EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION SUPPLY WORKS :-

Supply, installation, connection, testing and commissioning of outdoor type 11 KV, 630 Amps, Extensible outdoor fixed type (IP54), RMU (Ring maint unit) 3 way comprising of 2 Nos 630 Amps, manually operated load break switch (comprising Two Nos. incomers) & 1 No motor operated SF-6 insulated vacuum circuit Breaker as outgoing, inside robotically/manually/TIG welded stainless steel 304 (Non Ferrite Non Magnetic Grade) filled with SF6 gas at suitable pressure in accordance with the IEC 60298. tank having minimum thickness 2.5+0.5 mm having IP 67 Degree of protection. RMU should be provided with internal busbars, as well as earthing.Busbars should be of copper, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. The RMU shall be type tested for internal arc test of not less than 21KA/1 sec as per IEC62271-200. RMU shall be equipped with site replaceable bushing. The earthling busbar shall be provided inside each cable compartment for solid earthing of cable shields. The outer enclosure main door should cover entire part of the switchgear including front cover and cable doors for providing complete IP 54 protection including raised foundation of suitable size, minimum 50 cm above and 01 meter below the natural ground levels all as per manufacture's drawing. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fittings as required at site. (a) 2 Nos, Incoming Load Break Switch modules should consist of following accessories: (i) 630A Load Break Switch module for making and breaking of fault current along with. Earth switch of full making capacity, short time current-not less than 21KA/1 sec, Making capacity-50KA, Auxiliary contacts-1NO+1NC, Power frequency withstand voltage-28KV, Impulse withstand voltage-75KV, Nominal operating gas pressure-1.3 (minimum) Bar abs.

(ii) Front cover mechanism - IP2X, Cable covers - 3X, Snap action mechanism for manual operation, Cable box for front termination of the cable suitable upto 3 core 400 Sqmm, 11 KV XLPE cable Right angle boots (push on type), Suitable site replaceable Cable bushings, Arc proof cable covers with self Interlocking mechanism with earth switch , Capacitive voltage indication fixed type system as per IEC61243, Ronis Key Interlock between both Incomers (iii) -Impulse withstand voltage- 75kVP (an altitude<1000 m above msl) (iv) -SF6 Gas pressure indicator (v) -230V AC shunt Trip coil for external trip signal (vi) - Live cable indicating LEDs energised through capacitive voltage dividers. (vii) -All feeders of RMU shall be provided with multifunction meters having complete range of measurement including maximum demand and shall have serial port for communication (viii) Metering compartment of RMU shall be provided with auxiliary transformer of suitable capacity to supply power to battery charger. (ix) Integral earthing switch with making switch

(x) Emergency Trip Push Button. (xi) Transformer card for auxiliary protection. (xii) RMU shall be provided with 3 core metering and protection CTs minimum ratio for protection CTs shall be 400-200-100/5/1, 5P10, 2.5 VA and for metering CT shall be 200/5/1A Class 1, 2.5 VA (b) Outgoing Breaker module should consist of following accessories: (i) 630A Vacuum Circuit Breaker module for making and breaking of fault current alongwith Earth Switch of full making capacity. VCB should be capable to bear 40 dead short circuit operation. (ii) Short time current - not less than 21KA/ 1 sec (iii) Making Capacity - 50KA (iv) Auxiliary contacts - 1NO + 1NC (v) Power frequency withstand voltage - 28KV (vi) Impulse withstand voltage - 75KV (vii) Nominal operating gas pressure - 1.3(minimum) Bar abs. (viii) Front cover mechanism - IP2X

(c) Bus Connected PT Unit -1 No. for Metering consisting of following:- (i) Type M: Air Insulated metering module 12KV, 630A, not less than 21KA for 1 sec. - 3 Voltage Transformers of the ratio 11kV/√3 / 110 V/√3, 50 VA, Class 1.0 with HT fuses on primary side and MCB on secondary side. (ii) -Microprocessor based IDMT (50, 50N, 51, 51N) relay for overcurrent, short circuit and earth fault protection. (iii) - 1 CFL Illumination. (iv) - 1 Space Heater with thermostat. (v) - Each RYB phase indications for 2 incoming and 1 out going. (vi) - 1 Cable support bus bars, standard for 3 way unit. (vii)- 1 set Bushings for external busbar connection along with Busbar cover & Sleeved busbars for coupling. (viii) - 2x12 V Battery with battery charger with suitable burden for motor operation. Input 230 V AC & Output 24 V DC.

(d) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type VPIS 9-15 KV (e) Necessary interlocking arrangement for safety and operations (f) One No. Operation Handle for Manual Operation (g) One No. Manometer. (h) Safety Interlocks Shall be provided as per relevant IEC/IS Standards and Manufacturers directions. (j) Above switchgear shall confirm to all relevant IEC/IS Standards. (k) Manual operation of Vacuum Circuit Breaker should be possible without dismantling the motor from RMU. The motor should be fitted in such a way that it should not be outside front covers of RMU. (l) Coupling of RMU and Metering module should be with the help of Bolted type arrangement, so that the coupling at site shall be easy. Plug-in type bushing shall not be acceptable. (m) All cable bushing should be replaceable type. (n) Module should be accommodated as per manufacture's design. (o) RMU cable box shall be front accessible type to have easy access to protection and metering CTs. Vacuum Interrupter should be of same make. Cable box should be arc proof with bolted door and interlocked with respective earthing switches. Doors should be removable for the ease access to terminate cables.

Incomers) & 2 No. motor operated Vacuum Circuit Breaker as Outgoing and 1 No. bus sectionalizer consist of manually operated Load break switch. All LBS, VCB and Bus Sectionalizer shall be enclosed inside robotically /manually/TIG welded stainless steel 304 (Non Ferrite Non Magnetic Grade) filled with SF6 gas at suitable pressure in accordance with the IEC 60298. tank having min. thickness 2.5+0.5 mm having IP 67 Degree of Protection. VCB should be capable to clear 40 dead short circuit operation-02 Nos. (d) Bus Connected PT Unit -2 No. for Metering (1 No. Metering module for each breaker) consisting of following :- (i) Type M: Air Insulated metering module 12KV, 630A, not less than 21KA for 1sec. (ii) - 3 Voltage Transformers of the ratio 11kV/√3 / 110 V/√3, 50 VA, Class 1.0 with HT fuses on primary side and MCB on secondary side. (ix) - 2X12 V Battery with battery charger with suitable burden for motor operation. Input 230 V AC & Output 24 V DC.

(e) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type VPIS 9-15 KV (f) Necessary interlocking arrangement for safety and operations (g) One No. operating Handle for Manual Operation. (h) One No. Manometer. (l) Manual operation of Vacuum Circuit Breaker should be possible without dismantling the motor from RMU. The motor should be fitted in such a way that it should not be outside front covers of RMU. (m) Coupling of RMU and Metering module should be with the help of Bolted type arrangement, so that the coupling at site shall be easy. Plug-in type bushing shall not be acceptable. (n) All Cable bushing should be replaceable type. (o) Module should accommodate as per manufacture's design. (p) RMU cable box shall be front accessible type to have easy access to protection and metering CTs. Vacuum Interrupter should be of same make. Cable box should be arc proof with bolted door and interlocked with respective earthing switches. Doors should be removable for the ease access to terminate cables. Notes for item No 2.01 and 2.02 :- (i) The contractor will submit NABL accredited lab test reports of the RMU's in original. (ii) Pre-despatch inspection shall be carried out by Rep of Accepting Officer. All arrangements for the same shall be provided by the contractor & shall be considered within quoted rates.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade 400 Sqmm 3 core cross-sectional area ,conformimg to IS 7098 , suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system, laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Excavation, Earthwork and sand cushioning ,PCC protection cover, GI pipe and protection clamps shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) High voltage test to be carried out after laying and jointing of cables. All arrangement for the same shall be provided by the contractor & shall be considered within quoted rates. (iii) Pre-dispatch factory inspection of HT cables shall be done by the representative of Accepting Officer. All the arrangements of factory inspection shall be made by the contractor and expenses on this account is deemed to be included in the quoted rates against the item.

Supply & fixing un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, ISI marked, class HV, type 1, flat size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm laid flat in trenches over the cable with the length of slab laid perpendicular to the direction of the cable length adjacent/ abutting each other complete all as specified and directed. Material & labour for earthing complete using galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected with and including GI strips 32mm x 6mm in and including GI pipe 50mm bore medium grade as protection pipe (from top of earth plate upto the body of equipment) by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts, GI washers, thimbles; earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick all around including top and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh PCC chamber of size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm (top of chamber minimum 15cm above the normal ground level (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate and RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and angle iron frame including necessary excavation/ earthwork in any type of soil/ rock and as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR part-I (2009) testing on completion complete all as specified and directed with the following :- (i) Test point GI of size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm. (ii) Watering pipe GI light grade 20mm dia from top of the earth electrode up to MS funnel with brass wire mesh embedded in floor of PCC earth pit. (GI funnel should properly tightened on GI watering pipe and embedded in PCC floor of earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits). (iii) PCC earth pit 30cm x 30cm constructed in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar (1:6) plaster including RCC pit cover 25cm thick with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia suitable for carrying of pit cover. (iv) Angle iron frame made of 40mm x 40mm x 4mm angle iron for 30mm x 30mm PCC pit for holding the pit cover. Note : (a) The unit rate shall be include for protection pipe GI water pipe, wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, test point, GI strip of size 32mm x 6mm from the earth plate and up to metallic body of the equipment/panel board etc. or 7.5 metre whichever is more. (b) PCC pit shall be provided at least 0.5 metre away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junction elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (c) RCC pit cover shall be 80mm thick pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/ Sqm of size 300 mm x 300 mm in lieu of CI cover.

All as per srl item No. 2.16 here-in-before but earthing using 4mm GI wire as earth lead in 15mm bore protection pipe and galvanised earth plate of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm as earth electrode.

Supply & fixing galvanised iron pipe light grade ISI marked 100 mm bore for passing of cable, fixed to poles/ walls/ laid under floor complete with and including fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing switch air break gang operated out door type HT 11 KV triple poles 400 Amps air break fittings type with fixed contacts of phosphorus bronze and moving contacts of copper with mechanically operating from ground level vertical mounted complete with HT insulator on steel frame operating rod made out of 25mm dia GI pipe medium grade worked from ground level with handle and locking arrangement with 12 insulators with drop out fuse assy complete all as specified and directed Note : (i) Original test certificate of manufacturer shall be produced by the contractor (ii) Clamps/ cross arms shall be measured and paid for separatelyunder respective items).

Supply & fixing pre-stressed concrete pole11 Mtr long 152mmx152mm at top and 152mmx260mm at bottom class 9 erected in vertical position embedded in PCC foundation including painting with synthetic enameled paint in alternate white and black strips each 30cm wide up to 1.5 Mtr height from top of coping complete all as specifed Note:- Earth work, PCC for foundation and coping shall be measured and paid for seperately.

Supply & fixing Danger notice plate for HT of 25cm x 20cm x 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white, with letters figures and conventional skull and bones and writtten as "DANGER" in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made out of MS flat 25mm x 3mm, including nuts & bolts, including 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Instructions are to be written in three languages viz. - Punjabi, Hindi and English

Supply & fixing lightening arrester expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp rupturing capacity 65 kilo Amps porcelain conforming to IS-3070 Pt-I suitable for 11 KV, HT over head line complete including nuts, bolts, clamps, brcket etc and connecting with GI earth wire, discharge capacity 65 kilo Amps complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for PCC work (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of stay/ coping of poles including necessary form work and fair finish to exposed surfaces without using extra cement etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for PCC work (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed

Supply & fixing MS cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending, cold or hot, drilling holes or bolt in any shape or size including two coat of first grade aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 route indicator of size 150 x 150 x 900mm with 8mm dia steel reinforcement @ 100 c/c both ways duly engraved "HT CABLE/ HT JOINT" with two coats of synthetic enamel paint first quality fixed with PCC (1:3:6) below ground level of size 300 x 300 x 300mm complete all as specified and directed Note : Quoted unit rate is deemed to be included the necessary cost of excavation, returning filling and removal etc.

Material & labour for boring hole under the road/payment/ hard standing using trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure not less than one metre below ground level complete all as specified and directed. .

Re-routing/re-laying HT cable of any size by taking up cable protectioin cover, HT Cable by excavation carefully complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of earth work, transporation of retrived cable, relaying of serviceable old protection cover shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor.

Dismantling and removing old HT PCC poles carefully and including breaking of PCC in foundation, making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling cross arms, channel, angle iron, clamps, nut, bolts, stay wire, stay assembly, GI wire, anti climbing devices, danger notice boards. GOD, insulators etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down existing ACSR conductor of any size by opening the binding wire from HT/ LT electric poles complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down/ up old HT cable off size from the trenches and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

Compound Wall Fencing and Gate Works :-

Material & labour PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete etc. complete all as directed

Supply & fixing mild steel work of angle iron (size as per site requirement) for fencing posts and struts including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed

Supply & fixing chain link fencing including line wires, 50mm x 50mm size of mesh of 10 gauge thick GI wire and fixed to steel fencing post by nut and bolts and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering,Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed

Earthwork and excavation works :-

Excavating in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m in depth for foundation for pipes, walls, cesspits, pier holes, cables etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.50 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil not exceeding 50m in soft loose soil and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point.
