CLEANING OF UG SUMPS , OHT AND REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OF CONTROL VALVES AT AF STN NAL

Cleaning of Raw water reservoir of size 102m x 40m x 8m, 60 Lakh gallon capacity by dewatering existing water by pumping set and removing of accumulated sand/ sludge/ dust particles by mechanically or manually using requisite T & P by scrapping inside wall and bottom of the reservior by steel wire brush to remove raw material, grass/ fungus and transport it to out side the installation complex & outside cantonment area upto 10 Kms distance for disposal at low lying area at his own arrangment , including cleaning/washing of interiror surface using high grade bleaching powder and lime mixed water and writing the date of cleaning in bold letters as CLEANED ON DD//MM/YYYY ,height and width of each letter 10 cm and 5 cm respectively with synthetic enamel paint on white painted background on external wall of reservior complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-chrage. Note : (i) Contractor shall make his own arrangement for dewatering by diesel driven engine pump without any extra cost. (ii) Necessary safety precaution should be taken during currency of work. as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii)Approx dry sand/ sludge Qty is 200 Cum, and may varry after draining. No extra should be paid on this account. (iv) Location for discharge will be approved by Enginner-in-charge. (v) Care should be taken by contractor while working in the resiorvoir and if damage occur during operation will be make good by the contractor at his own cost.

All as per ser item No 1 here-in-before but size 45x 22.5m x12m, 30 lakhs gallon capacity.

Cleaning of Static water tanks of size 3 meter dia and 2.5 mtr deep duly draining the water, taking up and throwing mud/silt away from site as directed and applying two coats of white wash and writing the date of cleaning in bold letters as CLEANED ON DD//MM/YYYY ,height and width of each letter 10 cm and 5 cm respectively with synthetic enamel paint on white painted background on external wall of SWT complete all as specified and directed both in Techinical and domestic area of AF Stn Nal and including dismantling the grill for cleaning work and refixing the same after completion of job include painting with two coat of synthetic enamel paint is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Cleaning of Over head tanks capacity 25,000.00 gallons of height approx 60 feet by under taking the cleaning in two stage process are as under :- Note : Writing the date of cleaning in bold letters as CLEANED ON DD//MM/YYYY ,height and width of each letter 10 cm and 5 cm respectivelywith synthetic enamel paint on white painted background on external wall /pillar of OHT complete all as specified and directed. (a) Descalling the inner surface by using high pressure rotary jets, mannualy by wire brush, pumping out the mud, algae and other dust particles by suction pump and industrial vaccum cleaner. (b) Treatment walls, roof and floor by bleaching powder and wash out the same after treatment process complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item no 04 above but 50000 gallons capacity.

Cleaning of 1 x 100000 Glns capacity at Booster Pump House ,UG Sumps of depth upto 4 Mtr below ground level by under taking the cleaning in two stage process are as under :- (a) Descalling the inner surface by using high pressure rotary jets, mannualy by wire brush, pumping out the mud, algae and other dust particles by suction pump and industrial vaccum cleaner. (b) Treatment walls, roof and floor by bleaching powder and wash out the same after treatment process and writing the date of cleaning in bold letters with synthetic enamel paint on white painted background on external wall complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item no 07 above but of 1 x 150000 Glns capacity at Filtration Plant

All as per srl item no 07 above but of 50000 Glns capacity at Old Booster Pump House & Nal Pump House .

All as per srl item no 07 above but Jack Wells of capacity 5000 ltrs to 10000 ltrs capacity of depth up to 5 Mtr.

Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose surface including clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, leveling & water spreading and removing rubbish, upto a distance of 50 meters outside the periphery of the area under clearance all as directed by EIC

M & L for prepration of old painted steel surface in MS Structure plant by scretching by wire brushes of steel surface over width or girth for Cast Iron pipe lines ( approx lenghth 80 RM) of overhead tanks ,including rising mains, gravity, mains overflow pipe, wash out pipe & Header (02 Nos),CI valves (4 Nos) ,Pit covers(4 Nos) & MS Pipe (25 mtr) and Panel Board (02 Nos) etc by applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as per colour code decided by Engineer-in Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The rates is inclusive of all necessary safety equipment and arrangement like stagging , safety harness , rope & safety jackets etc. (ii) Necessary safety measures shall be ensure by the contractor, during the currency of work. (iii) writing the date of cleaning in bold letters as CLEANED ON DD//MM/YYYY ,height and width of each letter 10 cm and 5 cm respectively

M & L for prepration of old painted steel surface by scraping of old dull paints from the surface by scretching by wire brushes of steel surface over width or girth to SWT's tanks of any capacity including Inlet pipe, wash out pipe etc and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as per colour code decided by Engineer-in Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The rates is inclusive of all necessary safety equipment and arrangement like stagging , safety harness , rope & safety jackets etc. (ii) Necessary safety measures shall be ensure by the contractor, during the currency of work.

M&L painting Motor & pump set of capacity upto 60 HP at site including to all accessories by Scrapping out the existing paint and spray painting with one coat of approved quality synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete and writing SM No & MES No. with letter size 10 mm and height 75 mm with black colour on white base complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repairs sluice valve 150 mm dia class PN 1.0 ISI marked ( IS 14846) flanged end with iron wheel and stainless steel spindle including rubber gasket joints, nuts, bolts etc including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repairs sluice valve 100 mm dia class PN 1.0 ISI marked ( IS 14846) flanged end with iron wheel and stainless steel spindle including rubber gasket joints, nuts, bolts etc including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repairs sluice valve 80 mm dia class PN 1.0 ISI marked ( IS 14846) flanged end with iron wheel and stainless steel spindle including rubber gasket joints, nuts, bolts etc including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repairs Non Return valve with bypass arrangement Class PN 1.0, size 150 mm bore pipe include nuts & bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repairs Non Return valve with bypass arrangement Class PN 1.0, size 80 mm bore pipe include nuts & bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Applying two coats of water proofing admixture of the make /brand : Aquaseal/Sikatop Seal R-107 /Acrocrete /Dampguard (Pidilite) on plastered surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Quantity of admixture shall be as per manufacturer's instructions. Note : Remove all scales by mechinical means or mannually, before applying the treatment to surfaces of Tanks . (Location : UG Sumps/ SWT/ OH Tanks & Jack wells)

Takiing out old unserviceable Motorised valve of size 150mm bore fitted on Booster Pump Header by arranging alternative arrangement and carry out repair to valve and replacement of defective PCB, Motor Coil, Water seal, lock key and other connected items and re-fixing the valve and motor in original position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Spare parts shall be of the the same make existing. (ii) Contractor shall provide alternative arrangement during repair work to avoid uninterupted water supply and the unit quoted rate shall incude the usage thereof.
