Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of silent Diesel Engine driven generating set not less than 125 KVA or nearest standard size, 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 1500 rpm, 50 Hz power supply with power factor 0.8, coupled directly to alternator mounted on a common base plate complete with integral acoustic enclosure having silent features such as modular bolted construction with fabrication on imported CNC torret punch machines, nine tank treatment process with pure polyster based powder coating to ensure long life in all weather conditions and for out door application/ installation, integrated design thereby facilitating /easy handling of installation & shifting of the equipment at site. The design of integral acoustic enclosure should be approved by National Physical laboratory as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB-IV + Emission compliant) latest norms/regulation Noise level 75dB(A) at a distance of one metre, with and including fuel tank, battery and standard accessories as recommended by Manufacturer, vibration pad, sand cushioning around PCC foundation, tools and spares, as provided by Manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed with the following specifications

ENGINE - 4 cylinders, inline, 4 stroke cycle, Water cooled Naturally aspirated, developing Matching 161.6BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514. The engine shall be provided with electrical starting arrangement & shall give the electrical output 125 KVA/ 100 KW at 0.8 power factor, Current 174 Amp, 415Volts at the alternator terminal

ALTERNATOR: Single bearing alternator suitable for continuous operation generating 125 KVA at 1500 RPM, 415Volts , 0.8 power factor (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system, conforming to BS 5000/ IS 4722. The alternator is brushless type, screen protected, revolving field, self excited alternator conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1, self regulated through an AVR. The alternator has the following features: (a) ± 0.50 % voltage regulation (max.) in static conditions (b) IP: 23 protection with insulation class 'H'. (c) Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation. (d) 3 phase reconnectable winding with 12 terminal brought out for connection. (e) Dedicated winding specially designed for 1 phase operation (f) Double layer lap startor winding (g) PCC foundation complete as per Manufacturer's design including anti vibration pads, necessary excavation & earth work in soft/loose soil, sand cushioning, grouting foundation etc.

Engine Starting – (a) The control system supports automatic engine starting, Primary and back up start disconnections are achieved by battery charging alternator feedback or main alternator output frequency. (b) Controller Model PS0602 provides configurable time delay of 0-300 sec to start after remote start signal and time delay of 0-600 secs prior to shutdown after stop signal. (c) Sleep mode increases battery life. Configurable current settings from low to minimize current draw when genset is not working.

Engine Protective Functions includes - Configurable alarm output, Emergency stop: Annunciated whenever an emergency stop signal is received by the control (a) Low Lube oil pressure warning and shutdown (b) High engine water temperature warning/ shutdown (c) Low coolant temp warning (d) Sensor failure indication (e) Low and high battery voltage warning (f) Weak battery warning (g) Fail to start shut down (h) Cranking lockout: Control will not allow the starter to engage or to crank the running engine (j) Cyclic cranking : Configurable for the number of starting cycle (1 to 7) and duration of crank and rest periods. Alternator Protective functions includes (a) High and Low AC voltage shut down (b) Under and over frequency shutdown / warning (c) Loss of sensing voltage input shut down (d) Battery charger alternator

Fuel tank: (a) Sub Base Fuel tank of 14 SWG MS sheet of adequate capacity to operate 8 hrs on 100% load. (b) Base Rail: Base Rail with integral fuel tank is provided. (c) Batteries: For electrical control circuit 24 Volts batteries for electrical starting of DG set

Base frame arrangements . The engine and alternator would be coupled by means of specially designed flexible coupling. Both the units including the radiator would be mounted on a rigid fabricated base to form a compact arrangement. The steel shall be of Make : TISCO/SAIL or equivalent Make as approved by GE

Sound acoustic enclosure : CPCB approved sound acoustic enclosure suitable for above generator set with complete set installed within canopy.

Shed & chainlink fencing :- Shed for covering of 125 KVA DG set by using CGI sheet, angle iron, channels, Mild steel poles, nut, bolts, washers, welding works, 100mm thick PCC(1:2:4) type B2 projected 0.50m all around DG set over PCC works in (1:4:8) type D2, 150mm thick in foundation , excavation and earth works etc . Size of shed approx (lxbxh) (7 x 6 x 4 mtr) or as per site requirement and chainlink fencing for approx 9 x 8 x 2 mtr height including iron door and locking arrangement etc complete all as per site requirements and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and laying in trenches/through pipes or laid across road /paths/drains/ ducts/floors/along poles/walls/ ceilings/ equipments etc. cable under ground, Heavy duty, armoured, XLPE insulated with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade of cross sectional area 120 Sqmm x 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide & not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation etc or for shafts , wells, cesspits, manholes, laying of pipe and not exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering & well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & diected.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note : Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply and laying unreinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1, flat, size 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in floor/hard standing complete all as specified and directed..

Supply and fix Auto Transfer Switch 200 Amp, 4 pole in enclosure including connecting to incoming and outgoing cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing 80 mm bore, ISI marked steel tubes light grade galvanised with all fittings used for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete for various equipments with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600x 6mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below the ground level, connected to G.I Strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, GI pipe 40mm bore light grade for protection of earthing strip, PCC chamber 1:2:4, type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge ( 0.63) 8 mesh per linear inch, 50mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bar at 75mm C/C both ways and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part-I(2009) and as specified including excavation and earth work and connecting the earthing to an earthing test point as specified and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted against this item is inclusive of earth lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from earth plate.
