Earthing of HT panel, HT motors and LRS installed at Tawi pump House by way of excavation of 03 Nos pits of size 1.20 m x 1.20 m, 3m deep at a suitable place in premises of Tawi pump house, placing of 1 No. Copper earthing plate of size 600mm x 600mm x 3.15 mm thick of recommended specifications at the bottom of each pit, laying copper strip riser of 25 x 6 mm (or equivalent section) after connecting lower end to the copper plate in the pit to the Ground level. Providing and placing 40 mm dia. G.I. Pipe (3 mtr) vertically on the Copper earthing plate for adding water for moistening soil, providing & fitting of sockets and plugs on the top end of all G.I. Pipes. Filling of all pits with laying alternate layers (Each layer of 15 cm) of charcoal and salt up to top end of plate in the pit then filling up to ground level with excavated earth. Constructing cement concrete 30 cmx30cm inspection hole at top end. providing and fitting CI cover on inspection chamber. Earthing of HT panel to one No. earth electrode(copper plate) by way of Providing and laying earth conductor copper strip 25 x 6mm size or equivalent section, below the ground level, to connect earthing with earth bus of HT panel. Earthing to all the Six Nos HT motors and starters by way of providing and laying 25x6mm copper earth conductor from another 02 Nos inter connected earthing Electrodes(copper Plates) up to 750 KW motor No 6, between HT motors and LRS using requisite material nuts and bolts of required size/brazing of copper strips ,connecting body of all the Six Nos. HT motors(1 to 6) and all LRS( 1 to 6) with 25x6 mm earthing conductor using 25x3mm copper earthing Strip .Total quantity of copper strip required 25x6 mm -55 mtr including riser and 25x3 mm- 21 mtr. Earthing of LT control panel by way of excavation of pit of size 1.20m x 1.20 m at the bottom, 3m deep at a suitable place in premises of Tawi pump house, placing of 1 No. GI earthing plate of size 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick at the bottom of pit, laying/erecting one run of GI strip riser of 40 x 6 mm by connecting with GI plate at lower end to extend earthing conductor to the Ground level for further extending to LT control Panel. Providing and placing 40 mm dia. G.I. Pipe (3 mtr) vertically on the GI earthing plate to add water for moistening soil in dry season, providing & fitting of a plug on the top end of G.I. Pipe. Filling of pit with alternate layers of charcoal and salt up to height of plate in the pit and then filling up to ground level with excavated earth. Constructing cement concrete inspection hole 30cmx30 cm, providing and fitting CI frame to cover inspection chamber. Providing and laying GI earthing strip 40 x 6mm size, below the ground level for connecting earthing point of LT control panel to earthing electrode by welding /fitting GI strip with requisite size of GI bolts and nuts. Quantity of GI strip to be used 40x6 mm-27 mtr. The whole job includes the cost of material, hire and carriage charges of tools and tackles, charges for skilled and semi -skilled labour required for execution of job.
