Modified Penetration Macadam, Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed coarse aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506. (50 mm thick) including carriage of material up to all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg, per sqm. On the prepared bitumenous surface cleaned with Hydarulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts and as per thedirection of Engineer in Charge..

Providing and Laying 25 mm thick Bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant producing an average out put of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premix with using Bituminous Binder @5.40 to 5.60 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix plant to site of work, laying with a Hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H Specification Clause No.509 complete.508.including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts and as per thedirection of Engineer in Charge..

Providing and Laying of Hot applied Thermoplastic compound 2.50 mm thick including relectorising glass beads @ 250 grams per square metre area. Thick ness of 2.50 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC: 35. The finished surface to be level uniform and free from streaks and holes including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of Engineer in Charge..

Condition:- (1) Bitumen i.e. VG-10. SS-I & RS-I will be supplied by the department if aviailableon on the prevailing market rates, other wise the same is to be arranged by the contractor himself and the necessary bills be submitted. (2)Aggregate and sand shall be used from nearby approved quarry. (3) The cube tests will be tested from approved / Departmental lab by the contractor himself.
