Routine maintenance of railway track shall be carried out to the required standard and as per guide line given in the IR PWM and need based for the safety of track including cost of tool and plants and labour charges etc. complete. For 13.30 KM (ETKM) (Minimum 35 labours including supervisors and key men to be engaged per day) Note (1) Minimum 28 Nos. unskilled labour, 06 Nos. Semiskilled labou and 02 Nos.Supervisors(highely skilled) labouis to be engaged per day. (2) if the agency fails to deploy sufficient labours required in any day as per contract, recovery @ double the unit rate of labour derived as per updated / justified or awarded rate whichever is higher shall be made from the contractor bill
Trollying rail and sleepers under trafic block including loading into dipllorry up to 30 metrs lead unloading and stacking at the destination as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and carrying the rail over diplorries up to 4.00 KM lead.
Cutting of rails up to 52 Kg / 60 Kg section by cutting machine including fixing in running track and tightening of nuts and bolts complete etc. as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
Drilling of holes by mechanical means (drilling machine) upto 32 mm dia in rails 60 / 52 Kg in running track complete as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
Day to day cleaning & removal of slush muck . Spillage coal from sides of Railway track. During monsoon i.e from (June to Sept) Note (1) Minimum 15 Nos. unskilled labour is to be engaged per day. (2) if the agency fails to deploy sufficient labours required in any day as per contract, recovery @ double the unit rate of labour derived as per updated / justified or awarded rate whichever is higher shall be made from the contractor bill.
