Part-A: Civil Works

Dismantling tile work in floors/ walls and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within the campus as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

(a) In cement mortar

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

Water proofing treatment in the RCC Roof slab/ Portico Slab

Surface preparation: Step-1 Removal of all the roof tiles, if exist and cleaning the same to remove the loose particles, debris, dust etc., then saturating the surface with water, including cost of labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-2 Providing and applying Koster Polysil TG 500/ Dr. Fixit or equivalent primer on the prepared surface as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-3 Providing and applying Talrak Flexeal Elastic./ Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent waterproofing coating on the primed surface in two coats, as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-4 Providing and applying Koster Polysil TG 500/ Dr. Fixit or equivalent primer on the prepared surface as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-5 Providing and laying vapour barrier polyethyene film of 200 gsm or equivalent without any wrinkles, as per manufacturers specification, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-6 Providing and laying Non- Woven geotextile sheet or equivalent over the vapour barrier, as per manufacturers specification, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-7 Providing and laying M20 Fibre Reinforcement Concrete Screed over the treated surface as per direction of Engineer in charge.

FOR TOILET WALLS

Surface preparation: Step-1 Removal of all the old tiles, if exist and cleaning the same to remove the loose particles, debris, dust etc., then saturating the surface with water, including cost of labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-2 Providing and applying Koster Polysil TG 500/ Dr. Fixit or equivalent primer on the prepared surface as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-3 Providing and applying Talrak Flexeal Elastic/ Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent waterproofing coating on the primed surface in two coats, as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-4 15 mm thick plastering with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine aggregate) over the water proofing treatment area admixed with Acrylic Polymer@ 10% by weight of cement.

Damproofing in Walls

Surface preparation: Step-1 Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within the campus as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Step-2 Providing and applying Koster Polysil TG 500/ Dr. Fixit or equivalent primer on the prepared surface as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-3 Providing and applying Talrak Flexeal Elastic/ Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent waterproofing coating on the primed surface in two coats, as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-4 15 mm thick plastering with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine aggregate) over the water proofing treatment area admixed with Acrylic Polymer@ 10% by weight of cement.

Major Cracks Repairing in Brick Wall:

Cutting the existing crack in a 'V' shape groove cleaning the same with proper means Application of one coats of Epoxy Bonding Agent followed by application of Sika 214 non- shrinkage powder over the entire crack area and let dry. Finally plaster the surface wherever necessary.

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level.

Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand)

Providing 15 mm thick cement plaster in proportion 1: 4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse sand)

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.

Providing edge moulding to 18 mm thick marble stone counters, Vanities etc., including machine polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete as per design approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) Granite work

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily.

Glazed Vitrified tiles Matt/Antiskid finish of size 600 X 600 MM

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing, hoisting and fixing above plinth level up to floor five level precast reinforced cement concrete work in string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks, plain window sills and the like, including the cost of required centering, shuttering but , excluding cost of reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/window/Ceosetory windows & other Frames/Chowkhat comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58- 60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/ cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with M.S hold fast/lugs/SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge. (M.S hold fast/lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be paid for separately).

Frame size 50 x 125 mm

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid decorative type flush door shutter of required size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/ cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant. WPC to be laminated with PVC foil of minimum 14 microns thick of approved design pasted with hot melt adhesive on both faces of shutter and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge. (Note: stainless steel butt hinges and necessary S.S screws shall be paid separately)

Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 150x10 mm

Providing and fixing aluminium handles, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868)r dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 125 mm

Providing and fixing IS : 12817 marked stainless steel butt hinges with stainless steel screws etc. complete :

MS Gutters

Surface preparation: (a) Preparing the surface by removing the rust effected area with sand paper after applying Rust remover over the entire effected gutter area (inside/ outside) cleaning the same with clean water.

(b) Application of SIKADUR 31C (Epoxy Mortar) with spatula uniformly over the treated surface and let it dry for 9 hours.

(c) Application of Multi-seal Tap at the jointing area of gutter.

(d) Application of Zinc primer over the entire prepared surface.

(e) Application of Epoxy Paint over the primed surface.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete :

Gutter (600 mm over all girth)

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

(a) In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface :

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer's specification.
