BAITALPUR : ESA AUDIT RECOMMENDATIONS LUX LEVEL IMPROVEMENT AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ELECTRICAL WORKS

Subject: - Provision of external water receipt in underground tank and lifting/diverting to main

water storage tanks at Baitalpur Depot, Gorakhpur Territory.

Scope of work: - As per OISD 244 clause no 6.3.n we need to provide an external water receipt

under tank for emergency purpose.

Following to be done at location.

1. Lux level need to be ensured all around the plant, LUX requirement not meeting at main

gate<11; tank farm <10; pump house <40; ordinary platform<10; process area<10; Few

light fittings not working in TWD pump house, TW gantry siding, tank farm 1. Lux level in

Tank Farm 1 manifold and OWS found inadequate, Lights not provided in HVLR panel

sheds. (kindly survey the plant for bid).

2. Refer below table for LUX level requirement as per PNGRB which we need at our location.

3. 2 no’s ESD with cable laying work, switches, cable try works with tagging etc at TWD

siding. (S/L 3.5 CORE X 50 SQMM ARMOURED CABLE for ESD work; L=500RM).

4. Light pole works (including LED lights, boxes, JBs, cable entry and exit and connections).

Supply of MCCB 63 AMP, FLP selector switches(rotary switches 16 Amp), FLP GLAND 3/4

INCH, FLP GLAND 38 OD , NON FLP GLAND 38 OD , L N KEY BOLT 5 NO AND 1 INCH LONG,

FLP DEAD PLUG ET 3/4 INCH, 90W LED STREET LIGHT (20), FLP LIGHTS 110 WATT( 50),

WATT LED FLOOD LIGHT CROMPTON(25), DISMANTLING OF 350W LED FLOOD

LIGHTDISMANTLING OF FLP LED LIGHT FROM FILLING GANTRY & PUMP HOUSE and any

additional works will be as per engineering in-charge/depot manager considering total

cost would not exceed.

5. FLP JB 590(W) x 590(H) x 285(D)mm with 3 Nos 3/4" ET and 3 Nos 25mm cable entries at

bottom. Size (4 no’s); FLP JB Size: 405(W) x 370(H) x 215(D) 7 Nos 3/4" ET cable entries at

bottom (6 no’s).

6. Any other additional works as per engineering officer in-charge or location in-charge.

7. Permits to be taken for all types of jobs considering associated risk and mitigation

measures with duly signed by concerned officers after necessary toolbox talks.

8. Proper PPEs to be made available and will in scope of contractor doing the job.

9. Necessary associate testing like hydrotesting/Ultra sonic thickness testing of pipelines and

certificates to be provided after the installation and commissioning works.

SPECIAL TERM & CONDITION.

1. The quantity given in tender will be ordered time to time throughout the contract period as

per need. There is no surety to consume complete tendered quantity. Bidders need to

consider per unit rate irrespective of the bulk quantities as the quantities are purely

tentative and execution shall be done as per requirement only.

2. There is no guarantee that the given quantity in the tender will be consumed completely.

3. There will be no restriction on Number Purchase order to be placed till consumption of

complete quantity during tender period.

4. It is mandatory to deliver the items within 15 days after placing PO.

5. Payment will be only made after successful completion of project and submitting necessary

test certificates of concrete.

6. BPCL Engineer reserves right to change/modify design at any stage before taking the actual

service of any line item.

7. The complete supervision at site is the responsibility of vendor, BPCL engineer will visit site

at frequent intervals. Any mishap/ accident at site, BPCL will not be responsible for the

8. No Advance payment shall be made. Billing shall be done after completion of job.

9. The successful bidder shall be liable to submit the security deposit after the finalization of

10. Delay in delivery of service will lead to LD as per 0.5% of PO value per week and maximum

LD can be deducted 5 % of total value.

11. The successful bidder should submit the Security Deposit/retention money of 10 % of total

contract value. The same will be released after 6 months of successful completion of

13. The delivery date needs to be adhered to and there shall be no extension for the work.

14. Delay in delivery of items will lead to LD as per standard terms.
