TENDERER SHALL ENSURE WARRANTY FOR 84 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF SUPPLY OR 72 MONTHS FROM FITMENT,WHICHEVER IS EARLIER.DURING WARRANTY,THE TENDERER SHALL RECTIFY THE EQUIPMENT BY REPLACING OR REPAIRING COMPONENTS AT HIS COST. THE WARRANTY PERIOD WOULD GET EXTENDED ON A PRO- RATA BASIS IF WARRANTY REPLACEMENT/REPAIRS IS NOT PROVIDED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF NOTICE.IF TENDERER FAILS TO PROVIDE WARRANTY IN 5 DAYS OF NOTICE,RAILWAY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL BALANCE CONTRACT.

   In case of MSE firm willing to claim the benefits under Public Procurement Policy (Preference to MSE) order 2012, the firm should upload with their offer, the proof of their being MSE registered with any of the agencies mentioned in para 1.15.1 of Bid document, failing which such offers will not be liable for consideration of benefits detailed in para 1.15 of Bid document. Tenderers shall upload valid documents as per MSE policy showing that the enterprise is owned by Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST)/women entrepreneurs to claim the benefit under these sub classification. For this purpose tenderers to submit details of share holding pattern & controlling stakes with Scheduled castes (SC)/ Scheduled castes (ST)/women entrepreneurs duly certified by CA, failing which it will be presumed that they have no claim under this sub-classification.

    Safety Clause: The Contractor shall ensure strict adherence to following: 1 All safety regulations as mandated by the Factories Act, 1948, Punjab Factories Rules 1952, Contract labour (Regulations and Abolition Act. 1970), Punjab Labour Welfare Act 1965, Employees State Insurance Act 1948, The employees provident fund and miscellaneous Provisions Act. 1952, Payment of Wages Act 1952, The payment of wages Act, 1936, Workman Compensation Act - 1923 etc. or latest. 2. Providing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety helmets, gloves, eye protection and respiratory devices, ensuring they meet relevant Indian Standards. All personnel must undergo a mandatory two-day technical /safety training program at a Technical Training Center, RCF, before commencing work, covering operational safety procedures, emergency response and proper PPE usage. 3. For tasks involving work at heights including poles, building structures, coach tops, sides walls and interiors, the Contractor must supply appropriate safety belts or full-body harnesses compliant with IS 3521:1999 standards and establish secure anchorage points capable of Supporting 2 minimum dead weight of 2,000 kilograms. 4. Regular safety audits and inspections are to be conducted with records maintained and available for review. In the event of any accident or near-miss incident, immediate reporting to the principal employer and relevant authorities is mandatory or his authorized representative i.e. SSE/Safety (safety officer), followed by a thorough investigation and implementation of corrective actions to avoid in future. 5. Failure to comply with these safety provisions may result in penalties, including financial deductions, suspension of work or termination of the contract, depending on the severity of the violation.
