of approved quality fixed with suitable size & dia mild steel machine made nuts, bolts & washers of required size & numbers complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Nuts, bolts & washers shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Checking overhauling and pressure testing of normal working pressure and replacement of unserviceable gauges safty "V' belt compressor piston rings etc for air compressor stationary type electrically operated air cooled complete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (first quality) after preparation of surfaces by scraping old paint complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel machine made nuts, bolts & washers of size 15mm(5/8”) dia and 75mm (3”) long or nearest suitable sizes for top cover and side cover of Soda /Alum pot complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out of old existing chemical dosing pumping-set of single phase 240 volts 50 Hz from the existing position and disconnecting all electrical wires and PVC pipe line/pump connection and transportation to workshop and dismantling the motor and rewinding the same with existing guage super enamelled copper wire varnishing the same and heating properly in heat chamber, re-assembling the motor after replacement of defective all spare parts and PVC bucket capcacity of 100 ltrs all rusted nut and bolts and install the same to the existing position after successfully repairs and commssioning testing complete to the entire satisfaction of GE complete all as specified and directed. Note :- All items for dosing pump and motor repairs are deemed to be included into the same items.
