PART - I - CIVIL WORKS

Demolishing brick/ stone masonry /PCC/ waterproofing etc in cement mortar and plaster at all floors & levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposing of unserviceable materials etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

a) Brick/ Stone masonary /PCC/ waterproofing work.

Providing and fixing 12 mm dia and 125 mm long Hilti make(HSL-3, M12/25) or its equivalent approved anchor fasteners for anchoring M.S angle / plate to existing RCC beam at directed locations including drilling holes using Tungusten bit 14 mm dia for a depth of 100 mm & cleaning the drilled hole with blower, injecting Hilti Chemical grout (Hilti Hit RB-500)drill machine etc. as per drawing/ sketch, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing centring shuttering Form work using PVC film faced plywood to get neat form finish surface for Walls, partitions, paradi , RCC bands including strutting, proping, staging, support etc. and deshuttring after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying Design Mix Reinforced cement concrete of M-30 grade using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including mechanical mixing, placing , vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, providing & filling expansion joints wherever necessary etc.all Complete at all floors and heights / levels as specified including dewatering, if any ( excluding cost of form work, shuttering & steel reinforcement which shall be paid in the relevent item) as per drawings ,specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the sunken etc. giving injections to the concrete surface as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill all inherent holes, voids, honey-combs etc. in the concrete, applying waterproof plaster of about 25 mm thick for the floor areas of the depression and about 18 mm on the side walls of the depression and continue the vertical treatment on the walls above the proposed floor finish upto a height of 600 mm with surface suitable and even to receive tiles, including applying one coat of zycosil coating with ( 1 zycoil : 20 Water) solution testing the treatment for water tightness by impounding water for 7 days etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & Applying seamless Acrylic based chemical waterproofing system with minimum 1 mm DFT (dry film thickness) including surface preparation as per general notes, primer coat, reinforcing membrane ( minimum 45 GSM) and multiple layers of chemical coat ( 2 to 3 coats as per manufacture specification), removing the existing damaged water proofing treatment, if any, all complete as per the manufacturers specifications and as directed by EIC, using any of the following waterproofing systems 1) Smartcare Damp Proof of M/s Asian paints 2) Dr. Fixit Newcoat of M/s Pidilite 3) Brushbond Roof Guard of M/s Fosroc 4) ShaliCryl® LM HI of M/s STP Limited, all confirming to the following technical requirements: Physical / Chemical properties: Sp. Gravity : 1 +/- 0.2 Tensile strength @ 14 days : 0.5 N/mm2 to 1.0 N/mm2 Elongation : 100% minimum UV Resistant : Continuous 500 hrs (min) as per ASTM D 4587 Tested as per Manufatures specifications

(i) Over terrace slab, top of water tank and parapet etc. at all levels

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: 1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10

a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring /window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor / windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Polymer used for this work in Kg shall be measured for payment.

Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix' of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces. with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering,including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s. Fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: 1.The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 22g chickenwire mesh at his own cost. No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquiant himself with the condition of building.

Cement plastering using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal wall and ceiling finished smooth with POP over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification and removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris out side colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Enginner-in-charge.

b) 15 mm thick.

Providing and fixing precoated with high durable polyester paint G.I CRCA 0.5 mm (min) thick steel sheets manufactured by M/s. Essar/ Jindal steel sheets make in SR-25 module of Stucco fixing over RCC roof on M S frame at all floor and locations,including bending at required angle, including necessary ridges and gable ends, valley and over lapping shall be 200 mm, fixing the sheet with self tapping SS Screws fixed with machine with bituminous washers/ GI bolt of 8 mm dia. The base metal shall be CRCA Steel having minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and minimum UTS of 280 MPa, Galvanized to 120 gsm zinc coating mass (total both sides) as per I S: 277 or conforming to AS: 3566 Class 3 of rust shield/ corroshield make including grouting over RCC slab/ columns/ Cast- in- situ PCC blocks in line level and level, at all levels including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as per approved drawing and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Supplying and fixing supporting frame using Galvanised Iron section work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc. for cladding work at all levels and locations as per site condition, drawing and pattern as required at site, embedding inside masonry/ concrete wall, cutting of reinforcement if any including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position using 10 dia. Anchor fasterners of M/s Hilti and applying zinc coating of 460 gsm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 including welding and bolted with special shaped washers including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Providing and fixing structural steel using angles, flat, plates and lugs etc. at all levels and locations as per design and pattern as required at site, embedding inside masonry/ concrete wall, cutting of reinforcement if any including cost of anchor fastener wherever required ,painting structural steel with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make and one coat of approved steel primer, fabrication, welding including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Extra for making service door in head room cladding using GI steel & sheet ( GI steel & sheet will be paid under relevant item) including provoding & fixing 3 nos. haeavy duty SS hinge (100 mm size), 1 no 250 mm long heavy quality SS aldrop etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Providing & erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 75 mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope & the horizontal & vertical members of the bamboos provided as required at spacing of not more than 900 mm apart both vertically & horizontally including providing cross supports as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance/ repair works of external surfaces of buildings as &when required including providing necessary safety belts to workers,dismantling the scaffolding after repair work is completed including cost of transportation, labour, safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: The mode of measurement shall be in square metre for the overall portion of external exposed surface area of buildings covered by scaffolding and the said area shall be measured flat. No deductions shall be made for any openings in the surface and the jambs/ reveals.

a) Double Scaffolding.

Removing, repairing existing damaged / loose G.I CRCA steel sheets fixed over RCC roof on M S frame at all floor and locations,including fixing the sheet with self tapping SS Screws at maximum 600mm c/c fixed with machine with bituminous washers/ GI bolt of 8 mm dia. at all levels including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by Engineer- in- Charge. NOTE :( The new CRCA sheet, GI or MS structural steel, scaffolding required shall be paid in relevant item)
