Earthwork in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil excavation to be the form of regular pit not exceeding 1/2 meter in depth and e/w in embankment to be in 20cm layers,i/c ramming/rolling and dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5m lift and 30 m lead. the earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil banks within 30m distance as directed by the E/I.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing ready mix material spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacted with 80-100 KN Smooth wheel static rollar to achieve the desired density at OMC complete as per Technical specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 63 mm to 45 mm sizes to water bound macadam (WBM II) specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming crushable screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405..

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 53 mm to 22.4 mm sizes to water bound macadam (WBM III) specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.(WBM III)

Providing and applying primer coat with Slow Setting bitumen emulsion (SS-2) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.700 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.35 Kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates (Dalla aggregate) using VG-10 grade bitumen @ 1.46 Kg / sqm to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type c as per Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat Type C sealing the voids in a bituminous surface with crushed stone chipping of 6.7 mm size defined as 100 % passing through 9.5 mm sieve & 100 % retained on 2.36 mm sieve applied @ 0.09 cum / 10 sqm & Bitumen VG-10 @ 6.50 kg / 10 sqm on bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall as per Technical Specification Clause 510
