Taking down existing roof treatment of any type, cleaning of roof top by brooming down with wire brush scrapping down with steel scrapper and roughening surfaces of old roof and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as directed. NOTE:- Debris shall be removed outside Defence land without any extra cost to the Govt. complete all as directed.

M&L 25 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding/leveling course on roof surface for correction of slope finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering/screeding 10 mm thick on roof slab in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with liquid WPC @ 200 ml per bag of cement finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately

M&L for laying water proofing treatment using 4 mm thick APP modified membrane consisting five layers membrances with features as specified weighing not less than 3.50 kg per sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fiber @ 160 gm/Sqm laid over a coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 kg/sqm by torching the membrance and sealing the over lap by 100 mm length side and 150 mm width side all as per manufacturer instructions including joints and changes in direction be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200 ml/bag of cement curved well before laying membrance and applying two finishing coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm (each coat) complete all as specified and directed Note: (i) Irrespective of lap the net covered area will only be measured for payment. (ii) Rate is inclusive of APP membrane, SBR Latex, primer, aluminium paint etc.

Providing and applying Sika Shield W-159( Formarly Known as Sika BIT w15), of make Sika or equivalent in FOSROC/ Dr Fixit, 1.5 mm thick double sided, modified bitumen waterproofing membrane with cross laminated PE film for wet application on the RCC structure . The membrane shall be applied after making concrete wall/roof in saturated surface dry condition and applying a bonding slurry Sika Shield W-1( formarly known as Sika BIT w1) or equivalent in FOSROC/ Dr Fixit. The membrane is then unrolled and pressed into the fresh slurry after removal of the release liner. Both long and short edges of the membrane are overlapped by min. 80 mm and firmly pressed together using a roller with staggered overalps. The membrane shall have tensile strength 4 N/mm according to ASTM D412 mod; elongation 200 % according to ASTM D412 mod; resistance to tear 23 N according to ASTM D624; joint peel resistance 700 N/m according to ASTM D1876 at 23 °C; joint shear resistance 220 N according to ASTM E154 ; low temperature flexibility of -15 °C over crack tested for 100 cycles according to ASTM C836 ; resistance to lateral water migration 70 m according to ASTM D5385 mod. application with authorised applicator only all as specified and directed

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes(or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5 cum in soft/disintegrated rock, getting out, returning, filling in, watering and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and making good surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation of post holes, filling & mass concrete or in coping complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work in tubular trusses/frame work including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161-1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gussets plates, riveting, etc. n exc 10 Kg each brackets, conforming to Fe-290. Dismantling asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated etc) sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering, ridge, hip and vally gutters, fixed with self tapping screws as specified complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brick Work/ stone work / concrete block wall built in Cement Mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. of any descriptions, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete block masonry, type C-1 (1:3:6) (20 mm graded aggregate) with solid blocks, exc 10 cm in width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on walls/ concrete/roof slab any description including racking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying 20 mm thick ready mix external sand faced cement plaster with neat cement rendering at all locations in two coats on masonry (except stone masonry) and concrete surfaces with and including mixing water proofing compound to the first coat of plaster as per manufacturers specification, racking out joints, hacking of concrete surface, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick on ceiling in cement mortar 1:3 including finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying 3 mm thick putty and applying two coat of oil bound distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying one coat of alkali resistant primer on plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coat of oil bound distemper including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surface wall/ceiling by scrapping/ rubbing, applying two coat of advanced anti fungal weather proof 100% acrylic smooth emulsion with silicon additives, over a coat of fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrance (Asian paint damp proof + ultima suprema, exterior exterior anti fungal paint or equivalent), including making proper surface by applying ready mix preparatory wall care putty wherever required complete all as manufacturers instructions and as directed. Note : The application of paint shall be done by the authorised applicator of the company and also the dealer / company shall appoint a person to inspect and validate the application of enulsion in stage wise manner.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced in ground floors and pavings n.exc. 15 Cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 40 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) 75 mm thick as in sub base or in levelling course, finishing the surface even and rough to receive floor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick cement concrete type C-1 1:3:6 (using 20 mm stone graded crushed stone aggregate) as in plinth protection surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including forming construction (dummy) joints 6 mm wide & 10 mm deep and filled with filler at an interval not exceeding 3 metre and at change of direction and necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, over chajjas and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating wherever required with and including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of rust from the reinforcing bars of any size and dia to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry and applying two coats of epoxy base zinc primer in a span of 4 hrs over the treated bar and allow to dry for 6 hours complete all as directed.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material 35-45 mm average thickness from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. complete with necessary scaffolding/ staging and disposal of debris outside MD land for all lead and lifts complete all as directed.

M&L for mixing and applying polymer modified cement mortar (Sika monotop-122F or equivalent of Fosroc/ Dr. fixit/ IWL/ Ultratech Cement over Sikadur-32LP or equivalent of Fosroc/ Dr. fixit/ IWL/ Ultratech Cement as bonding agent for 35-45 mm average thickness in two or three layers complete as per manufacturer instructions and all as directed at site. NOTE:- (i) Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument. (ii) Work will be carried out by approved applicator of the firm.

M&L for drilling 12 mm dia holes upto a depth of 75 mm maximum and fixing 8 mm dia L shaped anchor rods as shear connectors at every 300 mm c/c on the surface of the columns/ beams or any other structural member as the case may be, cleaning the surface and holes using water and making surface free from dust particles. Filling the drilled and cleaned holes to a minimum depth of 2/3rd of hole with Lokfix E77, making sure the resin has reached till the end of the hole, push the shear connector gently into the hole and finish the excess resin which comes out of the hole and allow shear connectors not to be disturbed for min 20 minutes complete all as per manufacturer instruction and all as directed.

M&L for crack treatment on plastered/concrete surface of wall/ ceiling by forming ‘V’ groove of size 5 mm x 5mm along the existing crack line using electrically operated angle grinder/ concrete saw blade followed by thorough cleaning the surface using air blower as directed and sealing the groove with solvent free, moisture tolerant, thixotropic, two part structural adhesive and epoxy repair mortar cum surface leveling compound such as Conbextra EP10 (Fosroc), Sikadur(R)-31(Sika) or equivalent in Dr. Fixit/ Asian Paints complete all as per manufacturer instruction and all as directed. Note:- Work will be executed only by authorized applicator certified by the respective manufacturer.

M&L for structural repair using micro concrete including preparation of concrete surface by removing all loose/ damaged concrete/ masonry surface and cleaning exposed sound concrete and applying epoxy based bonding agent such as Notibond EP(Fosroc)/ Sikadur (R) 32(Sika) or equivalent in Dr. Fixit/ Asian Paints including providing formwork/shuttering to prevent leakage during placement. Mixing and placing ready to use, non shrink, flowable micro-concrete such as Renderoc RG (Fosroc), SikaRep (R) Microcrete-4 equivalent in Dr. Fixit/ Asian Paints by pouring or pumping into prepared surface complete all as per manufacturer instruction and all as directed. Note:- Work will be executed only by authorized applicator certified by the respective manufacturer.

M&L for applying one coat of primer under two coats of smartcare PU Aqua of Asian paint or equivalent in Sika, fosroc and applying one coat of exterior emulsion paint to match the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting down the plants/ trees of girth n.exc. 15 cm from roof tops/ sides of external walls of building, chajja, wall junctions & at junctions of rain water/ waste water pipes including taking out the roots entered into wall/ slab surfaces, making good surfaces with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 or cement mortar (1:2) including repairing the GI/ CI/ PVC pipe joints which were affected due to cutting/ taking out process after applying suitable herbicide including making good the disturbed surfaces to match the adjoining surfaces complete with necessary scaffolding/ staging/ Jhula etc, with all necessary safety precautions complete all as directed and as specified.

Removing building materials by truck or tractor with using of if necessary JCB machine and trolly load min 5.00 Cum each load for upto 10.00 km including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination and depositing out side defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down shutters of any description not exc. 1 sqm each and refixing in same opening after easing and adjusting including refixing builders hardware as required and renewal of screws etc. complete all as specified and directed

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1 sqm & n. exc 2 sqm each and refixing in same opening after easing and adjusting including refixing builders hardware as required and renewal of screws etc. complete all as specified and directed

S&F aluminium alloy wire cloth, 0.45 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40 mm and fixed with aluminium wire staples complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to existing sunken floor by carring out the following courses :- (i) Demolition of sunken floor filling and removing / depositing the same at a distance n. exc. 250 m away from the outer edge of bldg complete all as directed

(ii) M&L for applying two coats of epoxy resin coating polymer modified coating to a thickness of 1 mm for each coat incl. preparation thoroughly without any traces of dirt or laitance as in sunken floors using NITOBOND Chemical First coat 1:2:3 (Nitobond 1 Ltrs : water 2 Ltrs : Cement 3 Kg) and NITOBOND Chemical second coat 1:3 (Nitobond 1 Ltrs : Cement 3 Kg) complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) M&L 15 mm thick protective plastering in CM 1:4 mixed with and including liquid water proofing compound @ 200 ml per bag of cement finished the surface fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for filling brick bats of gauge not exc. 63 mm as in sunken floor complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sunken floor complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair vitreous china squatting pan Orissa pattern size 580 x 440 mm white with front or back inlet, integral foot rest and providing lime concrete bedding and connecting to flusing cistern complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition/breaking of drain pipes laid in trenches in foul condition of 160 mm dia. complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) pipe 160 mm bore, type 'A', single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints and jointed with approved adhesive and fixed to walls in foul condition complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 160 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc.), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including necessary form work, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. (Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of schedule 'A').

Cleaning and dewatering of septic tanks of any size or depth including cleaning outlet and inlet chambers, outlet/ inlet pipes, grills etc. of any description and removing mud/ solid sludge and finally washing with water for smooth functioning incl. removing sludge out side MOD land at places approved by Municipal authorities by Manual means complete all as directed. NOTE:- (i) Septic tank cleared and measured once will not be measured again within next six months.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep in hard/dense soil for foundation, etc. or for laying of pipe line/ cable etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading watering and well raming in layer excedding 25 cm each in any type of soil/rock complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (Soils/rock) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (including backing), removing tiles and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square or rectangular) area of each tiles exceeding 0.06 Sqm but not exceeding 0.11 Sqm as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles laid over & including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles digitally printed of size 450 x 300 x 7 mm thick in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the existing surface with & including rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 finished rough to fix tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for double charged vitrified ceramic tiles 9-10 mm thick (square/rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 Sqm as in floor etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles laid over & including screed 20 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 finished rough to fix tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of sewage line 150/200 mm diameter and any description including in between manholes, manually or mechanically to clear the sludge/ blockage inside the sewage line and manholes by taking of mud/ sludge water/ night soil, salted soil and flushing with water to drain out sludge etc. to ease the flow of sewage including removing the sludge from site and re-fixing manhole covers properly complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Line cleared and measured once will not be measured again within next two months. In case of blockage re-occur in the same line within two months contractor will clear the same without any extra cost to the Govt.
