Periodical Maintenance to RD road to Ghantmal road for the year 2025-26

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shurbs saplings and trees girth up to 300mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unservicable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 mtr including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness.

Restoration of Rain Cuts with soil, moorum gravel or a mixture of these, clearing the loose soil, benching for 300mm width laying fresh material in layers not exceeding 250 mm and compaction with plate compactor or power rammer to restore the original alignment ,level and slopes

Stripping excess soil from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor at OMC as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 1903

Providing ,laying , spreading and compacting stone agregates of specific sizes to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness , hand packing rolling with three whelled roller 80-100kn capacity in stages to proper camber grade ,applying & brooming requisite type of screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse agregate watering and compacting to required density as per Technical Specification Clause-404 of MoSRT&H Specification for Road & Bridge works (4th revision)

Cleaning the existing black topped surface with removal of foreign materials dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous etc complete.

Providing applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) over prepared surface of granular base including clearing road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.6 kg / sqm by mechanical means per clause 502 of MoSRT&H specification for road and bridge works(4 th Revision)

Providing Tack coat with penetration grade of bitumen emulsion etc complete

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete(SDBC) using crushed aggregate of grading-2 materials premixed with bitumenous binder@ 4.50 to 5.00%of mix and filler, transport the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydroststic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H Clause No. 508 of MoSRT&H specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision)

Earth work in hard soil or gravelly soil within 50m. Initial lead and 1.5m initial lift including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in layers not exceeding 0.3m in depth and as per the direction of the EIC.

Earthwork in excavation for foundation in hard soil excavated as directed by the site Engineer.

Plain Cement Concrete PCC Grade M15 in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications

Plain cement concrete M-15 grade in Sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification.

Water based Cement paint with of approved quality to exterior surface of bridge proper including watering, curing, cost and conveyance of all materials etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of un-reinforced plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M-30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the form work as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion and construction joints, applying sealant, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
