Amount

Maintenance of nursery stocks means clean practices and constant vigilance necessary to keep nursery stocks, paths, roads and surrounds to be kept weed free. The beds, burms, polybags should be devoid of any unwanted growth in order to induce growth to the principal species. The hand weeding of unwanted species is to be carried out as per demand of the site on regular basis including water as per requirement. The mechanical and chemical methods of weeding are not allowed. The deweeded material should be dumped at a lead of 50-100 meters in available composite pits. Incase of break out of any disease the emergency spraying of fungicide/ pesticide is to be carried out under the supervision of concerned technical staff. No. of Polybags = 50,000 No.’s

(A) Deweeding / Cleaning of polybags, berms. Paths & beds from any unwanted growth and its disposal upto composite pits

(B) Supply / Appling of Urea @ 0.5 Kg per dose per bed as per requirement (minimum twice) in six months to provide nitrogen to plants to promote their growth.

(C) Regular watering as per requirement and cleaning of water channels.

(D) Spraying of fungicide/ pesticides as per requirement.
