Sch 'A' Sec-XII (Miscellaneous Items) Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.

Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any , transportation ,taxes,etc. for area filling / area development upto MGL level including raising of original ground level upto MGL by approved earth and including spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer ,watering , compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc. Notes: (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from out side MOD land of any lead, at his own own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES part-II on serial page No-21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment /traverse of filled earth after consolidation /compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity /partial quantity of earth may not be available in Tezu Area. The contractor has to bring the earth from out side area and it is advised to quote the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved.

Supplying and laying of 32 mm outer dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceiling or laying in floors/trenches including special fittings like CPVC Brass fittings (Brass elbow, Brass Tee, Male threaded brass adaptor, Female threaded brass adaptor) complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying of 20 mm outer dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceiling or laying in floors/trenches including special fittings like CPVC Brass fittings (Brass elbow, Brass Tee, Male threaded brass adaptor, Female threaded brass adaptor) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix cromium plated health faucet suitable for 20 mm outer dia of CPVC pipe with 1.2m long flexible tube and wall hook including making connections complete all as specified and directed.

Stone dust in floors or paving laid in layers spread thickness 75mm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Material, labour and applying road marking paint 3mm thick, retro-reflective type of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cleaning the road surface and remove all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as per direction.complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix reflective polycarbonate road stud/Cat Eye made from ABS material, dynamically designed having high impact strength of size 100 x 100 x 18.5mm and fitted with 2 Nos. highly reflective reflectors and two Nos Eye balls each on both side, fixed with adhesive in road surface as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix solar road studs/cat eye of minimum size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm made from aluminium alloy and powered by mono crystaline solar panel with one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery, provide with LED's -10mm, 03 pieces on each side and total 6 pieces are used for high brightness with backup 12 hours of continuous light and fixed with adhesive or as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation of rubberized speed breakers curve type made by natural rubber of size 500 x 350 x 50mm installed alternately in black and yellow colour, installation done by anchor fastener and adhesive or as per manufacturers instruction.

Material and labour for Drilling trial bore hole by ODEX full casing method through any kind of soil, boulder rock for a bore of 200mm dia tube well as required as per site condition upto 150m depth as per IS-2800 including disposal of soil from the site complete all as specified and directed. (Note: This item will be considered for payment if borewell is not successfull at site as directed by the Engr-in-charge)

(II) Boring to any depth beyond 150 mtrs if required at site shall be carried out with prior approval of Accepting Officer and shall be paid under item No.11.13 above. (III) Electrical Geographical logging of the bore holes under item Sl No. 11.11 to 11.13 shall be done after completion of driling but before lowering the assembly and cost for same shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rates under item Nos 11.11 to 11.13 above. (IV) Aquifer samples to be collected during drilling and preserve in sample box for analysis and preparation of lithological log and cost for same shall deemed to be included unit quoted rates under item Nos 11.11 to 11.13 above. (v) Depth of boring at each location will be decided by the GE based on recommendation of Central Ground Water Board report. (VI) Lowering of tube well assembly shall be done by welding collar rings or by screwed and socketed ends as directed by GE.

Material and labour for assembling, lowering and fixing into bore holes, 200 mm bore, mild steel ERW (ISI marked), casing pipe having wall thickness 6mm as per IS-4270-2001 (Steel tube or water well), heavy grade, plain end, blank jointed with collar through electric resistance of high frequency induction welding for increasing of length of pipe including necessary fittings and cleaning internal and external surfaces of pipe and painting inside and outside of pipe with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose water over a coat of zinc oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for assembling, lowering and fixing into bore holes, 150 mm bore, mild steel ERW (ISI marked), casing pipe having wall thickness 6mm as per IS-4270-2001 (Steel tube or water well), heavy grade, plain end, blank jointed with collar through electric resistance of high frequency induction welding for increasing of length of pipe including necessary fittings and cleaning internal and external surfaces of pipe and painting inside and outside of pipe with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose water over a coat of zinc oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for assembling, lowering and fixing in position, 150mm bore low carbon Glavanised Steel (LCG) Strainer with continuous slot screen (V-Wire Strainer) of 0.75 to 1.00mm slot width to give an open area of 30.4% conforming to relevant IS including cleaning internal and external surfaces of pipe and painting inside and outside of pipe with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose water over a coat of zinc oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Collecting water sample in clean bottle from borewell after development by compressor for testing of physical, chemical and bacteriological test as per IS -10500 (2012) from NEIST JORHAT or any other government recognized institute and submitting the test report complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing well cap in two parts out of MS plate 6mm thick for covering tube well internal dia 200mm & 150mm depth duly welded with locking arrangement, including making holes for passing submersible cable & one run of support chain complete all as specified and directed. Note:- After complition of the work well cap will be used to keep the borewell closed untill the submersible pumping set is installed.

Material & Labour for development of tube well with air compressor as per IS : 11189-1985 of suitable capacity till sand/mud free water of potable quality is obtained and to achieve minimum discharging capacity of 61000 LPH/ Max yield complete all as specified and directed by GE. Note: - Compressor with accessories and fuel shall be arranged by the contractor at the own cost.

Material & Labour for carrying out yield test for the above bore well by continuously pumping for 16 hours to determine safe pumping yield and preperation of test sheet per hour specifying necessary parameters of testing complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Yield test of bore well shall be carried out in presence of rep of accepting officer)

Supply, fixing, commissioning and testing Pumping sets, centrifugal monoblock, electric driven, of capacity 10 HP head not less than 65 metre and discharge 650 LMP (min) operated on AC 3 phase, voltage range 380 V-433V, 50 Hz complete inclusive of starter and PCC foundation of suitable size as specified and directed.
