Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka 1 of 10 e procurement

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes as per prevailing Government Orders.

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and Government Letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1%of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes as per prevailing Government Orders

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts, lab our, hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, and all other incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the direction of Engineer in charge of this work.

The Tenderer shall obtain the work done certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer (District Level Officer)and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid. The Original Certificate/Certificates shall be produced at the time of opening of technical Bids for physical verification.

The tenderer shall note that the scanned Documents can also be uploaded in the tasks created under Document/Evidence Required from the Bidder

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason

The Department is not responsible for any delay in accessing e procurement portal

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2 : Instructions to Tenderer I T T will only be considered for evaluation

To Qualify for award of this contract, each bidder should give all details and documents as per technical and financial bid attached to this tender

The bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of each tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

All materials required for this work shall be procured by the bidder himself 2 of 10 e procurement and should got tested by the quality control authorities at his own cost before use on the work.

The tenderer should maintain the Road during the Maintenance period of 12 Months.

Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2024-25 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee into the respective receiving bank accounts of e Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

The Tenderer should be a PWD Registered Class IV & above contractor.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the standard tender documents KW-1 KPWD and further orders thereon.

Maintenance Period is 12 months (including monsoon.)

EMD Rs. 50,000.00 By epayment infavour of Executive Engineer PWD Division Karwar.

Successful bidder should produce 5% of the Contract price plus difference amount for unbalanced tenders in accordance with Clause 25.5 of ITT and Clause 44 of the Conditions of Contract.

Any deviation / error / mistake found in units of items, they should be read as in the unified SR 2023-24 and the rates shall be quoted accordingly.

Qualification and experience of the key technical and management personnel in permanent employment with the tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Engageing Mazdoor for Maintenance and Supervision of Road. And provided Mazdoor must have Motor Cycle and should adhere to the requirements of RTO

For sub Estimate -2 in the tender i.e. Engaging mazdoor for maintenance and supervision of road the contractor should not quote below rates however if he quotes below rates then he has to pay to the mazdoor as per the schedule of rates or minimum wages act and should follow all labour rules and regulation and as per the direction of Engineer incharge

The Estimate rates are inclusive of 18% GST

Mazdoor shall carryout necessary works for maintenance of roads as per the directions of concerned Section officer / Assistant Executive Engineer in addition to the works carried out by the contractor as per the BOQ.

Mazdoor shall monitor the unauthorized excavation of Roads / activities in the section of road assigned to him and bring them to the notice of the concerned Section ofcer / Assistant Executive Engineer immediately.

All necessary tools for maintenance of Road such as spade, pickaxe, pan, and sickle shall be provided to the Mazdoor by the Contractor entrusted 3 of 10 e procurement with maintenance of Road.

The Mazdoor shall work on all days except the weekly rest on Sundays.

To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last five years i.e., 2019-20 - 2023-24. Achieved in at least Two Financial years a minimum annual financial turnover Rs.19.99 Lakhs (UDIN is preferred in Turnover certificate)
