Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

Corrigendum modifications correction if any will be published in the KPPP website only

All materials should be in good quality as per specification, quality certificate for the same should be obtained from the concerned authority at their own cost

Acceptance / Cancellation of the works are reserved by undersigned without any reasons for the same

All the scanned documents pertaining to bidder to be uploaded shall be in original and same originals should be produced to the Executive Engineer (at the time of Technical Bid Opening) who reserves right to verify the original documents before approval

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per Technical and Financial bid attached to this tender

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

All the materials to be utilized for the work must be tested in authorised labs and quality control test reports must be enclosed to the bills. All types of pipes and pumping machineries with Accessories and other materials must be tested by third party agency. Cost of all QU tests must be borne by contractor.

If any date in the tender timetable is government holiday, next working date will be considered

Incomplete / conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tender may be cancelled at any stage without assigning any reason

The rates of items are inclusive of cost of materials, labour charges, HOM of machinery, all lead and lifts and all other charges to complete the work successfully as per specifications and as directed by engineer in charge of work

The tenderers must submit the scanned documents in pdf / jpeg form, not in other form

Any objection regarding the tender must be submitted directly to the office of the Registrar

For interpretations of clauses, conditions, spelling mistakes, etc., decision of Registrar, RCUB is final. and Binding

Bidder should Submit only unconditional Line of Credit in the prescribed format only from the Bank

Third party consults may be engaged for checking quality and quantity of work and to prevent any misuse. proper reporting methods trough these agencies and their comments to be reviewed addressed immediately at district level. quality of work is of most importance

As per Karnatka State Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Blore dated 01.01.07 and Government letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.07, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare Fund. & Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt Orders

Materials like pipe, CI pipe, cement aggregate sand etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and shall be of standard quality as per IS specifications and should get tested by the quality control authority before used to the work at his own cost

The work should be carried out in accordance with the standardspecifications specified by the department

The work should be executed strictly as per the tender specification mentioned. Contractor should arrange for quality check at different stage of work for quality assurance as per direction of Engineer-in-charge during the work in progress and after completion. If any failures found the cost will be recovered from the contractor and will be recommended for black listing immediately

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt Order

Liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of not less than Rs.216 Lakhs through submission of unconditional Credit line/letter of credit/ certificates from banks for meeting the fund requirement etc

Achieved in at least two financial years a minimum financial turnover in all classes of civil engineering construction works only of Rs. 1700 Lakhs usually not less than two times the estimated annual payments under this contract. The Consolidated Annual Financial turnover certificate for the relevant financial years certified by an ICAI registered Chartered Accountant along with UDIN number also the audited financial statements for each of the financial years to be submittedThe certificate should be affixed with the seal of the office of the Chartered Accountant with the registration number and duly notarized by Notary Public

Satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor at least one similar Nature of work of value not less than Rs. 425 Lakhs not less than 50% of estimated value of contract certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer

Tenderers must have valid KPWD registration and must submit KPWD registration copy Class I

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per common SR 2023-24 and prevailing GST of 18 percentage of amount put to tender amount is kept in form of lumpsum in sanctioned estimation according to guidelines in common SR GO PWD 51 RDF 2019 Bangalore Dt 18-03-2022. Therefore, amount put to tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. KPPP - portal format has no option to add GST separately at the stage of draft tender schedule process for overall amount put to tender. Tender has been invited through an option with inclusive but the item wise rates do not include GST. Hence, GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly. Declaration certificate must be attached mandatorily

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)
