PROVISION OF CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT IN BUILDING FOR AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM ASRS AT MANKHURD MUMBAI

Design , Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Chilled water type Air Conditioning plant complete with all accessories all as specified below in building for ASRS for area hatched in the drawing and marked as AC to meet design parameters given in Appendix - J comprising of the following:

(A) Chiller Unit: Supplying, Installing, testing & commissioning of VFD Driven twin Screw type water chilling machine meeting ECBC norms each having a Actual capacity of 150 TR (min) at chilled water inlet/ outlet temperature of 54/44 DegF with chilled water circulation rate of 360 USGPM (min) & condenser water inlet/outlet temperature of 87°F/97°F with circulation rate of 570 USGPM (min) or as per OEM suitable for stepless continuous capacity from 100% to 25% & operation on refregerant R- 134a/R410A/407c for screw type machine each comprising of the following complete as per specifications & as required. (i) Multiple/ Single Screw type helical rotary compressor semi-hermatic complete with automatic capacity control, safety switches, speed increasing gears, forced feed lubrication system etc. as per specifications. The chiller to meet minimum COP & IPLV requirement as per ASHREA and be ARI 550/590 certified. IPLV. SI value upto 9.2, IPLV IP shall be less than 0.38 KW/TR (AHRI Condition).

(ii) Shell and Tube type Water cooled condenser with MS shell and copper tubes complete with safety valve to match the capacity of compressor. - 1 No. (iii) Shell and Tube type evaporator with enhances surface seamless copper tubes and removable water heads. (iv) Suitable capacity squirrel cage induction motor with class 'B' insulation suitable for operation on 415±10% volts, 3-phase, 50Hz A.C. supply. (v) Close transition type automatic VFD with AHF suitable for compressor motor complete with over load protection, under voltage protection, protection against phase reversal, independent single phase preventors, timer control & trip circuit with sensing elements for HP/LP/Anti-Freeze etc. complete as required. Necessary drive arrangement (vi) Lubrication device oil strainer, automatic pressure regulating valve, oil heater, oil heater thermal switch etc. as per specificaitons of OEM. (vii) 1 Lot- Refrigerant piping fittings, valves and accessories to inter connect compressor, condenser, chiller and expansion valve.

(viii) 1 Set- Microprocessor based Digital Coloured control panel with alpha-numeric display in English for all operating parameters such as supply voltage, frequency, load current,chilled water inlet, chilled water outlet,condenser inlet & outlet temperature parameters,operating pressures etc. complete with accessories as per specifications. (ix) Lot- Refrigerant line accessories comprising of safety valves, angle valve, liquid line indications, liquid level control etc. (x) Lot- Water flow switches at inlet and outlet of condenser & chiller, water drain & air purge valves wherever required. (xi)Lot- Suction line and chiller insulation with minimum 19mm thick polvinyl nitrile rubber insulation finished with 0.63mm thick G.S.S. cladding complete as required. (xii) Lot- Frame work (including victaulic couplings at the inlet & outlet of evaporator & condenser; & painting of all components) for mounting the above condenser, chiller compressor and motor with base plate complete with antivibration pads/ springs. (xiii) Lot- Initial / first charge of refrigerant gas & compressor oil chiller Sound Level should be less than 70 dBA @ 1m or else suitable sound reduction treatment for compliance requred. Refrigerant piping shall be factory assembled as per the specifications/OEM. Make: Carrier/Bluestar/Voltas/Trane/Daikin.

Quantity: 3 Sets (Two nos working chillers & one standby chiller) (B) Condenser Water Storage and Circulating System: Design Parameters Condenser water inlet Temp - 32.22 °C Condenser water outlet Temp - 36.39 °C Condenser Water flow - 3.79 gpm/ton Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Monoblock Pump Condenser water pump set capable of delivering 570 USGPM of water against 24 metres head each comprising of the following and complete as per specifications and as required: (i) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Horizontal split casing condenser water centrifugal pump sets with bronze impeller for condenser water recirculation complete with TEFC ,3 phase squirrel.cage induction motor with class "F" insulation working on 415 volts AC base plate, coupling guard, vibration isolators, SSshaft,factory fitted mechanical seal, flexible pipe connector at inlet and outlet etc. conforming to technical specification and Compatible with above chiller unit of suitable H.P considering flow rate nearly 3 gpmlton and as per OEM -03 No. (each of 50% capacity, 02 No. working +01 No as standby). Make-Kirlosker/ KSB/ Beacon/ Crompton

(ii) 1 No.- for Suitable HP TEFC squirrel cage induction motor with BHP rating 15% higher than the peak capacity suitable with class 'F' insulation , 1450 rpm speed, operating on 415±10% volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. (iii) Lot - Mounting frame with Antivibration Neoprene rubber pads, coupling coupling guard etc. All the pumps mentioned above shall also be complete with mechanical seals and drain connections. Lot- RCC/ Cement concrete foundation with Isolation Neoprene rubber pads for pump unit Make: Kirloskar/ Beacon/ KSB/ Crompton Quantity - 03 sets (02 working + 01 standby) (C) Chilled Water supply System Supplying, erection, testing and commisioning of Monoblock Pump set capable of delivering 360 USGPM of water against a head of 32 mtr. Each pump shall comprise of following as required as per specification.

(i) 1 No. - Horizontal split casing water centrifugal pump sets with bronze impeller for chilled water recirculation complete with TEFC 3 phase sq.cage induction motor with class "F" insulation working on 415 volts AC base plate, coupling guard, vibration isolators, SS shaft factory fitted mechanical seal, flexible pipe connector at inlet and outlet etc. conforming to technical specification and compatible with above chiller unit of suitable H.P considering flow rate nearly 2 gpmlton and min efficiency as per OEM -03 Nos. (each of 50% capacity, (02 No. working & 01 No. as standby). The ChilIed water pumps shall also include cost of thermal insulation. (ii) 1 No.- for Suitable HP , TEFC squirrel cage induction motor with BHP rating 15% higher than the peak capacity suitable with class 'F' insulation , 1450 rpm speed, operating on 415±10% volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. (iii) Lot- Expanded polystrene (TF Quality) insulation of not less than 50mm thick & density not less than 20kg/cu.m duly cladded between aluminium sheets of 0.5mm thickness and properly clamped to pump in two semicircular sections as per specifications. (iv) Lot- Mounting frame work with anti vibration Rubber pads, coupling coupling guard etc.. (v) Lot - RCC/ Cement concrete foundation with Isolation Neoprene rubber pads for pump unit. All the pumps mentioned above shall also be complete with mechanical seals and drain connections. Make: Kirloskar/ Beacon/KSB/Crompton.

(D) Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of FRP Induced draft Cooling Tower of total capacity 360 TR Twin/four cell type complete with FRP basin/sump , PVC fillings, statically & dynamically balanced fan weather proof TEFC motor suitable for outdoor applications, suction screen , make up make up & quick fill arrangement, over flow & drain connection, float valve, FRP made Aerodynamic Type Axial Propeller Fan ,suitable MS/GI ladder etc. & Confirming to standard specification.The max allowable sound power at a distance of one mtr from the cooling tower shall be less than 75 db. Inlet Water Temperature 87 °F Outlet Water Temperature 97 °F Lot- RCC/Cement concrete foundation alongwith MS structure. (E) Automatic Tube Cleaning Systems:-Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of Automatic Tube Cleaning Systems (Ball type) having common controller for monitoring and operating ATCS for 3 Nos Chillers with ancillary components & touch screen controller PLC panel for automatic operation. It shall consist of:Ball trap Ball collector Ball injection and collection skid consisting of: seperate injection pump with motor, Seperate collection pump with motor, Necessary electrically operated motorised control valves, Control Panel with PLC & HMIHMI on the control panel - Multicolor 7" touch screen typeFlanged end manual ball valves, Pressure guages, Cleaning Sponge balls etc. Quantity : 03 Sets Make: Energeo / Zedbee / Taprogge. (F) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning HDPE water tank of suitable capacity not less than 5000 ltr, ISI marked (three layer, cylindrical vertical with closed top) complete with inlet, outlet and overflow connection and float valves etc. including GI pipe, medium grade, complete with fitting valves etc for connecting cooling tower sump and storage tank all as required and specified. Make of water tank-Syntex/Polycab and GI pipe Make-Tata/Jindal/Sail NOTE - Necessary platform for make up water tank and connected pipes and piping shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted against above item. (G) HOT WATER GENERATOR SET (i) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Hot water Generator having capacity of 250KW in multiple bank complete with controls, electrical panels etc. confirming to standard technical specifications inlet water Temp - 30 ͦC outlet water Temp -50 ͦC, Make: Rpidcool, KEPL, Daspass. (ii) Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Mono block type Hot water pump set capable of delivering required flow as per OEM of water against 30 mtrs head each comprising of the following and complete as per specifications and as required: 1 No. - End Suction type centrifugal pump with bronze impeller. (iii) 1 No.- for Suitable HP TEFC squirrel cage induction motor with BHP rating 15% higher than the peak capacity suitable with class 'F' insulation , 1450 rpm speed, operating on 415±10% volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. (iv) Lot - Mounting frame with Antivibration Neoprene rubber pads, coupling couplingguard etc.

All the pumps mentioned above shall also be complete with mechanical seals, rubber flexible connections with M.S. flanges etc. and drain connections. (H) Double Skinned Air Handling Units Double Skin floor mounted AHU with Pre filters and heating coil : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning Factory made Double Skin chilled water Air Handling Unit floor mounted fabricated out of extruded aluminium section with 0.6 mm pre-plasticized/ pre-coated galvanized steel sheet outside and 0.6 mm galvanized steel sheet inside with DlDW Backward curved centrifugal blower in MS Construction, blower section, fan and fan section, fan motor TEFC type suitable for operation on 415 volts ,50 Hz +5% AC supply 6 row (design to be got approved from accepting officer before placing order) cooling coil and 2 row heating coil made of aluminium finned copper tube MS header with coil section, pre filter section with non woven synthetic media of 10 micron particle size with an efficiency of 90 % polished stainless steel drain pan made out of 22 G sheet duly insulated complete with motor, belt drive packaged, guard etc. without face and bypass dampers.

The AHU Panels shall be insulated with 23 +/-2 mm thick and 40 kg/m’ density PU foam. The motor and blower assembly shall be mounted on Aluminium extruded section only. The complete AHU shall conform to standard specification. The face velocity across cooling/ heating coil shall be limited to 137 MPM max face velocity across pre filters 152 MPM, max fan outlet velocity- 487 FPM, max fan speed -1000 RPM, max fan motor speed -1500 RPM. The capacity of air handlers shall be decided corresponding to volume of air to be handled for achieving the desired inside condition. (b) The AHU room are at different levels. The sizes of AHU rooms are clearly marked on drg. Vendors may use all the rooms or less but catering to full dehumidified air qty. In case AHU rooms are not sufficient, ceiling suspended/outdoor type AHUs may be considered to meet the desired condition. (c) Heating and dehumidification to be carried out with Hot water only. No strip heaters are acceptable.

(J) Chilled Water Piping (i) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning Chilled water piping and fitting of MS class C of sizes 25mm to 200mm dia, asd of required quantity as per site requirement, insulated with Rigid sections of expanded polystyrene of uniform density of 24 Kgs/m3, 50 mm thick finished with aluminium sheet of 26 SWG for interconnection and recirculating water between chiller unit, chilled water pump, expansion tank and AHUs -one lot of different sizes and length as required at site. Note : The piping shall be so designed that the water velocity through the piping shall not exceed max 8 fps and also the piping friction drop shall be limited to 4 m per hundred metres of pipe length. (Pipe laid inside the bldg will be covered by Aluminium Cladding 26 guage). (e) Supply, Installation,testing & commissioning of Ball valves (full open port type) complete with heavy duty PN 1.6 bronze forged body, chrome plated bronze ball with steel lever and control level etc.& product confirming to standard specification of various sizes and as per required quantity. Make:Sant/Castle/Emrald/ Leader - 1 Lot (f) Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following sizes electronic,self - balancing, pressure independent type dynamic balancing valve with integrated 2 /3 Way modulating control valve in a single body.The actuator shall be capable of accepting upto 10 V DC upto 20 mA electric signal and shall provide similar transduced feedback output to control system.Maximum close off pressure shall not be less than 6 Bar for upto 50 mm valves and 7 Bar for 65 mm & above. (iii) Expansion Tank Supply installation testing and commissioning of chilled water expansion tank of capacity 1000 Ltr made of PVC/HDPE, insulated with EPS/fiber glass wool 50 mm thick (min) covered with aluminium sheet of 26 SWG complete with suitable inlet , outlet fitting over flow connection and control valve to be placed at the highest point i.e on the roof of the building. Make: Sintex/ Polycon/Polyplast - 1 No. (iv) Air Seperator :Supply, Installation, Testing, & Commissioning of centrifugal type sediment Air separator with strainer, auto air purging arrangement complete duly insulated as required of size 200mm and as per specifications. (K) Condenser Water Piping (i) Supplying, laying/ fixing, testing & commissioning of Condenser water pipes M.S 'Heavy' Class ERW pipes of various sizes and Quantity all as per site rquirement, conforming to IS:1239 / 3589 complete of following sizes & materials along with necessary clamps,vibration-isolators,& fittings such as bends, tees etc but excluding strainer & guages etc adequately supported on rigid supports etc as per specification & as required. Make: Jindal/ TATA/Prakash/ Surya - 1 Lot (ii) Valves & Strainer In Condenser Water Line Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning in position of following valves, strainers, guages in the Condenser water plumbing confirming to PN16 pressure rating as the connected piping and adequately supported as per specifications. (ii) Valves & Strainer In Hot Water Line Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning in position of following valves, strainers, guages in the chilled water plumbing confirming to PN 10 pressure rating, duly insulated to the same specifications as the connected piping & adequately supported as per specifications. (iii) Expansion Tank for Hot water Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of expansion tank for hot water circuit of size 1.0 m x 1.0 m x1.0 m made out of 5 mm M S Sheet duly red oxide epoxy coated and insulated with EPS 50 mm thick (min) covered with 26 GAI Sheet complete with suitable inlet, outlet fitting, over flow connection, 1000 Litres - 1 Each (iv) Air Seperator Supply, Installation, Testing, & Commissioning of centrifugal type Air separator 150mm size with auto air purging arrangement complete duly insulated as required and as per specifications - 1 Each. Make: Advance/Sant/Anergy/Emrald (M) AIR CIRCULATING SYSTEM Entire work for air circulation from AHUs to entire space to be air conditioned shall be done as under : (i) GI DUCTING WORK (FACTORY MADE/ Site Fabricated) : Designing, supplying, fabrication, installation and testing of GSS sheet metal ducting complete with spliter damper, duct damper, vanes etc fabricated out of galvanised sheet class VII 120gm/ sqm zinc coating conforming to lS 277-1965 all as required and as per IS specification and as per approved drawings. (ii) Supply, installation and testing of powder coated aluminium extruded grills/ diffusers ceilling/ wall mounting type of size as required at site as per standard norms. The supply air grills/ diffusers shall be provided with screw operated opposed blade volume control device made of extruded aluminium in black anodized finish, all grills/diffusers shall have soft continious rubber/ foam gasket between the periphery of the grills/diffiisers and surface on which it has to be mounted. The return air grills shall have fixed horizontal bars. The thickness of the fixed hole louvers shall be 5mm in front and the flange shall be 20 mm wide with round edges.The register shall be suitable for concealed fixing and horizontal bars of the grills shall be mechanically crimb from the back to hold them . The square/ rectangular ceiling diffusers shall be flush fixed pattern for air flow direction - 01 Lot. Make; Suvidha/Coral/Dynamic/Airflow. (iii) Supply and fix fresh/exhaust air louvers min 50 mm deep made of powder coated extruded aluminium construction with bird /insect screen having blades inclined at 450 (degree) on a 40mm blade pitch - 01 lot as required at site- 01 Lot. (iv) Supply and Fix GI construction volume control dampers lever operated type to be mounted on ducts complete all as specifed and directed - 01 Lot

(iv) Fire Dampers Supplying and fixing of necessary as reuired at site, motorised type fire damper with spring return type actuator for supply air duct and fusible link type fire damper as per UL 555 for return air path for fire protection including maping necessary electrical interlocking arrangement with fire damper and evaporation fan motor to shut down the AC fan on detection of fire - 01 Lot (v) INSULATION WORKS Supplying and fixing of external thermal insulation on ducts with Nitrile Foam insulation 19mm thick in metalized finish, tape and adhesive (pidilite SR-998) of suitable thickness with class O fire rating when tested under BS 476 Part 6 & BS 476 Part 7 all as required at site for supply air duct passing through conditioned/ unconditioned space and 13 mm thickness for return air duct passing through unconditioned space all as per standard practice - 1 Lot Note : The thickness of insulation shall be sufficient to prevent condensation under specified condition. The material shall be CFC and HCFC free. The material shall incorporate microban anti microbial protection to actively inbuilt the growth or mould. The exposed duets shall be insulated with elastomeric nitrile rubber with an aluminium tail facing. Make: Armaflex/ K Flex/ A-Flex/ Superlon.

(vi) Supplying and fixing of acoustic lining of duct with 25 mm thick resin bounded fiber glass having a density of 33 kg/m3 and covered with 0.5mm thick perforated aluminium sheet all as specified and directed upto five metres of duct from the canvas connection of AHU - 01 Lot. Note : Air handling units shall be connected to duct work by inserting at air inlet and air outlet a double canvas sleeve. Each sleeve shall be minimum 4” long securely bounded and bolted to duct and units. Each sleeve shall be made smooth and the connecting duct work rigidly held in line with unit inlet or outlet. Make: UP Twiga/ Kimmo/ Llyod- 1 Lot (vii) Supply and fixing of acoustic Insulation of all AHU Rooms with standard norms all as per IS provision - 1 Lot (O) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of intelligent chiller plant manager including LCD display, PLC controller with all instruments, sensors, accessories and interconnecting control and power cabling etc., supporting and controlling the water cooled chiller plant with universal inputs and outputs, extendable type with number of I/O modules and expansion modules all as required for the complete plant. (N) ELECTRIC WORKS COMPRISING OF - (i) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of free floor mounted Indoor type CPRI approved confirming to IS-8623 Part 1 1993 factory fabricated cubical panel board made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet duly compartmentalized to accommodate incomer ACB and TPN copper bus bar of rating not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of the incomer. The Copper TPN bus bar shall be insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC/EPOXY insulators of size not less than 50x50 mm conical type at a maximum interval of 500 mm through out the length of the TPN bus bar . The cubical incomer ACB as well as outgoing MCCB/MCB shall have copper TPN extension links of current carrying capacity not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders- 01 No.

The extension links shall not be less than 200mm long supported on DMC/EPOXY insulators having provision for termination of incomer and outgoing cables. All interconnections between the main bus bar as well as outgoing feeders shall be carried out with TPN copper bus bar of rating not tess than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual outgoing feeders. All bus bar should be insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves. All control wires shall be with 2.5 sqmm multi stranded copper conductors and shall be properly bunched, tied, femiled for proper identification and crimped with adequate size of lugs.The cubical panel shall have a bottom channel of size 75x40mm duly coated with zinc metal coating having thickness not less than 100 microns. A detachable pre-drilled gland plate of thickness not less than 3mm zinc metal coated should be used at the bottom for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands. The panel should be front and back open able / lockable and shall have louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air, 3mm XLPE adhesive gasket shall be used to make panel board completely vermin proof. The panel should be powder coated complete and consisting of the following items mounted in seperate compartment shelves .

(O) CIVIL WORKS COMPRISING OF - (i) Foundation to equipment such as chillers AHUS, HWG LT Panel board, Pump sets, cooling tower, pipeline, common headers etc .including any other masonary work connected with the installation of equipments. (ii) Excavation and earth work for pipe work, cable work, foundation support etc. (iii) Opening in walls for duct work, grills/diffusers/ blanking plates etc, finishing of openings including painting/whitewash work to match the interior decoration existing work all as specified. NOTE: 1. Contractor shall submit design of plant and working drawing for equipment layout, schematic condenser water piping, chilled water piping, AHU layout and ducting within 04 weeks after acceptance of offer and shall got it approved from GE by detailing his representative who is well conversant with all details of drawing and layout so that alI doubts about the details submitted by the firm can be clarified on spot. 2. All the materials and equipment shall be provided as per make specified in the contract documents after getting it approved from the GE. In case for any materials/ equipments, if make are not specified in CA the same shall be provided all as per direction and written approval of GE.

3. Guarantee for the equipments provided by the firm shall be valid for any manufacturing defects and workmanship till completion of defects liability period i.e for a period of 24 months after satisfactory completion of PH - II tests. Consumable item like gas, oil, filter and electrical hardware will also be provided by firm till end of defects liability period. The rate quoted by firm shall be deemed to inclusive of this. 4. The details of percentage break up of items covered in Sl item No. 1 of BOQ are given in Annexure - I for purpose of relasing the RAR payments. 5. Routine and preventive maintenance shall be covered under defect liability period also i.e for a period of 24 Monthsfrom the satisfactory completion of PH-II test. The cost of the same are deemed to be inclusive in the rates quoted by firm. 6. The codes regulation to be followed for executing the work are attached as Appendix -K. 7. Overall COP of Plant as per IS Standard. 8. Following work will be executed by department:- (i) Provision of water supply to the inlet of makeup water tank & electrical supply free of cost. (ii) Construction of plant room and AHU room.
