Improvement of imported Worcester (ALLEY & MACLELLAN) make 1100mm dia sluice valve of rising main No. 1 by carrying out following jobs:- Complete removal of upper dome, gland box by cutting the same with gas cutter & taking out upper parts with the help of departmental EOT from the valve i/c nut bolts & washer of upper dome by spanners and gas cutter with taking all safety precaution.
Making arrangement for dewatering to meet any emergency during execution of the job.
Closing of top with dead flange for operating purpose & dead top end with dead flange of existing size with packing & reqd. nut bolts etc.
Replacement of CI flap and fixing of GM ring as per original.
Replacement of CI gland plate as per original.
Providing / Fixing of SS spindle with GM nut & CI wheel etc. (as per original).
Providing / Fixing of MS nut bolts and washers and packing etc. as required to complete the job.
Fitment / re-assembling of all parts with the help of EOT tightening of fasteners, loading / unloading making of all safety provision during execution of work as per requirement.
Testing & commissioning on load i/c all cartage & contingency, tools & tackles etc. as per site requirement under the supervision of engineer-in-charge & as per NHRC guidelines.
