Repair work of existing Kerfs for Secondary cable in Operational Area at SGRDJ International Airport Amritsar

Supply, filling and compaction of cold bitumen in around on existing Kerf (of size approx 30 mm width and depth upto 20 mm) of runway/taxiway at discrete locations including cleaning the area by compressor or other suitable means as required as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, filling and compaction of cold bitumen in around on existing Kerf (of size approx 30 mm width and depth upto 35 mm) of runway/taxiway at discrete locations including removing & relaying of secondary lead, removing of old existing bitumen & cleaning the area by compressor or other suitable means as required as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Filling the existing Kerf having 1 to 2 nos of secondary cables (of approx size up to 40mm deep and 30mm wide) in PQC area with Polysulphide joint sealing compound of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 including making good the damaged corners of concrete slab where reqd., supplying & inserting the back-up rod of appropriate dia, applying 2 coats of primer compatible with polysulphide, use of masking tape etc. and tooled to give a neat finish to the applied sealant, including removal of old sealing compound, baker rod, cleaning the dust by compressor or other suitable means etc & disposal of scrap material as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Filling the existing Kerf having 3 to 4 nos of secondary cables (of approx size up to 50mm deep and 40 mm wide) in PQC area with Polysulphide joint sealing compound of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 including making good the damaged corners of concrete slab where reqd., supplying & inserting the back-up rod of appropriate dia, applying 2 coats of primer compatible with polysulphide, use of masking tape etc. and tooled to give a neat finish to the applied sealant, including removal of old sealing compound, baker rod, cleaning the dust by compressor or other suitable means etc & disposal of scrap material as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Filling of existing Kerf having 1-2 nos of secondary cables (of approx size upto 25 mm deep and 40 mm wide ) with premixed stone dust/ coarse sand, 2% of cement by weight and hot bitumen of grade VG-30 i/c cleaning the Kerf with air blower & removal of any loose material, applying tack coat, ramming etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-In-charge.

Filling of existing Kerf having 3-4 nos of secondary cables (of approx size upto 35 mm deep and 35 mm wide ) with premixed stone dust/ coarse sand, 2% of cement by weight and hot bitumen of grade VG-30 i/c cleaning the Kerf with air blower & removal of any loose material, applying tack coat, ramming etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-In-charge.

Refinishing with concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 sand, 4 coarse aggregate) projected surface of existing housing box near approach/runway / taxiway shoulder/apron in soft soil/ Hard surface and needs cements finish on the top of approx size 630mm x 630mm etc., after removing of existing damaged plaster & disposal of debries at a lead of atleast 50 mtrs as reqd as per direction of Enginner-in charge .

Making of suitable size of 01 no hole for entry of secondary cable using welding set etc as per site requirement in the existing housing boxes in opertional area.

Supply of Sodium Bicarbonate (EP/USP) ultra coarse granular, used to clean lenses etc. of Airport Ground Ligthting through cleaning equipment (compressor). 01 No. (01 bag) contains 25 kg Sodium Bicarbonate Powder. (Make Tata Chemicals or equivalent).

Supply of 2X4 sq.mm secondary lead made out of multi stranded copper conductor, EPR insulalted PCP sheathed, 600V grade cable as specified in particular specification and as required.

Supply of 2 x 4 sqmm, 600 V grade plug (male part) and receptacle (Female part) of type II, class 'B' connector and suitable field attachment with EPR insulated, PCP sheathed, two core copper conductor secondary cable as required. Note: (1 set consists of 01 no of male part & 01 no of female part.) (Make: Bildal or equivalent).

Note: 1. Rate quoted shall be inclusive of any taxes, duties, Cess, fee, royalty charges etc. levied under any statute but exclusive of GST. Goods & Services Tax (GST) shall be paid to the contractor for any taxable supply/ services/works against a valid tax invoice as per terms and conditions of the contract. 2. Being execution of work in operational area of airport, nos. of working hours might be restricted, accordingly contractor has to quote considering all these factors as per SCC. Minimum 04 nos. skilled manpower and vehicle for transportation of manpower and material will be provided during execution of the work. On this account, any claim for extra payment shall not be entertained.
