Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of each tender and the employer will in no case be responsibleand liable for those costs. The department is not responsible for any delay in accessing e-procurement portal

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Acceptence / Cancellation of the works are reserved by under signed without any reasons for the same.

Executive Engineer PRED Koppal has authority to accept or reject any tender without assigning reason.

Corrigendum / modifications / correction, if any, will be published in the website only.

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per Technical and Financial bid attached to this tender.

Incomplete / conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tender may be cancelled at any stage without assigning any reason

Any objection regarding the tender must be submitted directly to Executive Engineer , not in inward.

For interpretations of clauses, conditions, spelling mistakes, etc., decision of Executive Engineer, PRED, Koppal is final.

Successful bidder submitting bids below the amount put to tender will be regularized to submit the difference amount in the form of FDR/TDR/DD/Pledge on the name of EE PRED Koppal within 20 days from the date of receiving the letter of acceptance. additional security paid for unbalanced tenders Failing which EMD will be forfeited and further action will be taken as per G O No FD PCL 2008 Bangalore Dated 14/10/2008.

Work shall be executed as per KTPP Act & Tender Conditions

The Time period for completion of the work is 9 Months including rainy season

The work Should be completed within the stipulated time period from the date of issue of work order including rainy season

After completion of the work third party/SQM/DQM/inspection reports submit with the bills

Contractors should have to upload the scanned copy of all necessaryqualifcation documents, and submit the original documents certifcatesafter opening the tender for evalution and verifcation

Within 20 days of receipt of Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderershall deliver to the employer a Security Deposit in the form of NSC/DD/ FDRin favour of the Executive Engineer, P.R.E. Division, Koppal, for an amountequivalent to 5 percent of the Contract price plus additional security forunbalanced tenders in accordance with the conditions of contract

Self declaration of machineries are not accepted

Third party inspection is mandatory for all the works in this programme.

The Furnished E.M.D. will be released only after successful execution of theTender Agreement by the successful Tenderer or bid validity days from thedate of submission of Tender whichever is earlie

The successful tenderer shall maintain the work during the defect liability period of 1 year from the date of completion of the Work

The Tenderer at his own responsibility and risk is encouraged to visit andexamine the Site of Works and its surroundings and obtain all informationthat may be necessary for preparing the Tender and entering into a contractfor construction of the Works. The cost of visiting the Site shall be at theTenderers own expense

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD 300 LET 2006 BangaloreDated 01/01/2007 and Government Letter No.PW 134 BMS 2007 Dated27/7/2007 a sum amounting to 1 percent of the bill amount will bededucted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund

The tenderer should quote his rates with all lead and lifts, loading andunloading including cost of labour, hire charges of machinaries and otherincidental charges etc complete as per specifcation and directions of theEngineer incharge of the work

All other conditions and requirements has to be fulflled as per the KW 4 Standard Bid Document

It is to be noted that any false documentation found to be uploaded, actionmay attract punitive measures such as Blacklisting, Cancellation o fRegistration etc

The GST will be paid separately to the Contractors as per the Guidelines of the Government

The work shall be inspected by the Third Party and the bill shall be admitted only after the satisfactory quality reports from the Third Party

All safety precautions, warnings, signs, deployment of security guards haveto be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity

All materials required for the work, shall be procured by the tenderer himselfand should be got tested by the Department quality control authorities athis own cost before use for the work. If employer wishes to engage thirdparty inspecting agency for the said work, apart from the quality controlauthorities, then the contractor should cooperate with the third party for test

In the case of death of the contractor after executing the agreement/commencement of the work, his legal heir, if is an eligible registeredcontractor and is willing, can execute and complete the work at theaccepted tender rates in the same terms and conditions of the contractor of the work

General

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Owning the following key and critical equipment for this work (xxxx, xxxx, xxxx)
