Supply and lay in trenches ductile iron pipes, socket and Spigot ends, of size DN150 mm dia bore, ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-9 rating with nominal wall thickness 6.0mm, suitable for push-on-joint(Rubber gasket-D jointing) with cement mortor lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329/2000 including EPDM rubber joints conforming IS: 5382 of 1985 all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Open well submersible monobloc pump with copper rotor suitable for raw/turbid water application suitable for 3 phase 415 volts, capacity 850 LPM at 15mtr head, size of inlet x outlet (65mm x 50mm) conforming to IS 14220 (1994) with stainless shaft, bronze bush and stamping lamination with high permeability steel for long life and increased efficiency, impeller cast iron. Insulation: B class Protection: IP 68. The cap of motor in HP/KW shall be as per recommendation of the manufacturer. The motor shall be conforming to IS: 9283 (1994) with minimum 69% efficiency and Guaranteed Pump efficiency at design flow should be equal or greater than 65% complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Capacity of motor shall be decided after considering suitable derating factor as per tropical condition of Srinagar. Notes: (i) Base frame will be fixed on platform (ii) Size of platform including civil work are as per manufacturer recommendations. Front and back door operating with locking arrangement at front. Panel shall be provided with proper ventilation arrangement from both sides including ventilation fan etc. Protection of enclosure IP 42 with pre-treatment through 7 tank hot chemical process prior to powder coated with minimum 50-70 micron with pure polyester siemens grey structural RAL 7035 shade. The bottom of outer shell contains a detachable plate having provision for armoured cable entry with adequate size detachable glands. Computer cut self adhesive vinyl danger notice plate having conventional symbol of bones and skull to be provided. The panel shall be provided with manufacturer name plate, heavy duty SS cable glands of adequate size for incoming and outgoing cables. The extension link shall not be less than 300mm long supported on suitable size F class insulators for termination of incoming and outgoing cables. All control wires shall be with 2.5sqmm FRLS multi stranded copper conductor and shall be properly bunched, tied, ferruled for proper identification and crimped with adequate size of lugs (ii) Digital multifunction meter (V, A, KW, KWH), 415 AC alongwith C.T's of suitable ratio (set of three), class 1.0, complete for metering (iii) Indication lamps LED type (RYB) =01 set of three. (iv) MCB SP 6A 'C' series for control ckt protection = 03 Nos. (B). (b) One cable box on secondary (LV) side consisting of 4 Nos porcelain bushings complying to IS 7421 with GM bushing rods complete with GM nuts, and washers with cable gland suitable for reception of outgoing L.T. sheathed armoured cables having non-magnetic material gland plate with appropriate sized single compression brass glands of suitable size on LV side to terminate XLPE armoured cable. The tank shall be design for a pressure of 25 kPa above atmosphere pressure, measured inside the tank for 30 minutes and vacuum of 250 mm of mercury for 30 minutes. (d) Pressure relief valve shall be of 35 kPa with dia.12.5 mm. (e) Air release plug (f) Corrugated panels to achieve the desired cooling to limit the specified temperature rise. (j) Lifting lugs: 2 Nos of MS plate 8 mm thick (min) suitably reinforced by vertical supporting flat welded edgewise below the lug on the side wall. (k) Pulling lugs: 4 Nos of welded heavy duty pulling lugs of MS plate 8 mm thick (min) shall be provided to pull the transformer horizontally.

(n) Rating plate with terminal markings: The information of Rating and terminal markings as per IS 1180 (Part-I) 2014, Clause No 13 shall be engraved (punched) on combined name plate. (a) Busbar: TPN Aluminium electrolytic grade high conductivity bus bar of rating not less than the 1.5 times the rated capacity of incomer MCCB shall be insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves and mounted on suitable size F class insulators made of non hygroscopic, non combustable, track resistant, high strength FRP/MC/DMC material at an interval not more than 500mm through out the length of busbar along with extension and inter connected busbar. The extension link shall not be less than 300mm long supported on suitable size F class insulators for termination of incoming and outgoing cables.All control wires shall be with 2.5sqmm multi stranded copper conductor and shall be properly bunched, tied, ferruled for proper identification and crimped with adequate size of lugs. (b) Exhaust Fan: 2No suitable size & capacity but not less than 6 inches exhaust fan shall be as required for heat dissipation to maintain temperature inside the panel within 50°C. (c) APFC Relay:- With inbuilt solid state automatic power factor correction arrangement having microprocessor (Intelligent) based control circuit & capacitor duty contractor power switching Stage having a required capacity of 30 KVAR having capacitor bank in steps of: - 1 x 3 KVAR, 3 x 5 KVAR, 1 x 10 KVAR and 1 x 2 KVAR Direct connected with busbar through 32 AMP TPN MCB. Note: Suitable stages and configuration of capacitor should be designed from panel manufacturer get it approved from GE/AGE by the contractor before placement of order.
(d) MCCB: Incoming should be MCCB 63 Amp 4 pole, 25 KA, lcs = 100% lcu, with fixed magnetic and adjustable thermal release, adjustable overload 80-100% and adjustable short ckt 5 to 10 ln setting complete with phase seperator - 01 nos. Outgoing : Suitable size and qty of MCB/MCCB along with 2NO+2NC contrcator of adequate capacity shall be provided as per capacitor design. (e) Micro processor: Microprocessor incorporated will be of size 144 x144 mm flush mounted on site programmable capable for detecting wrong current transformer connections with folloowing specification: -

Supply, install, testing, commissioning of 'Silent type' diesel generating set alongwith having alternator rating of 100kVA/80 kW, 415Volts at 1500RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor at 415 volts suitable for 50 hz 3 phase system and for 0.85 load factor, CPCB-II complied, acoustic enclosure, relay panel for automatic starting on main failure (AMF), anti vibration mountings, control panel and foundation. The DG set should be robust in construction factory tested and assembled to ensure perfect alignment of Engine and Alternator on a common base frame. The DG set power rating indicated above is inclusive of altitude correction factor however the DG Set shall be designed and suitable to operate as per tropical condition of Srinagar after taking into account necessary derating factor in the capacity of engine for tropical conditions prevalent at Srinagar and for more details on service condition refer particualr specification.The DG set shall be comprising of following item as under:-
(a) Diesel Engine: The diesel engine shall be of four stroke cycle multi-cylinder,direct injection water cooled, turbo charged with after cooler, Air to air aftercooling and optimised turbocharger for increased altitude capabilities developing required BHP @ 1500 rpm under NTP condition of BS 5514/ISO 3046 with an over load capacity of 110% for one hour in any specified 12 hrs of continuous operation, suitable for generating set application on AMF mode. The engine shall confirm to IS:10000/BS:649/BS 5514/ISO 3046The engine shall have the following accessories: - (i) Cooling fan and radiator. (ii) DM water cooling systems with pre-mix anti-corrosive additive (iii) Turbocharger. (iv) Fly wheel with fly wheel housing. (v) Electrical engine starter motor (disengagement after start-up) with Batteries. (vi) Battery charging systems. (vii) Stainless steel exhaust flexible elbow. (viii) Thermal sealing of exhaust pipe and aluminium cladding for complete exhaust pipe and silencer. (ix) Required filters for fuel, lube oil, air etc. (x) Sets of flexible hoses as required. (xi) Suitable rubber coupling to Alternator with guard. (xii) Suitable Engine controller for protection of the engine. (xiii) Coolant heater and crankcase heater. (xiv) Oil drain Pump. (xv) Heavy duty air cleaner.
(b) Engine protections: (i) High coolant temperature warning & trip (ii)Low lubricating oil pressure warning & trip (iii) Low coolant level warning & trip(iv) Fail to crank trip (v) Over crank trip (vi) High and Low speed trip (vii) Low or High battery voltage alarms.(viii) Clogged filter warning and Lack of fuel (ix) High Canopy Temperature (x) Set fail to start protection after failure of the set to start after successful three consecutive start attempts.
(c) Starting system: The engine starting shall be by means of totally enclosed axial type electric starter suitable for 12volts/24 volts DC starting system comprising of starter motor, voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with suitable number of batteries(25 plates, 180AH Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF) Lead-Acid type) as required as per specifications. The battery shall be supplied with a suitable floor mounted MS stand treated with seven tank treatment, two coats of red oxide /primer & acid resistant paint.with wooden base, adaptor box etc . with copper conductor battery leads of required length and socket/clamps
(d) Alternator: 100 kVA 3 phase 0.8 PF 415V, 4 wire 1500 rpm self-excited and self regulated through AVR confirming to IS :4722/BS 2613 suitbale for tropical condition with brush less exciter, housed in screen protected drip proof enclosure. The alternator shall be confirming to IS 13364 Part-2 & IS 15999 Part-1/ IEC 60034 Part-1 capable of delivering rated output at rated power factor with, (i) Terminal voltage differing from the rated value by not more than +/- 5%. (ii) Frequency differing from the rated value by not more than +/-0.5%. (iii) Short circuit capacity of 300% for 10 seconds. (iv) Over load capacity of 110% for one hour. The insulation class of the Alternator shall be class F/ H. The temperature rise shall be limited to class B and Ingresses enclosure protection shall IP23 or better. The alternator shall be fitted with suitable Nos. Resistance Temperature Device (RTD) & Bearing Temperature Device (BTD) along with space heaters. (e) Alternator Protection: Alternator should have following protections: - (i) Over and Under voltage (ii) Under and Over frequency warning and trip (iii) Loss of excitation (iv) Over current and Earth Fault and Short Circuit Protection (v) Unbalanced loads (vi) Restricted Earth Fault Protection. (vii) Differential protection. (viii) Diode Failure.
(g) Acoustic enclousure: The acoustic enclosure should be supplied along with DG set from the manufacturer outlet itself as per CPCB norm.Acoustic enclosure shall be of powder coated and fabricated out of 2mm thick CRCA MS sheet. The canopy shall have four hinged doors, one door with glass window to view proper parameters on the control panel. The canopy and doors shall have inside lining of fire retardant foam/glasswool as acoustic materials. The base frame shall be fabricated in ISMC channel or in sheet metal, with lifting hooks for convenient lifting of complete set i.e. along with canopy, engine and alternator. The sound level shall have less
than 75 db (A) at a distance of 1 meter.High quality noise absorbant and fire-retardant grade acoustic Insulation material (P.U. Foam) complying to IS 8183. The allowable temperature raise inside the canopy is 5 to 7 deg. Centigrade. The Measurement of noise should be as per ISO 3744/ ISO 8528 (Part 10) standard.The canopy has the provision of emergency push button, external to the canopy
(h) Governor :The governor shall be of electronic type suitable for monitoring constant engine speed within the specified limits for auto parallel and auto load sharing operation.
(j) Exhaust: The exhaust piping system shall be supplied with a hospital grade silencer and catalytic converter suitably optimized to meet stringent noise emission standards laid down by MoEF / CPCB.The exhaust piping and the silencer shall be wrapped with rock wool and/or calcium silicate. The outside shall be neatly wrapped with aluminum cladding. The exhaust line shall be extended beyond the height of the utility building roof as required by pollution control norms.Suitable supporting structure for installation shalll be provided.
(k) Hot air exhaust (Radiator cooling): GI duct shall be provided for hot air exhaust from DG set up to designated place of duct outlet. The duct shall be made of 14 Gauge thick Class-8, Galvanized Iron (GI) Sheet.Galvanised Iron (GI) duct shall be provided for venting hot exhaust air out of the DG room, from radiator hot air outlet point of the DG Acoustic enclosure through nearest brick wall.
(l) Fuel Tank: Inbuilt/internal bottom mounted (with-in DG set or with-in base frame) diesel tank of suitable capacity with mounting brackets, complete with fuel inlet, out let, air vent, drain plug, level indicator, inter connection pipes from tank to diesel generator as required. Suitable barrier shall be provided between Diesel tank and the Engine. Fuel tank shall be fabricated as per tropical condition of Srinagar with 210 Litres approx. capacity or designed capacity shall be suitable for 8 hrs continous operation.
(m) AMF Control Panel: The control panel shall be designed for Automatic ON Mains Failure Operationof the Generator sets. The Panel will be totally enclosed, Dust tight, vermin proof,floor mounted, free standing, cubical compartmentalized type with hinged doors, fabricated from 14 SWG CRCA Steel metal having separatecompartments . The Panel will be epoxy painted powder coated with light grey shade, After Seven Tank treatment, and the Panel / compartment will be fitted with the following instrument and pre-wired with colour coded flexible copper cable with ferule Numbers for easy identification & maintenance. The panel shall be complete with interconnections, insulators, two nos. of earthing lugs and with suitable rating of MCCB at both the end & shall incorporate the followings
Note: (i) AMF Panel shall be installed outside the acoustic enclousre (ii) LT Cable of suitable rating from DG set Alternator output to Automatic main failure panel (AMF panel) should be provided by the contractor. (iii) Cost of DG set foundation deemed to be included in cost of item. (iv) Contractor should submit necessary drawing to GE/Engineer-in-Charge before placing the order.

Totally enclosed dust and vermin proof suitably ventilated for 3 phase, 4 wire 415 Volts, 50Hz, AC supply, outer sheel shall be made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet & MS angle section of suitable size for frame, factory fabricated, compartmentalized inner shell shall be made of out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet for control gear. Front and back door operating with locking arrangement at front. Panel shall be provided with proper ventilation arrangement from both sides including ventilation fan etc.Protection of enclosure IP 56 with pre-treatment through 7 tank hot chemical process prior to powder coated with minimum 50-70 micron with pure polyester siemens grey structural RAL 7035 shade. The bottom of outer shell contains a detachable plate having provision for armoured cable entry with adequate size detachable glands. Computer cut self adhesive vinyl danger notice plate having conventional symbol of bones and skull to be provided.The panel shall be provided with manufacturer name plate,heavy duty SS cable glands of adequate size for incoming and outgoing cables. D.Platform for feeder pillar/LT Panel shall be of suitable size as directed 200mm height above ground level, the foundation shall be using PCC 1:2:4 type B1,15cm thick, brick (sub class B) work in CM 1:6, rendering in CM 1:6 on exposed surfaces and 100mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in padding on top and grouting legs of panel.
Note: (i) LT panel shall be design verified as per IS/IEC 61439 1 & 2 (ii) Contractor shall submit the following type Test report i.e. IP Test Report and verification of short circuit withstand test report issued by CPRI for conformance to IS/IEC 61439- 1 & 2,65 KA 1 sec in respect of LT Panel (iii) Contractor shall submit drawing for approval prior to place order.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to and including 32 x 6 mm galvanised earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate no 3 of MES Part-I, including testing on completion including the material and labour of the following (a) Excavation and earth work or drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil. Note: (1) The resistance should be less than 5 ohms after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
